Dusk emerged from The Bracken Woods. She took a few steps forward and then tried to take in the landscape. /Thank goodness I'm finnaly out of that forest,/ she thought while picking thorns out of her brown pelt. She flinches at the pain of the thorns, then got up and keept on walking.

Dusk could see the glacier in the background, and resisted the urge to clime the mountains around it, /you don't want to get too close to the pack wolves over there. you don't exactly know where their territory ends./ she thought, and then stoped when she realized how out in the open she is. /well at least i'm not neer their territory. maybe I should rest a bit; I mean I've walked a pretty long distance./ she lied down still being alert to the area around her.
Hello. ^__^

In tracking a particularly nimble rabbit northwards, Lucani had inadvertently roamed beyond the borders of her home and was now somewhere unfamiliar. She was a fair hunter but a poor tracker, so it was perhaps no wonder that it had taken her a while to make the final kill. But when she did, she ate her meal and felt nourished, sitting up now to regard her surroundings. Rolling grass with a touch of frost, and sunlight on the distant mountains. It seemed if she travelled east she would be back at Sleeping Dragon shortly. That was the plan, anyway.

On her way home she saw a young brown wolf walking in a similar direction. Lucani's expert eyes noticed one or two small flecks of blood on the stranger's coat — and, being a healer, she could not help but interfere. Did you know you have some blood on you, young one? she asked.
