Smiles suspiciously... 7th account.... @Amekaze

The cream girl blinked her bluebird eyes. It was time. She was not one to wait to long, something bad always came of decisions like that. Her thick ruff flickered in the wind, the breeze sending the scent of the pack she had been lurking around. She decided that no longer could she wait for her sister, Whisper, for she had not returned as promised. The girls thoughts drifted to her sister. she began to wonder if she was alright. Had she found a pack? Possibly, but if so, why wouldn't she have called to Aloe and told her?

Aloe's thoughts reached the surface of reality again, she would have to submerge herself in those thoughts later. now was her time to find her future. She had stayed a distance from the borders for several days, now she was closer, but still at a respectful distance. She gave a howl, a howl very similar to her sister's, chilling and hauntingly beautiful. She anticipated the sounds of paw-steps nearing her. It would be a dream to enter this pack. She was of good stature, strength, and speed, much unlike her tiny yet astoundingly strong sister.

Aloe did not have the same structure as her sister though, she was taller, had thicker fur, and was curvier. Whisper did not have the same feminine curves of Aloe, she was built for sleek moves and swift kills. Aloe was meant to battle when called, but was better in her hunting skills. She hoped the pack would accept her, they seemed quite sturdy. Although, she had smelled death upon the mountain...maybe another older pack member? Well, it was not her business, yet.
A howl pierced the air, drawing Charon's attention away from the insides of the territory and towards its borders. He carried his body proudly, even moreso now that his mateship with Amekaze had been confirmed. His head was arched proudly, carried tall, and his flag a banner that portrayed his rank and stature in the pack as he carried it proudly above his back. Paws carried the freckled leader to the borders, where he saw a white female.

"I'm Charon, Alpha of Moonspear," said Charon, deciding to introduce himself where usually he would just wait for others to state their business. He hoped that she would be submissive at his borders and continue to show proper respect, and that she'd be quick about her business on his mountain.
The creamy female lowered her tail and head in a respectful submission and gave a small smile. "Salutations, it is my pleasure to meet you Charon. I am Aloe, and I have come here to request permission to join your pack and contribute to your community." She spoke, her rich voice spilling from her maw. She was quite excited inside but kept her calm demeanor. It would be wonderful if he accepted her. "That is, if you have room for a huntress." She wagged her tail and looked up at him, but not directly in the eye, for she was not looking to challenge him.

She studied his thick silver pelt and his facial expression, trying to find out what he thought of her from his body language. She had always had a knack for finding what others were feeling.
She was chatty, starting to explain what she wanted. Charon was pleased that she showed him proper submission. Her words, to him, seemed like she was trying too hard, but he didn't show it on his face. There was a confident smile on his face, for there was little, if anything, that could make him feel unhappy now that he basked in the glow of Amekaze's love. Anyway, he focussed back onto this border meeting quickly, nodding as this Aloe character spoke.

When she finished with being a good hunter, Charon said, "Are you just a good hunter, or a really good one? What makes you special? Like... If you could name one thing that not a lot of wolves've got that you do that you can add to the pack?" He hoped it wouldn't be 'trapper' to tack on to Dhole's silly ideas of trapping prey. Though it would be convenient if it would work, but, really, was there any chance it would? (little did he know he'd soon have to eat those words, even if all Dhole would trap was herself)
She slowed her talking, becoming a bit more comfortable but still showing proper manners. "I'd have to say my legs. I have quite strong legs that allow me to jump a large distance. I can reach large birds in the trees and have taken nests before, they're great food for puppies. I also have an upper hand on deer, for I can leap onto their backs and slow them down while the rest of the pack can reach the deer and help in the killing process." She wasn't going to glorify herself, just answer his questions. "I would say I'm a 'really good', I was the lead huntress in my last pack.

Aloe had always been a wolf of manners, she was just raised that way. She was not trying to act overly-polite, it was just the manners any wolf should have towards a wolf with a higher rank than them. It was just pure respect, and respect she would use.
'Legs' was probably one of the last answers that Charon had expected from her, but there it was. He grinned, feeling amused, even if her explanation afterwards explained her reasons behind naming her legs as her greatest forte and what made her special. He liked her confidence, though; she hadn't given a second thought to her answer, just thrown it out there. She knew what she was good at, and he liked that.

Besides, the fact she mentioned being lead hunter at her previous pack made Charon think her ambitious, and he thought ambition (as long as it wasn't for his throne) and confidence admirable qualities. "Sounds good," said Charon. "Too bad such a good hunter shows up empty-handed on our borders, though," he added, though the amused smile on his face showed that he was mostly joking. He just wanted to see how she'd respond. The prodding-with-a-stick part of the joining process was his favourite.
She chuckled and smiled at him."Well, I will hopefully be given the chance to hunt plenty of prey for this pack, if you accept me. From the sound of it, there are many prey items around here." She gave a friendly grin. It was already a privilege to have a pack, but a humorous alpha as well, that would be absolutely wonderful!

Her bluebird eyes grazed over him, trying to find how he had reacted to her, hoping it would be positively. She angled her ears towards the sound of a vole, judging by the smell, rustling in the grass. She restrained herself from attacking it, though the pressure from her instincts to do so was strong. Her nose twitched at it's sweet scent.Oh well, hunting would have to wait till' later.
At the sound of rustling grass, one of Charon's ears turned. He noticed that she heard it, too, but further ignored it. He wasn't that hungry, anyway. Charon and Amekaze had been allowed to be picky about who they did and did not let into their pack, and had turned away a variety of wolves throughout the winter. This girl seemed alright though, and they could use a few more able wolves right now.

"Alright, you're in," he said and he turned away from the borders. He looked over his shoulder, inviting her silently to enter the territories so that she could further get to know them. He asked as he walked into the forest that frayed the lower slopes of Moonspear, "Where are you from? Around this area, or did you come from further away?"

could you apply to the moonspear usergroup so i can add you to the pack? i'm not sure if/how to add you manually to a usergroup, derp.
Aloe smiled, feeling an overwhelming wave of excitement flood through her, but as her new alpha spoke, she was brought back to reality.  She trotted after him and answered his question."Well, my sister and I came from the far west, DeerPath Meadow if you've heard of it. I've been gone maybe 5-7 months. I don't know where she went though, she promised to return, but I'm pretty sure she left to find her own way." Her smile was replaced with a straight face, she tried not to show her disappointment. It was hard being away from Whisper, for she was the sibling whom had always stuck close to her. Aloe tried not to think about it though, her sister had incredible agility and speed, she would be fine.

Yep, no problem!
Charon nodded absently as she spoke of some pack that she had come from. He'd never heard of it, which was clear from the expression on his face, though listened to her story. Instantly he wondered, "Why'd you guys leave the pack? How'd you get separated?" It sounded like they had travelled here together, but like she hadn't seen said sister for a while. Charon idly wondered if she'd leave if she ever did find her sister.

He took a left and followed a narrow, picturesque trail through the forest. Sun fell through the trees, and Charon enjoyed its warmth as spring was rapidly approaching now.
"Well," she started quietly, " We left the pack because my naive sister tried to challenge our alpha, who was at least two times her size. She really is quite small. She was badly wounded and I didn't want her to die... As soon as she was healed though, it was like she wanted to get away from me. I woke up one night and she was gone, it was pouring out and there was no way I could've tracked her, So i just let her be..." She was silent and waited for Charon to reply, for it was hard to talk of her sister nowadays. She despised her for some reasons, but deep, deep down loved her. " She didn't care to have me around anyways, and was never as nice as she had been in the pack."
The story with the sister was a little confusing to Charon, but he nodded absently as he waded through it. When she finished, he wondered, "Why didn't you return to your pack then?" At least he assumed from her earlier words that she had left from her home pack because of her sister. If Charon would've had such an ungrateful sister he'd probably have just gone back home afterwards. But maybe she had just been young and wanted something different, something for herself.

The trail they were following came alongside a creek, and Charon stopped there, leaning down to the water to drink because all this talking'd made him thirsty.
The girl stopped as her alpha drank and answered his question. "I wanted to follow a new path. My old pack had no wiggle room, you ate, slept, patrolled, hunted, ate, slept. There was no conversation in between. It wasn't great, but I had stayed because of my sister. I thought she was there for me... I guess I was wrong." She shrugged her shoulders in a nonchalant way, but the pain she felt inside was real. "Anyways," she spoke, changing the subject." Where must I go to meet your beta, and possibly co-alpha?" She wagged her tail, anticipation to meet the pack built up inside of her.
As Aloe asked about his leadership, Charon said, "Amekaze is my mate and the Alpha female. Our Beta is my brother Flóki. The quickest way to find them is to call for them if you really want to meet them quick, but they're busy wolves." He stepped away from the creek, his thirst sated, and licked his lips to defeat a few stray drops of water running down his chin.

"Anyway, I'll leave you to discover the rest of the territory yourself for now. Welcome to the pack, Aloe." Charon moved in and rubbed his side past hers before he slipped off back towards the borders; that way the rest of the pack would know that she was allowed here and not some trespasser, because his smell lingered about her.
