After Cicero had returned with the news he gathered on his scouting mission Burke instantly jumped to prepare for what might be coming. He had a definite goal but to reach that goal he had to throw out some lines first, train wolves and keep relationships at a good level. Mainly the reason why the tank of a wolf was out of his dark forest and closing in on the borders of Moonlit Hills. He let Nemesis know she was in charge for a day or so.

The large male still walked with confidence. His trot looking light. As he came closer to their borders he howled for @Malice and Malice only. His howl loud as it echoed on. Burke held his docked tail in a more neutral stance, for once not up high. He had things to arrange, or well, talk about. The male kept standing, as calm as he was at his borders when he was receiving Malice.
Oooh, what's this :O? Sorry to not reply sooner, I had 3 fricking tests this week on subjects that I'm bad at. Thanks school <3

One could always find the queen patrolling the borders or hunting away. Socializing with her members had sure happened, but she waited for someone to approach her. If her members were interested in her stories and wisdom, they would have to show some interest in talking with her. This day was no different from the others. Her days seemed to follow some kind of pattern. Wake up, hunt, eat, patrol, sleep, repeat. It was getting old, that was for sure. That's why it was shocking for her to hear a familiar voice fill the haunting woods. The howl didn't come from any of her members, nor Cicero or anyone else she had met outside of Phantom Hollow. Or perhaps it did... She couldn't place it somehow, but she definitely knew the calm voice of the caller.

She ran swiftly through the woods, eager to find out who had called for her, specifically for her. A flash of the docked tailed male went through her mind, and as soon as it did, she was able to match the voice with the picture. It was the alpha of the Dark Brotherhood, but what in the name of Glaux was he doing here? She reached the border, panting a little, but quickly redeemed herself. Burke? She asked, her head tipping to the right. It surprised her to see the calm alpha right at her doorstep, as they had spoken just days ago. Had thereĀ been a problem with one of her members?

She approached him carefully, though with a raised tail. While he was the oldest and probably the wisest of the two, this was their land. No one, not even Burke could treat it with disrespect. She wasn't asking for submission, she was just showing her position really. She stared at him, a confused look on her face, awaiting an explanation for the sudden call at her borders.
IC Development! Woop Woop! Not to worry! I was busy too! :D

Burke did not have to wait long before Malice came to see him. She looked quite surprised to see him, which was quite understandable. The large male kept his same calm posture. It seemed that she was not demanding submission from him, which was good because Burke would not have given that to her. She was not his alpha, they were more like... equals even though he liked to think he was more experienced and better at being an alpha than her. Still, he was not going to comment on any of that seeing that he had more important matters to discuss. Burke made sure to check if no one was around. "Malice," he greeted her.

The older male inhaled softly. He wanted to talk how their enemy had settled in these lands, fairly close to Malice and her pack. But he first needed to know how she felt about them in the first place. Once again Burke was in no mood to chit chat. "There is a new pack. They settled in Neverwinter Forest, meaning they are your neighbors," he spoke with that calm tone once more, but on the inside he was not calm. Burke had the most horrible thoughts what he would do to their alpha. "Have you spoken to them? Any opinion about them?," he asked to the female. He was going to plan this out carefully, if they were good friends Burke would have a harder time to convince her, yet if she wanted this pack to be gone too then Burke would have some more forces that would surround this pack. He was not going to allow them living here, not after what he did to his mate. Burke saw this as the moment to take his revenge, to do something with his grief.
