@Depp : I feel like our two males might get along? :3

Zephyr was out enjoying a dusk walk, breathing in the scents of the cool air as he watched bats beginning to emerge and swoop about against the lavender and grey sky. His snowy splashed paws and chest glowed in the dim light, but the rest of his crow black pelt was melting into the shadows as he went further into the forest; his grassy neon eyes sparkling with the last echoes of sun. His paws slapped hard against the earth as memories flooded in his mind, heart heavy as stone while he trotted forwards. The lonely male could not help but reminisce, his memories were the only thing he had left; save the very few friends he'd made so far in this new home. He was already in love with the area, especially beside the river where he could clearly see the mountains; a place that reminded him intensely of his old home. There he headed now, to see it in the dying rays and eventually bathed in moonlight; nobody would miss him if he spent the night there, he was sure. As he sat beside the river, Zephyr would've sworn he scented another wolf, but couldnt be sure. Shrugging it off, he poked a paw into the cooling water as he lay on the banks.
Depp, instead of wandering aimlessly or sniffing out any intoxicating plants, was instead roaming the riverside in search of crawfish. He had almost forgotten on their existence, until reminded by an oddly shaped rock that him and his past pack, the one lead by his father, would take the chance to fish for them anytime they got it. So far he'd come up with no sign of these buggy "fish" and before he could slip into unforgiving boredom he was presented the smell of another. He lifted his head, trying to decipher who it belonged too which didn't take long. It was Zephyr's, a fellow member of Seadog who used to be an alpha, did he remember that correctly? Hopefully so, it didn't matter much did it though, the chances of him being quizzed by the yin-yang colored wolf was little. Following the scent, soon enough revealing the wolf emanating it.  "Hello there, mate." His voice was low and a bit gruff, as the perusal, his expression showed no smile but held a far more friendly tone than Sen's would have. His eyes were squinted a bit, and the usual tilt of the head remained. "How's Seadog been treating you?"
Zephyr heard Depp approach, ignoring the sounds and scents coming his way until the alpha was obviously heading for him. He lifted his head, ears flicking forward in friendliness.
"Hello Depp. Seadog is lovely so far, I quite enjoy the scenery. It feels much like my own home, but quite obviously is not, if such a thing makes sense."
The crow black male smiled, tail wagging slightly as his front paws dipped and swayed in the cool water. He seemed more sedated than normal, less outgoing than usual. His run-in with Sen had him frazzled, unused to the lack of trust between him and those he shared a territory with. True, he'd been a loner for a few months now but he'd had no contact with others till Seadog Sanctuary. His damp mood, however, did not effect his kindness towards anyone, just darkened his grassy eyes as he checked their surroundings from where he lay.
He looked up towards the sky for a moment, as though gathering thought, then nodded in agreement. It made some form of sense. This had been the third wolf to approve that they were enjoying Seadog, which he was thankful for, that being the main reason behind making SS, also how he longed to walk in his father footsteps—though unlikely to admit it. "Have you spoken to any other members lately?" Zephyr seemed quite the gentleman, which Depp could relate to, but the wolf was also a pirate and some deeds were done where being a gentleman was out of the picture, he did have some manners though. The raven and dove colored male spoke of its nice scenery, giving the man a quick smirk. He admired pleasant sights, making Firefly such a nice place to place a pack.
"I've spoken to Teci, but no one else just yet. I'm still adjusting to being in a pack again."
Zephyr smiled, looking back on the memories of playing just earlier that day with the husky wolf. It'd felt good to play and be social, but now he was back to unintentional solidarity. Depp seemed to help that, but Zephyr just didn't know what was missing.
"Tomorrow is a new day. Perhaps I will find some others to get acquainted with."
The black male stood, stretching each snow socked leg out at a time. His muscles still ached from lack of use, but he didn't know Depp well enough to initiate play. It was one thing for an older wolf like Zephyr yo be so forward with a younger female, but the alpha of a pack? Surely not. So what else could the two do? The male was not yet ready to be alone, hoping to keep @Depp's company as long as he could.
"Perhaps you'd be up to a night hunt?"
A night hunt? The wolf almost scoffed, hunting was done only when needed for him. He usually had plenty of luck when it came too, catching whatever prey rather quickly and sufficiently. Except for the occasional pesky squirrel, all in all, hunting didn't come around too often. Although, he had a strange craving for crawfish it seemed, chances are that the black and white wolf wouldn't have the same desire, unfortunately. He wouldn't jump to the idea either, in case the gentlemanly brute didn't wish to feast on such a strange delicacy. He spoke of Teci, but so far none others. He wandered what this man's experience with Sen would be like, the simple thought gave him a smile. "I don't see why not," he could probably come up with excuses not to if he truly didn't want to go, but Zephyr was on a good side of Depp and he wouldn't deny such a request simply because he was in the hypest mood to hunt.
Zephyrs tail wagged behind him, his grassy eyes clearly shining with pleasure as he turned to rake them across the undergrowth. His jaws parted slightly, drawing any scents over his tongue. Was that deer? He turned almost a full circle before stalking off, keeping his pawsteps light.
"Deer, maybe? We could ambush one in its nest, but we'd have to haul ass afterwards."
The ebony male chuckled, envisioning the two big males pouncing on a deer nearest the outside of the herd, trying to keep it from waking the others. Not even for the food, but because Zephyr wanted to have fun. Why not sate both in one go? He was unaware of the thoughts running through @Depp's head. It didn't seem so odd to him, the alpha hunting. It not only drained spare energy, but could strengthen bonds between alpha and subordinate. Plus, taking even that much work from the others means they are free to do other things. Protect, patrol, or otherwise. The black and white brute was used to having a family pack, and treating each other much differently than many other packs.
Depp nodded, he usually wasn't one for big game, preferring the easily caught small mammal or fish, those didn't always require much effort, making them perfect for the captain, but he supposed the occasional deer or elk was never a bad thing—unless they failed the catch and come out tired and frustrated. Small game could never hurt you back too, that was a benefit, but large animals always had some form of fighting back. "Alright." He said with a shrug of the shoulders. Holding his "I-don't-care" attitude. If the two caught a big enough meal, perhaps they could share with other members of the pack as well.

Blegh Short post...
Zephyr trotted off into the woods, the usual bounce in his step ever present though he kept it light and quiet. Time to hunt. The ebony male loved the rush, the excitement, the power he felt from the hunt, especially larger prey. Hell, he loved anything that made his heart race and his paws burn. He fell into a stalk as he moved through the dark foliage, nearly blending into the shadows if not for his ivory socks and the snowy splash on his chest. The scent was stronger, fresher now. They grew closer, and Zephyr nearly went too far as he slipped around a bush and stopped at the edge of a small clearing. The tall brown deer were nested there, some awake and some asleep. The male held his tail up to signal a halt, hoping Depp saw before crashing into him and drawing attention.
