I summon thee @Spring

He thought about it for a while now. He had heard howls from the north west. Luna was in there but there were others besides Reek and Tavi. What was really going on? He did know that Luna wanted to join Reek and Tavi but he never thought they would stick around so close. He figured that maybe it was a good thing. He would be able to visit them easily that way. That would mean he'd be able to see Luna Reek and Tavi and see how they are all doing!

Thinking that way made him feel happier. They may be apart but it felt like everyone was kind of together in a way. He'll get to see them again that's for sure. He stretched out his legs and headed out close to the borders. Today he was going to try to catch something to eat. Then later he could ask if someone wanted to teach him something about fighting. He still needed to learn how to fight properly. His time limit was when Saena's puppies would be born. That might be sooner than he imagined. Maybe he could ask Spring or Laika this time instead of going to the Sleeping Dragons.

But first, he wanted to try to catch something. He put his nose to the ground and started to search for scents. He was in a good mood, it was basically shining out of him. His tailed wagged happily and he also had a little smile. Everything just felt like it was okay today, like he had nothing to worry about.
Spring had decided to take a walk today, to just clear her mind of... well... just everything.  She wanted to just forget the troubles of the last twoish weeks.  It was starting to trouble her, but if she took a walk maybe she could just clear her mind.  Maybe it would all just go away.  Probably not, but Spring was currently naive enough to believe that, as she just really beyond words wanted all the hurt and guilt to just go away now.  The sight of a brown furred male caught her eye.  It was Esaro.  That was good.  Although Esaro could be quite the annoyance at times, she just felt like she needed his company that brought along, his naiveness and carefreeness.

Spring started to pad in her friend’s direction.  “Hey Esaro.  How are you?”  Spring called out friendlily.  Although her words were nice and carefree, her eyes did not match.  Although her gaze was mostly neutral the slightest glimmer of anxiety, hurt and guilt shone there too.  Although it was fairly faint, as she didn’t want anyone to currently know of her troubles.
Searching and searching, he wondered what it would be this time. Rabbit? Duck? Beaver? He did find a fish once but that thing didn't smell very good. He didn't find any traces of anything (or maybe he just missed some without realizing). He stopped for a moment and looked around. Maybe there was a different way to find something without having to follow a scent. He sat down to think on it for a while. Before he could really get to thinking Spring showed up, which completely distracted from his little task.

He got back up and approached her happily. "Hello Spring. I'm doing good!" He said cheerfully. He really was doing good because he stopped trying to worry about everyone out there. They were working together so they were safe and it also meant he could see them again soon if he ever decides to visit. With that in mind he assumed that Spring was happy about that too. "Isn't it great that everyone is okay." Then he turned towards the northwest direction. "They didn't go too far from us, that means we will have a chance to see Luna and the others again."

His tail wagged happily. He was getting happier just thinking about seeing the others again. It also as if he believed they have never done anything wrong. He knows they made a mistake and were kicked out but they were still around. Maybe one day everyone will be together again!
Spring’s features darkened at the mention of Luna and the others.  Why would Esaro want to see those traitors.  Reek cheated on Saena, when she most needed him and his pups most need him.  Tavi went along with it, and Spring just found the storm gray female downright annoying.  Lunar Eclipse... it hurt her to think of her former friend.  Although she missed Luna, she knew that she would never ever make the same choice that Lunar did.  She would only leave if she had a good purpose.  In her opinion, leaving the Maplewood, to go after two wolves who had committed treason, did not strike her as the least bit enjoyable.  In her own way Lunar Eclipse had committed treason... at least in Spring’s mind.

Spring glanced away hurt.  “They left us Esaro.  Why would you want to see them?  Reek and Tavi committed treason against Saena.  Reek abounded his pups.  Now they have started a pack that is still in the Snowforest Taiga, around a days walk away.  Lun...”  Spring paused for a moment, finding it surprisingly hard to say that name.  It just made her feel so sad, but she still continued.  “Lunar Eclipse left us Esaro.  She abounded you and me, because Reek and Tavi were a higher priority... I guess... or something like that.”  Spring told her friend, hurt shinning in her gaze.  “Why would you want to see them?  They left you.”
It became obvious that Spring didn't have the same view as Esaro. He turned back towards Spring and noticed she was more sad than anything now. The only thing he figured he should do is tell her his view of all this. "I don't think they wanted to abandon us, though. It's obvious isn't it? They settled so close to us here that it's almost as if they wanted to stay with everyone." It was because of that he figured that there were still connections keeping everyone together. Mistakes were made, that was undeniable. Esaro made mistakes too but he was never kicked out for it.

He thought about what Luna said to him and ended up looking at the ground. "Luna wanted me to go with her, she said she loved me before she left. I really liked her too and I didn't want her to go but I'd prefer that she goes where she is needed than to be the one holding her back." He said with honesty. "I want to see them again because I believe they are still good wolves, I mean they all helped me in their own way. I find it hard to abandon them for their mistakes since no one abandoned me after my mistake."
Spring knew deep down that Esaro had a point, but at this point in time she felt betrayed, she was hurt and she simply didn’t want want to believe that their had been a good reason.  Was there a pretty good reason anywhere in truth and reality though anyways?  For a while Spring didn’t know what to say.  She considered saying many things, that would have good outcomes and bad.  None of them seemed to get her point across though.  Reek and Tavi.  They had done the wrong thing... but Lunar Eclipse had made a tough choice.  Maybe for the better or worse.  In the end though it was Luna’s choice though, not hers.  She had to realize that... sooner better than later.  As it all clicked together in her mind like puzzle piece solved.  Spring felt a huge, fresh wave of guilt and sorrow rush over her.  Something else caught her attention too... Esaro told her that Lunar Eclipse told him that she loved him.  That had to be one of the reasons that Esaro had defended Luna.

If only life could be simple...

Spring gaze fell to the ground, looking defeated.  “It was Luna’s choice though, I guess.”  The brown furred female murmured very quietly, almost inaudible, yet still was able to reach Esaro’s ears.  Then without any thought at all Spring blurted out a few words, full of guilt.  That she know just needed to get off of her chest.  “I miss Luna, I should have said a better goodbye.”  Spring let out.  She found a sudden spark of surprise punch her in the gut, as she realized what she had just said.  Now though she realized that that was really what she felt.  Her eyes flickered around through the dirt.  “What did you say... when Luna... when Luna told you that she loved you...?”  Spring asked still using a quiet sounding tone of voice.  The thought of love mad her think of someone.  Someone that she loved and had her own crush on... maybe it would never work out though.  The other could have their sights set on someone else anyways.
Spring quickly switched to being sad. It was Luna's choice to go out there with Reek and Tavi. Everyone needed to find their place, the difficult part was that only place could be picked. Since there was always a choice to make it was sure that there was no perfect place. But Esaro did believe that maybe he could make a perfect place for him and for others. Although the more he tired the more impossible it felt. He had no control over what happend, it all just happend without him noticing until it was too late.

The subject turned back toward the what Luna had said to him. "I didn't get a chance to say anything when she told me because she sort of kissed me then turned and ran after that." He said little shyly. If only he could understand what it meant to love someone then maybe he could tell if her really loved her or not. But what matter right now was that he missed her and wanted to be with her. He continues to hold on to the idea that he'll see her again.

Esaro was watching Spring and could tell that maybe she did care and worry about Luna. "If we can see her again then it's not really goodbye right? I really want to be all together with everyone. I also want Luna to be there when the next lesson comes, it just wouldn't be as fun without her." He remained calm and happy. Surely they could still do stuff together even if their home wasn't the same place anymore.
Spring listened as Esaro spoke.  She knew in reality though, through politics, that doing a lesson with Luna and Esaro might seem like treason to Saena.  If she ever left the Maplewood she did not want it to be through treason.  Even though she loved Esaro’s idea... she just didn’t know if it would be possible.  Already she was starting to feel insecure though with talking about this matter.

“Esaro.”  She whispered softly.  “Next time you see Luna, I want you to tell her I’m sorry.”  With that Spring began to pad away, she would tell Luna herself, but she was just too ashamed.  Maybe one day she would, but for now she wasn’t sure.  She didn’t want to know that the last conversation that she had had with Luna was an ugly argument... but she wasn’t sure that she was ready to see the place girl yet as she padded away.  “I hope you’ll forgive me Lunar Eclipse.  I’m sorry.”  Spring whispered quietly, in a murmur.  Then disappeared into the Maples.

Probably fading here.  We’ll have to start a new one soon!
Spring gave Esaro a request but he didn't understand the reason for it. Wouldn't Spring also be able to see Luna too? However if that was what she wanted him to do then he'll do his best to remember the message. With a little thought he kind of wanted Spring to tell Luna she was sorry herself. He was going to say it but Spring decided to leave already. So he ended up just saying "Okay." Before she left.

Esaro turned to face the direction of the newly formed pack. He could understand why Spring was upset and sad because in a way he was too. But he didn't regret and held on to hope of a happy future which likely explains why he was able to stay in a good mood the whole time. He started to wonder how long it would take for everyone to be happy again. Maybe to help out he should continue doing his best to make things better. Time can heal but treatments can make it faster.

Yesh definitely, but Esaro forgot to say to Luna that Spring was sorry :P
