Today Kinra had decided to carefully observe the southwest territory from a high point at the borders. She figured if there were any predators around they would only show up briefly. Instead of patrolling around she thought it would be more effective to stay in one spot for hours. She would be able to catch sight of anything that moves around out there. There were some blind spots but not to many of them.

She sat down but kept her head up high like a watch tower. It only took several minutes for her to start getting bored though. She was still determined to spot something fun to hunt down for later once she calls for others. It would great for a predator to show up soon. She was itching to hunt something dangerous but she also wanted others to be there with her just in case. She would prefer to bring Brandy and Aduin, they could use the experience.

More time passed by and she already considering going some place else in hope something would show up. Or else maybe she would just have to pick a day to go hunt for predators along with a few others, it would be faster that way but today she was just observing to see what really goes on. Doesn't seem like much really happens, or maybe they were just all hiding from her.
Mind if I join? ^__^

Valtyr had stumbled groggily from the cove in the early hours as life in the Fen began to stir. Rest had not come to him easily as every other night — unfamiliar with the habit of sleeping in a larger group. A life alone meant sleeping alone, and all the sounds of snoozing and snoring offered no reprieve from the arduous day. With bloodshot eyes and a lethargic pace, Valtyr attempted to sort out the uncomfortable crick in his back with a grumble. He stretched from downward dog into salutation of the sun, until a satisfying crack put whatever was out of place, back in.

I'll have to get used to it, I guess, the Sveijarn thought to himself. It was the pack's custom, and the new recruit wasn't interested in making waves with his new family. If this was how they did things, then he would at least give it another shot. Valtyr was a patient creature, despite his discomfort, and thought it only fair.

He ambled until a flash of silver caught his eye. One of the pack's members had perched herself on high ground. Her agouti pelt blended well among the earth. It had only been her shifting repose that alerted the young male to her presence. What was she watching for? Intruders? Prey? Orange ears pressed forward as he quietly paced towards her location, curious of her reasons.
I don't mind at all :D We can say that Val knows the Kinra goes by Lady Kinra and that she calls herself a Knight (as something that would be said in the group intro thread)

What if she decided to go out there, would something show up then? Going out there sounded better than sitting here watching everything. She started asking herself why she was on the look out for trouble instead of just seeking it out. She was hunter she could have easily found something if she looked for it. Sitting and watching was clearly a waste of time. As she thought it her gaze swiftly turned towards movement she saw that the corner of her eye. At first she was just looking at him with a neutral but suspicious look until she realized it was one of the newer members.

She accepted his presence but only relaxed her watch on him by a little bit. She hasn't figured out what the male was really capable of yet. Trying to solve that puzzle seemed like a fun thing to do, she was tired of standing watch. She had already decided to never stand watch again. That was too boring and it ends now. As Knight she did have an image to up hold so she remain in a tall but seated position and was simply looking at Valtyr and noticing a few details.

"Were your first nights here comfortable?" She ask in calm tone as he approached her. Sleeping in a group was a unique custom Sebastian has setup. She would expect that it would take time for wolves to adjust to it. She didn't have any trouble but there were some hints that Valtyr didn't sleep well. Of course there was always the possibility that it was just the way he was. Nothing did stop her from being curious to see how a new member adapts to Sebastian's policies.
Lady Kinra (ah yes, that was her name, he thought) straightened her already poised posture as he approached. She was very much like a knife: sharp, straight-edged, silver-colored, and pointed in attitude — effortlessly noble but also a bit too serious and uncharismatic for Valtyr to immediately warm up to. He noticed there was a spectrum of personalities in the Fen, ranging from the wilder Brandy to the spoft-spoken Aduin, and though he had is own preferences, a varity of color made for an interesting life.

Valtyr loped up the hill at a trot, stopping before the statuesque woman. "Ehh, not exactly," Val responded candidly as he rolled his bracken-colored shoulders in an 'everything-hurts' kind of way, "guess I'm just not used to sleeping in a group... I've been on the road a long time." He took a moment to stretch, one back leg extending with all of its toes spread apart. "Buuutttt it would really help me out if you tried to keep your snoring to a minimum," he joked with a toothy smile, pearly white teeth poking out from his sooty-colored maw.
Kinra easily found Valtyr to be amusing here. Just watching him was entertaining enough to fight her extreme boredom. She chuckled lightly to his last sentence but only because she believed he was just joking otherwise this was going to go really bad. Still it's not so surprising that he was facing discomfort when sleeping with the group. It wasn't the norms but it was something that he was going to have to adapt to if he wanted to stay here. Thinking on the matter, she wondered why she was able to easily adapt. It was almost very quick, that is the be expected as a Knight.

So as a Knight she answered. "Simply nudge them and they will stop, but you'll have to make sure you nudge the right wolf or you would lose your comfortable spot for nothing." She said as if she had actually done such thing before. She watched Valtyr with a very small grin and behind her a tail that was slightly wagging happily. Maybe this will be the end of her boredom she had caused on herself.
Valtyr chuckled at the suggestion, noting that Kinra was quick to quip a retort. "Yeah right," he guffawed. "Imagine if I woke up Sebastian in the middle of the night? He'd probably kick me out of the commune," the man remarked sarcastically, adding "maybe that would be a good thing," with a smile.

He settled on his haunches next to the silver she-wolf, peering into the dark wood. "What were you doing up here anyway?" he asked.
