This is an experimental alternative to using behind the scenes. This thread is backdated to occur on March 25th and is a single post IC announcement about what occurred in this thread. Please note that although this thread is backdated because Saena would not have waited two weeks to make this announcement, it is effective starting today (April 9th). For the purposes of doing this in a single post, I'm assuming the entire pack is present. This is a read only IC announcement and is therefore closed to replies, but can and should be referenced as having happened. Tagging for reference only, please do not reply. @Spring @Esaro @Shreya @Luke @Grace @Casmir @Laika @Desna @Chosovi @Gaia

Saena was still fuming as she stood at the head of the pack, pacing slightly with her sides swinging and her ears pressed back. Her meeting with Thuringwethil had not come to the conclusion she wanted. All she wanted for her wolves was the freedom to travel as they wished, for she knew the Phoenix wolves were disciplined enough to not challenge the claim of another pack without the word of their leader, but Thuringwethil was intent on creating problems. Saena didn't see it as herself creating tension, although that was had happened; she fully blamed the Dragon wolves for all this happening in the first place.

When the last of the pack members filed into the clearing, Saena began. "Phoenixes," she greeted them, "welcome. I have an important announcement to make." She eyed them all, then began. "I met a Dragon wolf today. I asked that we be allowed to travel freely, and allow them to travel freely, and leave one another alone without reasonable cause for tensions. My request was denied." It was funny, really, because although Reek had made an agreement, the Phoenix wolves had never gone after a Sleeping Dragon wolf on their side of the river. Saena hadn't seen one, mind you, but she didn't doubt it had happened once or twice, whilst her wolves were expected to remain on their side.

"Henceforth, we are on high alert for Dragon wolves. They are no longer permitted to cross the river and must stay in the north where they have settled, and if they insist upon it, we will drive their pack from this land. They've proven they are unwilling to co-exist with us peacefully when we have allowed them to safely make their claim." And Saena was now unwilling to co-exist with them, period. She was tired of deals that amounted to nothing but violence and the looming threat of wolves in her backyard. "The one I met smelled of smoke and rock, and perhaps they all do. If you suspect a Dragon wolf has crossed the river and been in the area, report back to me immediately so that we may take the required action."

With that, Saena flicked her muzzle and said, "that is all," and the dismissed pack dispersed, leaving her to head to her den for a nap to cool down.
