Silver had endured many problems in her life, though she was the cause of most. She was the reason her family was broken up. She was the reason why everyone hated her. She was the reason why her brother was dead. She was the reason Fawn ran off. She was the reason for everything. Why couldn't she just do something right for once?

A deep scowl was etched onto her dark lips, her silvery pelt hued with vermillion red. Her fight with a fox did not end so well, the damned thing was flexible and nipped her several times in the muzzle. Angry welts swelled round, rivers of red spilled her white fur. However, the dead thing was in her jaws, she walked around with it proudly.

However, she could feel a bit of... shame inside of her. The fox didn't need to die, did it? She didn't need to run after it, did she? Now she was thinking, Silver sat down with a heavy thump sound. Her rump rested against the grass heavily, her ears flattened as icy eyes stared down at the dead fox she dropped. She could easily crush its' skull within her jaws, her paws could break its ribcage.

But she could watch it run from afar. Well, could of. She let out a breath, it was ragged and heavy. With her mind weighing like lead in thought, she laid down. Her belly flat against the grass, her head rested atop her paws as the dead fox was to her left.
Potema was vaguely aware of the nearby "dark pack"'s presence and the history between them and her birth pack's. She was blissfully unaware of such things as she scoured the land for herbs of all sorts, returning them safely to the Dark Brotherhood's herb stores. This trip was no different as she plunged into the neighboring meadow, intent on gathering the medicinal flowers that began to bloom as spring slowly turned to summer. Already the witch had daisies and dandelions wrapped up and held tightly in her jaws, but she was sure she could fit a few more before returning back to Blackfeather Woods.

Her single eye scanned the meadow, searching intently for marigold — the golden flower would be useful for wounds...especially her brothers'. Potema didn't find any sign of the flower, instead she found a dead fox and a wolf instead. Her eyebrow raised quizzically as she absorbed the scene: fox vs. wolf; fox lost, but not without dealing damage. The red welts on the other white female's (she was meeting a lot of those lately, wasn't she?) pelt were obvious, burning bright and angry as the woman breathed over the fox's corpse. Potema stepped forward curiously, then dropped the bundle of flowers to her feet as she spoke in a lazy, slightly condescending drawl. If you're just going to stare at it, I'll take it. A fox's pelt could easily be used for a bag to transport herbs when she went out on excursions like this.
It appeared that she was not alone, for the presence and scent of another made Silver lift her gaze off of the fox and look up towards the owner of the voice. Her visage was eerie, beneath on of her eyes was a blood trail, her eyes seemed to be death-like milky, Silver was almost intimidated by the presence of this one.

Her tone wasn't very open to Silver, but she probably looked funny. Staring at a dead fox such as this, she had killed many before. Why was this one different? "Take it, I have no need for it then" she replied, hastily sitting up and grabbing the fox before tossing it lightly over to the other's paws.

"Your scent is one I have smelt before, you smell like one of my neighbors" she said lightly, sitting up and looking over the other.
Being vague with meeting Malice

Potema smirked slightly as the fox's carcass was tossed towards her. She gathered it towards her, knowing that the little vulpine's pelt would be useful as a bag of sorts. It would take a lot of preparation, but it would be useful, wouldn't it? She looked up at the scarred woman, breathing in her scent just as the other did to her. Her ears cocked at the words and she began to recognize the scent. I've met one of your members, I think. She said, thinking back to the dark woman in the brambles. Dark brown and gray, yellow eyes with a scar over one of them, getting kind of fat? She had a sinking suspicion that the woman was impregnated thanks to her heat, but she had no idea who (and if she did she would probably scream). Sound familiar?
Ooc: So sorry for the wait!

The ghost vaguely described a pack mate of Silver, she had to think for a moment. Grey and dark brown, scarred yellow eyes, kind of chunky. Ah, it was Malice!

The silhouette hadn't seen he alpha to observe weight gain, but she did know about the scar. Supposedly it was from one of their own, Silver would be sure to pay the Coywolf a visit.

Ah, you must mean Malice. She's the alpha of Moonlit Hills. I haven't noticed her gaining weight, but if she did, I bet someone got her pregnant.

She wasn't trash talking Malice, she was merely stating the facts of her observations. Or at least, what she saw.
Malice. That was her name, right? Potema pawed the fox carcass absentmindedly as she thought. So she is pregnant then? I thought so. Like the other members of the two packs, she was unaware that Malice was carrying Burke's latest (andhopefullyfinal) litter. With limited knowledge of Moonlit Hills, she had to assume that there was an alpha male...or it was someone else. How scandalous! (Mephalaapproves). So she has a mate then? Doesn't explain why I found her so far away from Phantom Hollow. She flopped the fox over, observing the state of its pelt. It could work as a pelt-bag, couldn't it? Or is there someone else...? Some lucky boy in your pack knocked up the alpha? She said with a smirk, still looking downwards.
She must've had some good eyesight in those milky irises, Malice was getting a bit chunky. The birth of pups was exciting to Silver, she wouldn't mind helping raise them to be protecting little warriors. She did wonder about the birth of them though, along with the identity of the father. Cogitemus was gone, and he couldn't have made Malice take him back.

Issun was too young, and Silver doubted the coywolf took a chance with the alpha. She thought of the other leader, Burke since the white wolfess did speak of Malice being away from the hollow. Silver tilted her head in curiosity. No males in our pack can produce children. Her old mate had left for no reason, so I wouldn't know who the lucky boy or man is.
Potema was intrigued by the situation: an absentee alpha male and a pregnant alpha female? Sounded like something she would be interested in. The witch looked up at the female, prying as much as she could out of her. Then she would know who the father is, if the males of your pack attempted or succeeded in claiming her. She hasn't told you who she thought it was? It must be someone in the area. Had she known the depths of the relationship between her pack and Malice's she would have suspected in an instant, but for now she thought of loners or even other pack members. Naively she tossed all thoughts of her own packmates aside. They would never! Anyone you suspect?
This woman seemed intrigued by Silver's remarks. She didn't fully trust her, but a little info would never hurt. She gave her a thoughtful look, trying to rack her own brain before coming up with a terrible answer. "I'm afraid I can't suspect anyone, for I do not know any mature men" she replied, her answer as honest as possible. She hasn't told us anything, so I cannot say whether she's just put on pounds or is pregnant" she finished, looking around the area once more.
I'll post an ending here @Silver but if you want to tack on a finishing post go ahead

That only intrigued her further, though she knew little of their neighboring pack. The woman's hesitation only made this juicier. She snorted, hiding a smile as she dipped forth and snatched the fox in her jaws once more. Well, I hope this little mishap is resolved smoothly. Wouldn't be good if the alpha is bearing a random wolf's spawn. Her speech was muffled, but clear enough for her audience to hear. She nodded as a farewell, then turned tail towards her dark forest and left, knowing that her goddess would be pleased by the intrigue.
