Sitiyok made no attempt to mask his approach to the distant fringe of the borders. The scent of the woodland wolves was nearly overpowering, even this far out, so he knew better than to slink around in the undergrowth like a snake. He carried with him a rib of an elk snapped off a bear kill. It was mostly clean, save for a rich bit of meat and gristle at the base; perfect for children, or elder wolves in need of sustenance. A smile kissed his lips, only for a moment, before fading again into obscurity. He wondered what he would encounter here; if the merit of these wolves would be worth the warnings on the border.
Gaia had been relatively quiet since her arrival – it wasn’t that she did not wish to prove herself to Saena, simply that the woman had birthed her puppies, and she in turn had taken to a quiet approach at her duties and out of the way of many.

Today, this more silent approach was to maintain the borders – and dutifully, the pale woman would stop every so often, leaving her scent before trailing forward, allowing the beauty of the spring day to cheer her soul. Soft creams and gold glinted in the sunlight, and poised above all else, the girl cast her mint-colored eyes in the direction the wind teased her toward – having not quite considered the fact she might actually come upon another.

A moment of hesitation spurned her to drift away. To allow one of the more experienced members to deal with whatever rogue saw fit to traipse their borders (nevermind she had been such a lone wolf only weeks ago) – and yet swallowing, the girl hedged forward, her stride smooth as she attempted to eradicate any nervousness from her posture.

He was respectful of their borders thus far, and as she neared, noted the bone and meat within his jaws. “Hello,” she offered, her tone soft as she studied him quietly.
Chosovi was a bit more wary, heading to the borders now. After Reek had visited she felt she ought to double down, in case he thought to return violently. Who knew? Chosovi was content to play the look out, but really wasn't good for too much else. She handled everything fine as back-up but Chosovi was no leader in these kinds of situations.

The scent of another at the borders had her moving there lickety split. Before her was a beautiful lady who had greeted the guy first and then a really good looking dude. Chosovi was quite glad she had settled in the Teekon Wilds, where there was no shortage of studs. Even so, with the potential of Reek lurking, Chosovi wanted to cut it to the quick here. Hey-oo. You lookin' to join, tall dark and handsome? Or just here for a visit? She slid alongside the shyer Gaia, offering her a warm nip, as though they were lifelong friends and not pack mates that had just met. The sentiment was true at least; Chosovi would have Gaia's back.
Not one, but two females came to greet him. The first was lithe, possessing a grace that reminded him of his sister. She was soft-spoken and quite attractive. The second was more forward; drawling out a greeting which warmed his core like liquid gold. He dropped the bone at his feet and nosed it towards the women, "a gift." He rumbled with a lazy wag of his bottle-brush tail. Had he been of a more romantic persuasion, this situation would have been perfect for him to steal away with the both of them. Thankfully, or perhaps not so, he was not so inclined to invoke the ire of their leaders for a romp in the hay.

"Unfortunately," he drew out the syllables and canted his head a tick to the left; towards Chosovi. "just visiting. However, I was hoping to learn a bit about my neighbors and your home."
One ear flickered at the sound of paw falls, and casting her spring eyes back to the oncoming figure, she noted she did not recognize the woman – a soft agouti pelt and pale brown eyes. It was not perhaps the woman’s soft good looks that intrigued Gaia, but the relaxed nature in which she spoke to the man – referring to him as openly handsome.

Gaia had never seen what she had considered as open flirtations in her young life, and she felt her heart quicken in both discomfort and allure. To be so bold!

At the question posed to the man, Gaia allowed her eyes to drift back to the stranger once more, regarding the bone he dropped to them both. It would have seemed to be a token to gaining foot within their ranks – but then he surprised her by claiming he was only visiting. “This is quite the gift from a lone wolf who has no pack to help feed him,” she offered, her tone soft, and yet she could not keep the suspicions from her voice. “You only seek information?”
Gonna keep going with this since it's been two weeks. Feel free to hop back in Chosovi!

Sitiyok knew his actions were suspicious, but it didn't stop him. He wanted to know more, and maybe find out where Aya was hiding.

"And no one to care for." He remarked, tailing onto the pale she-wolf's probe. He didn't know for certain if this pack had little ones, but the time of year was ripe for new birth. It was only an assumption, but he felt it might be a pretty accurate one. One ear twisted back and he glanced, again, to the now silent Chosovi. Perhaps she was embarassed by her bold words before?

"My sister has come through here." He admitted, the piercing expression softening a bit. "I've taken up a den near the Glacier until she returns to me. In the meantime, I'm hoping to find a suitable home but I am not wont to throw our lot in blindly." He was lying through his teeth, but one would be hard pressed to see it. "She is very dear to me and I am not of a mind to see her harmed."

"Hence, why I am offering this food for a peaceful exchange of information."
His words made no sense – at least not to the pale she-wolf, who could only regard him rather quizzically. The puppies of Saena had a pack to feed them – he only had himself to rely upon. She did not argue it though, and while she felt her suspicions flare at the possibility of tainted meat being presented, Gaia offered a nod, pretending to agree silently with him. Later, after their conversation, she would be sure to take the meat out of the territory and bury it elsewhere – he seemed amicable enough, but she would not risk the chance.

“Who would harm her?” Again, she was confused by his words, and the girl cast her mint eyes upon Chosovi for a stolen moment, though the silver girl had fallen silent for now. “And what information do you seek?”
She watched him for any tells, but couldn't find any. He couldn't be lying. Good looking fellas hardly had the skill. Well, we've not seen any sisters looking for their good-looking brothers in the area. I can tell you that much. We're a peaceful pack, but we're also a pack of murderers for hire. So if we're threatened, we know how to handle it. It was all said with a lazy smirk and she moved to circle him loosely. You ever kill a man before? We gotta know, if you want in. You gotta have that particular skillset.
Fading this here?
Gaia wasn’t sure of what Chosovi’s motivation was – but the girl’s rambles continued onward, and when the silver girl mentioned killing a man, it would seem the dark wolf had come to the conclusion he would engage in the serious conversation as he truly sought. Taking his leave, Gaia watched him go, slightly perplexed, and cast a rueful gaze upon the meat offered with no hint of trust.

“I don’t trust it – I’m going to go discard this somewhere.” With that, the pale honeyed girl scooped up the morsel in her mouth, inwardly fretting that it was indeed laced with poison somehow before she tracked outside of the pack borders where she would dump the ‘gift.’ She didn’t even look back when she traipsed back to her pack lands, rounding along to make sure the stranger had indeed gone from their lands.
