To @Kunik and whomever will be joining Warbones coming pack and wants to meet/bond with Nova

It wasn't long after shed been brought to the willowy territory by Warbone, and she was out exploring what was, apparently, to be her home. She wondered briefly where her alpha was, still shuddering at even the thought if the word. ALPHA. Never before had she SERVED another, and so this would be a first. Shed been in and out of a few packs, but too many commanded her respect without giving, and so it was not to be. The lack of stinging in the wounds covering her face, neck, and chest were a reminder of his help, and her pledge to him.
Oh well, there was a first for everything. She just hoped Warbone would not become like the alphas before, running his pack with the respect his wolves deserved- or not, rather. Some wolves simply did not earn respect, and expected it to be handed out. Nova was not such a wolf, being one who gave back what she got.
Opening her mouth to scent, she looked for other wolves in the willows. Warbone had made it very clear nobody who didn't plan on obeying and following him as their alpha was to be sent away, with claws and teeth if needed. Nova was sure she could handle sending out some wolves, so long as there were no PROLONGED fights. The ginger and cream female was aging well, but was at the point where anything past a border scuffle was too much. Her ghostly blue eyes sweeped through the willow vines, such simple little things she seemed to enjoy. Willows were her favorite tree, and she stopped to inhale ones scent before going on with her adventure.
Kunik cocked a brow at the elder who came strolling through the small clearing she was currently resting in. She sat the bone she had been knawing on down, sniffing the air delicately to familarize herself with the woman's scent. She had nothing against older wolves but she was surprised Warbone had taken one in. He seemed like the type to want a horde of young, strong wolves to be his subordinates. It was likely this elderly woman would be pushed to the bottom of the food chain should Warbone's pack have rank challenges.

She rose to her feet silently, padding towards the woman with a neutral stance. They had no rankings yet, thus this woman was owed no submission nor did Kunik expect it of her. She siddled up next to the lightly wounded wolf, feet falling in tune with her slow steps.

Her taurine eyes shifted over to glance at the cream and ginger woman. "Hello," she chuffed softly as they walked, eyes returning to the forest in front of them once more.
Company? Well alright. Nova pushed her way into a clearing towards a young brown female, and smiled at her. She kept her senses alert, in case this stranger wasn't so friendly. She came at her evenly, not giving or expecting anything but words, it seemed. The elder scented their alpha as she grew near, and it confirmed her thoughts that she was one of the other recruits. Her cream and ginger fur lied flat and smooth, but the wounds across her front wouldn't fade until they'd healed and blended with her light colored fur. As the smaller, younger female fell into step with her, well, that was okay too. So long as she was friendly, Nova didnt mind the bonding. It helped that they had no rank yet, no need for dominance. It let them build friendships before worrying about who was higher up than who. Perhaps that would make it easier to adjust?
"Hello. You're one of Warbones recruits, I presume?"
Her ghostly silver eyes peered over to look at the other female, contentedness evident in them.
"Nova, Nova Rose. Just got here not too long ago."
"Yes, I am. I had the mistake of hunting within the territory before I knew it was soon to be claimed. He spared my life in the circumstance that I would join him-serve him as he put it," she shrugged gracefully as if to say 'What can you do?'

"A pleasure to meet you Ms. Rose. I am Kunik," she greeted respectfully. Just because Nova was older than your average pack wolf did not mean she deserved less respect than Kunik. Nor did it mean that she was lesser, she most likely had her own talents and uses as did Kunik.

"How did you come across our charming Alpha?" She chuckled lightly at her own joke, Warbone had his moments but charming wasn't really a word for him. Violent or power seeking perhaps.
Nova smiled, glad that this female seemed to treat her much as Warbone did. With respect. It fueled the elders vanity and pride, pushing her to share more. Not that she wouldn't have. She caught onto her humor and chuckled, following suit.
"Our lovely alpha wandered across me not an hour after I'd gained these wounds. He offered to clean them and when I told him what use I was, he offered me santuary in order for my services. I can somewhat heal, but my trades will lie in story telling and counseling."
Kunik inclined her head in a nod, "They are good trades. I myself am interested in a Mercenary trade alongside my poisons." She watched the elder to see how she would respond as she had done Warbone. Some reacted with fear, indifference, or curiosity. Which would Nova be?

sorry it's short
Nova nodded, tipping her head and thinking for a moment. The faded gold female smiled and, tail wagging, asked politely,
"Maybe you could teach me a bit of poisons? I like to have knowledge, expand my mind. That would be lovely information to know."
She kept on walking, still scenting and patrolling her territory.
Kunik grinned widely, eager to have a pupil. "Aye, I could. Later today I will find some and we could have a lesson sometime over poisonous plants,"she planned aloud. Nova could always disagree with her, deciding against the idea and she could plan to do it some other time.

sorry it's short once more, wanna start up a new thread to do a lesson on poisons?
yeah go ahead and I'll have Nova pop in ?
Nova seemed pleased with herself and especially Kunik. The younger she wolf was adding to the golden females knowledge, something that definitely got on her good side.
"Call for me when you need me to come, and I will."
last from me, yeah just have jump in when I get it posted.

She nodded, nothing left to say. Within the confines of her mind she planned what plants to use if she could find them nearby. The two continued on, enjoying each other's company.
