@Charon : Maybe these two can meet, if you have time? :) Anyone is welcome to pop in and meet him!

Harley was making his way across the rocky ledges, purposely taking to the roughest paths and jumps. His intent was to train his body to adapt to the mountain, hardening his pads, strengthening his muscles. Even his mind gained benefits, learning the best ways to do everything in this new terrain. He wasn't in lush forests, or overgrown farmlands. The mountain was a dangerous place if you weren't careful and knew both the territory and how to react accordingly to every situation. The milky male had to admit that he was sore, finding the mighty mountain much different from his easy farm life. Soon, his muscles would develop further, define him, build him, and more than all teach him: Just what he had wanted. It was a plus that the territory was so beautiful, so appealing to him. Its mighty defiance had drawn him, up to the borders, compelled him to join its depths. Now that he had been entrusted to serve the pack, his wolfs blood seemed to drive him to train, to go and do as much as possible. But he also wanted to form close bonds with the pack too, become a family with them as much as they allowed. He'd been welcomed by the dark alpha female, and had met the grey beta, but not yet the alpha male, nor anyone else in the pack. Hel, he hadn't even found a real place to sleep yet. A bush there, a hollow log there: none of it mattered, he was in his territory, and he wanted to serve it the best he could. Already he walked confidently over the grounds, and had learned to listen through stone for movement or by sight, not by hearing. All his senses, however, would surely sharpen further and it thrilled the shepherd wolf.
The creamy white wolf studied the shepherd mix from below, final choosing to chuff at him. She flashed a smile. "Are you one of Moonspear?" she called from below, pink tongue lolling in a friendly way. It would not hurt to have another ally in the pack, she was delta after all. "Name's Aloe. Pleasure to meet you." She barked. Her tail wagged lazily.
A grin spread across her lips, hoping he would climb down to meet her. She felt so lonely after Wifi had left, so was on her own. A conversationalist should not be quiet, and so she felt she should not be. She needed a best friend, somebody to protect and to share meals with. Maybe this wolf could be her answer..?
Harley turned his amber gaze down to a long furred creamy female, and his breath caught in his throat. She was pretty, and seemed very kind. Why not go down? He picked his way carefully, being sure he wouldn't hurt himself. When he was finally down And padding closer, he smiled shyly And wagged his tail at her.
"I am new, but I am of Moonspear. Harley, and its nice to meet you as well."
He had thoughts that mirrored her own, wondering if this wolf in front of him could be his friend.
" Where do you come from?" she smiled and sat back on her pale haunches, baby-blue eyes finding his ambers. She wondered of his origins and strange yet attractive coat. He was really quite handsome. She smiled and thrummed(purred) lightly, wondering what his thoughts were.
I am so sorry for both the wait and the so gosh darn short post! XP
Harley gave a shy smile, chuckling slightly. He couldnt break eye contact with her, enthralled as he was. So far, everyone had seemed politely curious of his heritage. That was okay with him, he loved stories and didn't mind the questions. His shepherd blood drove him to please, and it made his life a lot easier. She was pretty, too, and maybe that had something to do with the ease of which the story tumbled from his tongue.
"My mom was a wolf from somewhere here in the Teekons, but my dad is a German Shepherd. He lived most of his life a stray, not depending on humans, so when my mom came to birth us and leave, he was able to raise us alongside our aunt. We lived on an abandoned human farm as a sort of pack, where he was born. Had a pretty big family but it was a lot of room so it worked.... They're all likely still there, honestly. I came out here to learn how to live like a wolf, rather than a stray. I must say, I'm starting to think it was my best idea ever."
