The meadow was beautiful, and Aria honestly could have guessed it's name. After a bit of exploring, she found an abundance of wild berries, each beginning their bloom. Some had matured faster than others, leaving for an array of flowery bushes and sweet berries. The snowy princess knew her berries-- she was well aware of the difference between poisonous ones and safe ones. She sniffed the bushes curiously, coming upon a particularly yummy patch of blackberries. Her tail wagged, and the pale girl pulled some off carefully with her teeth to eat, avoiding the small pricks on the stems of the bush. Her white coat stood out tremendously, but she was at least sort of hidden among the wild bushes.
Yaay!

It had been some time since the queen had been in the meadow. Last time, she had found Nemesis here. Maybe that was part of the reason why she didn't come here all that often. She knew of the berries though, and the lovely soothing smell of flowers mixed with a sour berry one. Today she had been pregnant for almost half a month, and it was becoming clearer and clearer that she would bring life onto this planet. It excited her, yet all the signs didn't. Oh, how she hated being pregnant.

Thanks a lot, Burke... She mumbled as she got out of her den. She was craving berries, and today seemed like a nice day. She stretched her massive body, her back only a bit sore. She sighed loudly, and started making her way to the border of her land. With some hesitation, she left her sanctuary.

She trotted happily through the meadow, taking in the view and the scent. Here, she felt like a pup again. Oh, how her children would love going here, she thought. But all her happy thoughts ended as she saw a stark white female in the distance. Her tail raised automatically and she wore the scent of a Moonlit Wolf proudly. Her scarred face looked upon the stranger, snapping berries carefully off a twig. She raised an eyebrow. Hello? She asked.
The scent of a stranger soon came to her nose and she raised her head. Aria looked up to the see gray figure of a female who homed a swollen belly and a scarred face-- an interesting combination, she thought. The girl stood, watching the female but careful not to make eye contact. "Afternoon," she replied quietly, her white eyes studying the other curiously. Pregnant-- she even smelled like pups. She wondered by who-- like she'd know-- and how many, and when... but all were questions she couldn't really ask a stranger.

"Do you live nearby?" she then asked, shifting her white paws. Her lips were stained with the dark crimson juice of blackberries, but they only made her face that more intriguing. She had no scars on her pure white face, but along her shoulder she had a deep one. She wondered how the other got her scars.
Muscles relaxed as the stranger spoke, immediately seeing that she was no threat. Or perhaps a trick really good with lying and sounding innocent. with her aching back, Malice sat down, right on top of a bush that had some nasty thorns in it. It stung like a bee, and she jumped up. Fuck! She called out. egghead, she cursed at herself. With a grumpy face she looked at the darn bush, for a moment forgetting that she was not alone. With her hind legs, she stomped on the bush that had actually done nothing wrong.

As soon as she was done with that, she sat down somewhere else, this time seeking a nicer spot. She snorted softly in annoyance, not because of the white female of course. She was just in time to hear the other's question, which wasn't a hard one to answer. She nodded, her face slowly going to a soft smile of a mother-to-be. After that, she pointed to the forest behind her with her muzzle. Phantom Hollow, riiiight there. She informed. She looked back at the pale woman, noticing the berry juice. It stood out mostly because of her spotless white coat. You got something there. She said, wiping on her own muzzle with one of her paws as gracefully as possible.

You? She returned the question. It was only fair for her to know where she came from, right?
"Careful..." Aria murmured as the other came closer again. She'd already sat in a bundle of briars, she hoped she wouldn't do it again. "Blackberry plants have thorns," she added, glancing to the plant that she was harvesting from. The woman responded with her home, and the white girl looked in that direction. Phantom Hollow-- an eerie name, Aria liked it.

When pointed on she had something on her mouth, she only shrugged. "Everything shows up on white," she replied nonchalantly, clearing unbothered by the red. "I'll get to it later,"

"I come from Donnelaith," she then said, looking back towards where she'd come. "I'm down this way for exploration purposes," she explained.
Hah, Malice didn't know if she had meant it dryly or not, but it still made her chuckle. A true sound of joy, yet eerie somehow. No shit. She joked, her butt finally feeling a little better. Damn, she feared this action would probably end up in paranoia. Now she couldn't sit anymore without checking if there were no sharp things on the ground. She watched as the other checked the forest of the Moonlit wolves out, and the queen almost sparkled with pride. She found the quiet forest to be one of the most interesting places she had ever been to.

The other -who she still didn't know the name of, but was considering just calling her Red Stained- had a point. Malice couldn't really relate to the problem though, her coat being so dark that any kind of color probably wouldn't really stand out. Well, except the snow and some of the really green, emerald like leaves. It actually looks kind of bad ass, almost like blood. She commented. She wasn't lying though, was almost incapable of sinning like that in this kind of conversations.

Donnelaith? Is this a group or a place? Whatever it was, it had a nice ring to it. It was probably too far for her to travel to right now -there being things made inside her belly and all- but perhaps she would explore the coast after her kids were old enough to fend for themselves. Well, there's a lot to explore here. She said, knowing the flatlands were full of wonderful things. May I know your name?
The girl smiled, her face feeling a little heated. Badass-- that was a term she'd never been called before. She kind of liked it, but in a weird way. She was anything but-- gracefully intimidating if anything. Aria shrugged a little, but smiled still.

"It's both. The name of my pack, we live in The Sentinels up north. Donnelaith is the name of our alpha's former home," she explained, careful still not to give out any important information. "My name is Aria, member of the January family," she then replied, chest puffing out slightly. She would always be proud of her name, regardless of whatever past she had endured. "May I ask of yours?"
Huh, the other was being pretty humble. Perhaps, yes, she looked like a goody-two-shoes angel, but Malice would not let looks make someone. Who knew what this wolf was capable of. Maybe she was a trickster, an assassin reeling her in to then dispose of her.

Huh, got a nice ring to it. She commented again. She was getting awfully good at making small talk. Maybe it was the feelings she getting, the feelings of a to-be mother. The queen didn't recognize the other's name, but that wasn't a surprise. There were so many wolves here, it was hard to keep up with everyone (Especially keeping up with the drama for all the wolf users).

It was only fair to give her own name as well. Malice Lanius, daughter of Lucifer. Nice meeting you. The name rolled off her tongue like honey. She had perfected the art of introducing herself, she knew. But now, she had a small little plan. Would Red Stained know anything about the Dark Brotherhood. Do you know of the Blackfeather wolves? If she didn't, that wouldn't be a surprise. She lived at the coast after all.
"It's a wonderful place," Aria agreed, nodding. The other introduced herself as the daughter of Lucifer, someone who Aria had never heard of. Her religion did not lie with any sort of heaven or hell, but instead with the universe. Everything had a soul-- as Osprey had called it-- and therefore everything could be worshipped. She did not understand that Lucifer was generally referred to as a demon, or a devil, and Aria didn't really know those terms anyway. She nodded, deciding the other's name had a nice ring to it, and moved on.

She squinted, thinking carefully about Blackfeather. She did not know any first named Blackfeather... but she wondered if that was the place with the slightly... off... wolves. She had heard of a back that was not extremely friendly, more hostile if anything. But she'd never heard of a name for them-- or if they were even a real pack. She shook her head. "Never the name-- perhaps the pack?" she offered, wondering if this woman would give her more information.
"Wanna know how I got these scarrrs?" XD

She watched the other as she was obviously thinking about something. Perhaps she knew indeed something about the Dark Brotherhood. But Malice was careful not to call it that, following Sebastian's advice. She smiled when she thought of him, how he would be her children's half brother. Would that be weird for him? Would he even come and see them?

It is a pack. She confirmed, not telling that much, too careful not to spill any important info about them. She suddenly got a wonderful, awful idea. Why not let Aria here check it out for herself? Surely nothing would happen. If you really want to explore, I would suggest you check the Blackfeather Woods out. Very... Interesting wolves there who can maybe help you with your exploring. She said.
Aria smiled, weakly, and nodded. If this was the pack she'd heard anything about, it was nowhere she'd like to go-- but Malice seemed a bit off after mentioning the pack, so she did not argue or hesitate. "Perhaps," she agreed, shrugging her shoulders. "Perhaps I will visit upon my way back," she informed the other, but had no plans to travel back this way. "Thank you, Malice," she dipped her head.

The pale girl then stood, glancing around curiously. "I suppose I'd better be on my way, I only stopped for a snack," she informed the other, her tail wagging. "Thank you for your knowledge, you have been very kind. Donnelaith is Northwest of here, if you ever find you need something-- ask for me," she added, and with that, was off.

last from me! unless you need to continue, but i felt this was a decent stopping point. aria would've felt unsafe and left. (:
