A strange bird has been sighted near the glacier just outside of the territory. While it does not pose much of a threat because of its distance from the grotto, it may migrate closer if it is not observed or scared off. It is a very large hawk - similar to a golden eagle in size - and has been sighted getting closer by the day.
Warrior: Kill the hawk!

Reek had warned the Grotto wolves of a strange bird-- a hawk-- living just outside the territory. Jhala had no problems with birds, but according to Reek this thing was huge and was a possible threat to the pack. Growing fonder each day of Reek and his Grotto, Jhala wasted no time in calling to her packmates to go out to destroy the bird. She waited at the edge of the border-- near the glacier-- and waited for someone to join her. Once someone did, they were off to make it pay for coming to close. There was no way in hell that she would ever let the creature get too close, she'd not let anything happen to her precious grotto or the wolves that inhabited it.

tagging for visibility and possible joiners!! everyone is welcome though (: looking for one or two others (: @Reek @Aspen @Skeet @Lilac
Let's do this!

Hearing the howl of Jhala, Skeet made sure to make his way over quickly. It sounded urgent, something about a bird being too close for comfort. Seeing the girl herself, the charming boy came in with a somewhat serious yet chill expression. He nudged her shoulder with his own before offering a smile. 'What's bothering ya Jhala?' he asked curiously, before seeing how they were close to the border. He looked around the area to see if any animals were close, wolves or not.
"There's a bird somewhere," she tells him quickly, returning his nudge with a friendly affection. "Reek was talkin' bout it the other day-- I don't want it to get too close to the Grotto," she adds, her tail held stiffly behind her. "Imma kill it," was all the dark gamma gave as mission, the only plan she could think of. She was not great at leading into situations without a full fledged plans-- or coming up with said plans-- but she knew the Grotto was not completely safe until this bird was gone, and she would act upon that.
Aspen was trailing the borders when a howl came from a rather unfamiliar wolf. Perhaps she had not met the female that was calling for some assistance. What better time to meet a pack mate than to help them with a task. The call came from slightly beyond pack borders which made Aspen more curious but as she trotted in the direction she came upon a she wolf and another wolf whom she had come to know as Skeet. She dipped her head in greeting but she could tell they had already been discussing the issue.

Aspen wondered if there was some sort of threat that had the she wolf worried for the safety of the pack but nothing came to the slender wolf's immediate attention.

"Sorry, I'm a bit late to the party," Aspen spoke in an apologetic tone. " I would be glad to offer my assistance in any way that I can," she stated even though she didn't entirely know what the task was she was sure the three of them could handle it.
All the fuss over a god damn bird? Welp, Skeet wasn't doing anything important at the moment, so why the hell not? He looked over to the gamma with a smile and nodded his head. "Not if i kill 't first" he said to her, though he saw Aspen come along and join the party. She offered her assistance, something Skeet was happy to hear.

He smiled at Aspen before looking at Jhala. "Let's get going then if we want to get it before it lays some big ass eggs or some shit like that" he joked, looking around the area before locking his eyes out of the territory.
Another arrives, and Jhala's tail begins to wag. "Sweet! You're not late-- we haven't left yet it's cool," she tells her, but then pauses. "Uh-- I don't think we've met, 'm Jhala," she tells to other, her ears perking. She glances back to Skeet, a smile rolling onto her mouth. "Damn, that'd be bad. We'd, like, have a bunch of birds to deal with then," she adds on. She knew said bird would defiantly be a threat. It was so huge! It'd probably eat all of their prey, and they had no time for that.

"You guys ready'ta go? Apparently it's up by the glacier or somethin',"
Aspen smiled as the unfamiliar wolf acknowledged that was she was there and that she hadn't been late. She introduced herself as Jhala realizing the two hadn't met then went on to reply to Skeet's comment about this bird ending up having eggs. So this was a bird we were facing. Shouldn't be a problem, or could it. "My name is Aspen," she said with a respectful smile realizing this wolf was of a high rank in the pack.

Jhala explained apparently this bird had been seen up in the glacier near the pack borders. Aspen figured if Jhala wanted to do something with this bird it was probably of some threat to the safety of the Larksong wolves. "Ready when you are," she poke with a nod glancing at Skeet waiting upon his response.

Sorry for the late reply .-. I've been busy.
Jhala had to introfuce herself to Aspen shortly, her smile never really fading. Skeet liked both of these woman, and it wasn't just lust or their pretty looks. Both were well-rounded, pretty resourceful, and looked out for one another. He truly liked them for personality (and maybe a little bit of 'action' later).

He gave a sharp nod to Jhala, signaling he was ready to go. "I can't wait to grab that damn bird" he said heartily, laughing a bit before looking towards the both and awaiting to follow.
The girl nodded, letting out a short yip and a jerk of her head. She set off towards the glacier-- which wasn't far to begin with-- and led the two towards the bird. Along the way she tried to pick up its scent, which actually became easier the closer they became. She found it was pretty much everywhere... she just hoped it was somewhere on the ground for now. She looked to her hunting partners. "Anything?" she asked them.

short pp to get them going!
