Activity to go along with the BWP. This isn't mandatory, and has no solid posting order. Make sure you don't exceed 3 posts per person when posting back-to-back, though. The goal is to find some place to hide from the bugs in, maybe eating a few in the process, aha. ^^

Sen had been within the territory for awhile now, having yet to decide where she might go next. Though she had been loath to admit it at first, she could no longer deny that traveling was becoming increasingly difficult. There were certain areas she just couldn't go to, lest she be interested in tiring herself out right away. The little beasts growing within her womb were sucking the life right out of her, or so was what she very strongly believed. Thus, she'd taken to just loitering around within the territory for awhile, pacing on occasion and watching out for others. The distant humming hadn't registered within her mind at first, her attention lying elsewhere. Even as it grew, she'd not noticed, for once being entirely oblivious to that which surrounded her. Especially so was the case when she felt something move within her—rather, that was the only thing she could describe it as being. The feeling was foreign to her, making her turn to glance at her own sides. "What the–" She was cut off but the hum, which had grown considerably in volume.

She had turned once more, then, and was suddenly engulfed by a wave of locust.

"What the fuck?!" she'd shouted, attempting to move out of their way and into a more sheltered location. Of course, she had failed, contributing even more to her streak of awful luck. The little bugs would attempt to cling to her, which would make her head dart forward and nip at them, eating a few of the more persistent ones. Was the world ending? Probably—well, she hoped so. That would save her the trouble of birthing a hoard of little heathens. Still, if the world was ending, she wasn't going to be taken out but a lot of pests. No, they wouldn't be the thing to end her. Thus, she'd proceeded to move through the territory, seeking out no one in particular so that they might assist in finding an enclosed space to wait out the storm of bugs in.
Lucky, for once Zephyr was in the territory. Just only though, he'd only just come back from a few days gone. In his jaws were clamped two pretty blue flowers, one for each of his girls. The giant ebony male was already in the process of looking for Lyric and Rain when the incessant buzzing drew his attention. What in the world was that? He turned and saw the massive black cloud looming over the trees and blotting out the sky, letting out a low growl. He was familiar with what the locusts could do but had never seen them in such large proportions. A howl ripped through his throat and around the wildflowers for the females he'd been looking for already, taking off running towards their scents. Why bother looking for a place of safety if they themselves weren't safe? A life without them hardly mattered, for they were his new motivations in life. To find and build a home for THEM. He could vaguely scent Sen, but she wasn't the one he was looking for. Despite being the alpha, he didn't think she'd even want help. If he so much as tried to protect her, the dark female would likely have his ass....
Busy in the clearing, she and Rain were playing in the feathery grass, As She let Rain pin her to the ground, something startled her, A warning call, a howl from what she could hear was from Zephyr, it sounded urgent, so she gently pushed Rain off of her and stood up tall to understand what was going on.When a buzz from behind them began to rumble, quickly following were a dark cloud of insects. Locusts.
She had know them well from her past territory as they were fairly common there, but this was ridiculous, There must be millions! Glad Rain was small for her age, she grabbed her by the scruff and made a run in the opposite direction. Realising what was going on, Rain struggled and screamed, the last thing she needed right now was her having a panic attack. Quickly she picked up on a scent, Zephyr's she recognised.
Rain's weight making her back buckle, she was relieved to see Zephyr across from them as she dropped her to the ground, then arching over her. Rain was shaking and crying, this was not good for her anxiety.
'ZEPHYR! What the fuck is going on? Come here, I need your help!' Dragging herself and Rain closer, her face now wincing from the blow of locust breezing past her face, she pushed Rain towards him, who was still sobbing frantically.
'We need to find shelter, NOW! Rain cannot walk in this state, I need you carry her for me, I'll scout around for some sort of shelter from this shit.'
Kissing Rain gently on her head, she whispered softly through the intense buzzing.
'It's ok honey, Mommy will back in a second, I'm gonna find some protection against this ok? ' Rain didn't respond, only clinging to Zephyr in hope that she could block out the noise.
Turning to him, She spoke over the deafening sound.
'Follow me!'
NO. BAD. TOO MUCH NOISE. DON'T LIKE IT. STOP. STop. STOP.
Crying into the warmth of Zephyr's coat, Rain wanted nothing but to be away from here, the bugs were hitting her face and making a scary humming noise, all she could do was sob and make herself as small as she could so they would be less of her to be hit by the locusts.
STOP< MAKE THEM STOP. DON'T WANT. HELP HELP HELP. NO no.
Holding onto Zephyr violently, she attempted to shelter herself from the blast as much as she could.
Relief washed over Zephyr as the girls appeared, but at once he knew something was wrong. Lyric was struggling to carry a hysterical Rain, and they both pressed close. He couldn't be sure if something else had spooked the girl, but there was no time to ask. The pale ginger female was trying to calm her daughter, but it didn't seem to be working. She asked for his help, and he lowered the flowers to her. Fear threatened him, but the ebony wolf couldn't lose his cool now. He nuzzled her cheek softly, dropping the blue plants at her paws.
"Rain sweetie, I want you to take care of these flowers, okay? They're for you and your mama, but I have to carry you. Dont worry, I'll take care of you two."
He waited a second to make sure she was okay with this before grasping her scruff. Lyric was taking matters into her own paws, thankfully, and was soon urging him to go. He lifted Rain easily, for now, but knew even he couldn't support the wolfdog long. He tried his best to keep her above his legs as to not bump her every step, but it got harder each pace. She would have to deal with it, he thought, the mere touch being a lot better than trying to have her run with them in her state. The long, winding slash across his muzzle was starting to bleed a little bit. Obviously it was one he'd picked up on his last journey away from him, or maybe one or two before. Though mostly healed, it had obviously been pretty bad at first. A couple of the bugs were clinging to Zephyr, trying to find something on him they could eat. Oh please dont find the flowers!
They were everywhere. The bugs swarmed in huge drones, the sound of their wings a symphony in the air that made her fear more immense as a result.

Confusion racked Teci's brain, she was caught between trying to find her family and trying to find her Alphas so she might ask them what was wrong. She eventually decided to find her family, body down as far as a possible as she ran for she didn't want the bugs on her.

When she finally came across them, nearly crashing into Lyric as she led Zpehyr who held Rain by her scruff. She didn't speak, moving to stay beside Zephyr in case Rain became too heavy to hold.
Blows after blows of insects hit her face as she ran, Nodding towards Teci as she saw her arrive to the scene.
Lyric knew exactly where she was going, their own dens would be no use, most covered in greenery they would be infected by the beasts. Rain was the one who founded it actually. They were exploring through the forest when they had come across a small pond against a large rock face slightly covered in vine and moss. Deciding to take a swim, Rain discovered a cave entrance underneath the moss shadowing. It was large enough to fit them for a short time and would protect them from the blast of locusts. It was perfect. Galloping faster, she came across Sen, who seemed to be attacking the pests around her.

'Sen! I know a place where we can shelter from this shit, follow me, it's closer than our dens.'  Not wanting to pause for too long, she returned to finding the shelter. Minutes later, she saw it through the woods, letting out a howl for the others, she began to wade through the water, feeling disgusted when seeing many dead locusts floating on top like a revolting film. Struggling onto the cave floor, she called out to her family.
'Over here! It's big enough for us all!'
The scent of the flowers calmed Rain, deciding to make it her duty to take care of them. When another surge of panic hit her, she inhaled the flowers scent and pollen, the smell reassuring her. Seeing Teci also soothed her, and she smiled weakly towards her sister through her fast pant and hiccups. Seeing her Mother had decided to take shelter in the cave she'd found days earlier, she couldn't help but feel proud that she was using it.
Smiling at Rain when she noticed the other wolfdog, Teci continued to run. Spotting Sen who was furiously trying to fight off the bugs. She might have laughed if she weren't so confused and scared of the insects.

She stopped beside the opening, awaiting the others to go in. She gestured for them to hurry past her, making sure everyone got in alright before following after them into the recesses of the cave.
What in Calypso's name was this mess?! One second she's returning with a large gull within her red jaws, the next she's swarmed with bugs. Luckily, her den was near since Sadie wanted the best and closest access to the tide pool and sea. So with her burst of speed, she ran head into the swarm and dove into her den. Luckily, her den faced out of the swarm, so most of the locusts were flying over her den and barely any came inside.

She snarled as she ripped them off, feeling satisfied as they crunched inside of her jaws. The taste wasn't appealing, but not really gag worthy. She however spit them out, staying quiet as the loud buzzes came over head. Silently, she waited. Sadie hadn't seen locusts in a swarm, but she heard stories of those who survived after their destruction. She would have to wait it out, having to go without eating for a few days if the large gull didn't sustain her.

She looked at the gull with little interest, laying down to rest her head on her paws. She faced the wall to her left, often her eyes trailed out to watch locusts fly buy.

What have I done to ye Calypso? Have I done ye wrong!? She called out, though the noise was deafening.
Depp was padding through the ravine without much concern for the time being, he was focusing on a rather strange looking gleam inbetween some rocks, moving his muzzle down to get a closer look he began to hear a strange humming but decided to ignore it with more important tasks at hand. Throughout his time, he'd always kept close to Sen's range, making sure if he was ever to need her he'd know where she is but allowed her whatever space she seemed to desire so much. Whether or not she knew of his close proximity at practically all time was irrelevant. His ears twitches as the buzz grew louder–though he continued to poke at whatever shined in the sunlight so well. He began to paw at the ground, attempting to uncover the sparkle, but when concluding he wasn't able to retrieve whatever the treasure may be, he finally turned his attention to whatever was making that horribly annoying sound.

There before the pirate loomed a cloud of bugs–locusts to be precise. His face showed no surprised, but rather interest. "Well damn," he'd heard plenty of stories of these flying Devils before and it took a moment to process that this is what would be happening the his home that he worked so hard on to claim his own. Only then did his eyes widen and he began to bolt away in a unstable lumber towards shelter. Halfway there, bugs on his tail did it come to mind that Sen, the mother who bared his children, was already enduring this wall of Satan. Slowing his pace he had to make the decision whether or not to run into these bugs or make his way to safety. Rolling his eyes at himself, knowing he'd go after the serpent he changed direction towards her, running straight on to the locusts.

Multiple howls from his pack mates were heard, but he ignored them and made his way to Sen. One bug hit him, then another, and another and soon enough he was becoming covered by the fiends, ignoring the urge to rip them off as they gripped his fur, he ran through them until making out the figure of his co-Alpha ripping them off herself. Knowing the action was a waste, he continued to resist doing the same. Depp came up to the struggling fae and gestured her to follow. Having roamed the territory tons oftimes to familiarize himself to it  if a situation such as this ever presented itself, he knew exactly where to go. "Lovely day, is' nit?" He asked, managing his comedic personality even through such a moment.
