This is Aaron's sister so he is definitely going to be here in this thread but I assume it's All Welcome to those that might find her!

@Aaron

--

"Love conquers all," he murmured into her ear. Those were not his words. Or were they? She could hardly remember anymore; time was a nonsensical clump of faces and words that spilled into one another like paint sliding off the canvas. She laughed and he cried...their manic harmony rising as a single chorus to the ink splattered night sky. They sang in discord of one another, competing for the loving glance of the full moon above, and when they both realized that neither of them were worthy they fall into one another with a maddened sense of despair.

They were lost.

Now it was just she that was lost.

Emily's audits flicked forward feebly as the tendrils of Aaron's scent sank into the recesses of her nostrils...the rattling of her breath an uneven cadence of whimpering that fled her lips without permission. Her voice was without a master now; it called out into the darkening evening that foretold a night that might become her last. The whimpers rose on occasion, sharpening into shrill cries of pain, and their rhythms were concurrent with the stumbling that put too heavy a burden on her not yet healed shoulder. It was like a hot poker, stirring her from the complacent haze that was starvation, and she used its fierce sting to goad her forth through the day and on into these long hours before the dawn of nightfall.

It was seemingly forever to her before she could no longer go on. She fought, possibly harder that she'd ever done so before, to walk onward...but in the end it was the lonesomeness of her struggle that depleted her will to endure. She collapsed a half mile or so from the kingdom of her brother and gave a shudder that drew her legs to her for a meager sense of warmth. The whimpers dulled into soft whines and then they too faded to shallow, hardly discernible breaths.

She waited then for the moon to rise and look upon her with the love she craved at her very first breath. She waited for the moon to bring her home.
<3333 not everyone tagged is required to come! he's just frantic and calling out to everyone

No. No

He could scent her-- just barely-- as he patrolled the borders. She smelled the same she did the day he'd left her. This time, however, he didn't smell him. Surely the man hadn't left her-- Aaron had proofed him himself, he seemed like a fine man with wonderful intentions. He wondered how far out the swarm had gone, and then if his poor, beloved sister had been part of the chaos the locusts had reeked.

He mind left his body-- momentarily-- as pure instinct took over. His paws thudded against the barren ground as he left the thick-- but greenless-- forest and made his way straight for her scent. The closer he came, the more real she was becoming. He heard soft whimpers, and he legs moved even faster. They burned, for the man was large and not a fast runner, but he kept moving forward, unwilling to allow his sister to go without attention for any longer.

He arrived at what seemed to be too late, her beautiful white body crumpled to the ground and staring into the sky. He barked loudly, rushing to her body and nosing her quickly.

"Emily... Emily," he cooed over and over, licking her face and shoulders as he tried his hardest to beckon her awake. He then lifted his head to the sky, calling for his beloved @Amara and his most trusted @Faramir, but prayed that loyal @Liri or @Hosannah might show as well. He felt the whole pack was necessary to help him with this task. Emily was, after all, the most important woman in the world-- besides Amara.
I'm just going to keep posting until others jump in =D Pardon her broken train of thoughts...she's a tad crazy town right now!

--

"Look look," he exclaimed excitedly with the frantic stamping of his two front paws. "It's here! It's here!" And lo it was! The mystery beyond the horizon. The reckoning. They could actually see it now...and they both knew an important moment of their lives had arrived. They shared an anxious glance before looking upon the dark cloud that brought with it a mystery they wanted to unravel. She was scared. He wasn't. His eyes, always so warm, sparkled and GOD did she feel the squeezing of her heart as they bumped shoulders and sprinted into the wilderness.

There was a distinct buzzing in her ears. It was coming. A spear of fright pierced her heart and she rose from her place at death's door with a sudden lurch of her shoulders that snapped her head upright. She was crying out then, tears pricking at the corners of her wide eyes, and at first it was not Aaron that she saw but the shadowed face of him and her heart was not squeezing then but thudding hard against her bony breast in what was stark terror.

"YOU!" she beckoned of her voice with as much intimidating bravado her frail body could muster. But the haze drifted, her mind settling back on track, and her features softened considerably as her brother's familiar features sharpened into reality. "Y-you..." came the quiet mewl before she broke free of her stupor and began sobbing in relief.
fine by me <3 sorry if i jump between past and present tense! experimenting with it and sometimes i forget.

She seems afraid and first, and he steps back briefly to give her some space. Soon though, relief floods into his features as she appears to recognize him, and he steps forward to nudge her with strong affection. "Emily," he murmurs over and over, beginning to lick her face lovingly again. She begins to sob, and he licks the tears from her face the best that he can.

"Please, please it's okay," he pleads softly, trying to calm her the best he can. "You are safe now," he says, although in his mind he cannot fully convince himself of that. Rosings was thinning-- especially with Gothams death and Maja's disappearance. He could only pray that Faramir was okay-- now that he thought about it his presence had been scarce. "You are nearby my pack-- it is Rosings, after the territory our old pack resided in," he explains quickly. "I will bring you there-- can you stand?"
Amara rushed to meet the estranged cries of a wolf she did not know, but that her lover was there and she was needed. She found Aaron crouched over a similar looking female, but did not know who it was. Aaron had never shared much of his past, and she did not question it. But a look at the two suggested that Aaron knew this female, and cared for her deeply. It sparked a hint of jealousy, but she repressed it. It wasn't her place. Instead, she surveyed the girl with much worry. Nothing about her physical appearenced suggested she was injured or in pain, but her voice inclined she was.

It had to be phsycological. She looked to Aaron, with extreem worry etched on her face. "I will get herbs," She sprang up from her lowered form, just after commanding those who stood idle to help the girl inside. "We will help her," She reassured Aaron before running to her herbs cache. Everything coursed through her mind as her tiny legs carried her as fast as she could. Thankfully, she had stored the leftovers of what she found under rocks where they could not be damaged. Oh, what did she need.. Chamomile to calm her nerves and perhaps lavender if she could not find it. But, she did. The last bit of chamomile she had she crushed and mixed with a tiny essence of water to make it edible. Her own nerves did not help, her small body tremmbling in distress.

Soon, she found her way and slowly but carefully carried the herbs back to the scene. She lowered down, gently placing the herb mixture on the ground. "This will calm her down, if she is willing to take it.." She trailed of, her eyes veering down to the distressed female. She did not know who she was, but she was important to Aaron, and so she was important to Aaron, she was important to her.
Faramir took a sharp turn from his original path, for he had been searching for his mate. While he wondered where she was most of the time, he responded quickly to the call of his alpha and his friend. He arrived just in time to observe Amara and Aaron giving what looked to be herbs to another wolf.

Upon approaching closer, he saw it was a female, who didn't look well at all. Worriedly, he cast a glance to Aaron. "How can I help?" he asked simply. He wasn't about to clutter up the chaos with more words than it needed.
Feel free to skip over me whenever. I think unless someone else new arrives, the turn order is Emily > Aaron > Amara > Faramir > Hosannah? Just to keep things straight.

she heard the call while scouring the land for more herbs, and was quick to abandon such a pointless endeavor. hunger had begun to gnaw at hosannah's belly but she took steps to avoid it, nibbling on dried sticks, picking at the ground where she'd find the sparse new grasses growing, even revisiting the body of gotham wherever it ended up; she thought of picking at him some more, and wondered how the other rosings felt about it - she could not focus on the task at hand! oh, how horrible were these summer days. while her path deviated towards gotham's body, her mind thought only of aaron and the summons; then, correcting her path, she sought him out.

there were many gathered by the time she arrived. the alphas were tending to a stranger, and she sighted faramir among them. who was this woman that they fretted over? why was she of such importance? hosannah was nervous of this event, cushioned by ignorance, and coasted to a halt just outside of the circle surrounding the newcomer. she heard amara speaking, saw the passing of herbs, and called out over the din of activity: what is this? she side-stepped, circling almost like a vulture around the group, and when finding aaron she repeated herself in no uncertain terms: why do we spare precious herbs for this one? she is touched, she is corrupted! surely we will turn her away?
HELLO NEW PACK FAMILY =D I will be starting various threads here shortly...any of you are welcome to jump in them to get your activity going!

For a creature that spent 90% of her time bathing in the attention of others the sudden appearance of the whole damn world's populace was more or less a welcome reprieve. At least then, she considered, she would be buried. Aaron will not allow them to eat me she reasoned with stupid naivety.  They would not feast on her, no, not the precious sister of their romantic king. She would be tended and mended and finally buried with the prettiest flowers they could manage. They would cry, because he would cry, and she wouldn't fade into the darkness with nothing more than the gnawing terror of her nightmares to bear witness.

"You are nearby my pack-- it is Rosings, after the territory our old pack resided in. I will bring you there-- can you stand?"

She did not stand but nodded her head weakly. "I walked forever," the femme said with a childish note of complaint at the end which rose the pitch of her voice. She was partially dead and a touch mad in the head - all things that could, that WOULD, mend over time - but the core of her being...the one that Aaron knew? It was still there. It was there in the questioning arch of her brow as spit-ladden herbs were dropped at her feet. It was there as she furiously began rubbing her face against the boney jut of her shoulders in order to dispose of the tears she'd been shamelessly shedding. And it was there in the stillness of her body as one wolf in particular voiced a complaint toward the wastage of supplies.

Selfish brat, she mused with a gaze locked on the side stepping red female.

"I am not a what," she spoke with all the dignity of a princess. "I am a who." There was still a flicker of fire in her eyes...the smoldering embers of her spirit fanned by the innocent harshness of Hosannah's tone. "I am Emily Odolf!" I think she thought blearily to herself.
so sorry I didn't respond sooner! Feel free to skip over Liri

Liri heard the call, getting to her feet and responding to the urgency with a quick pace. Hunger ground against her stomach painfully, she had noticed many of her pack beginning to lose weight already. Pushing aside the pain of hunger, Liri raced for the border fearing attack.

Her ears perked curiously as Aaron held the other close to him and murmured soothing words she could not hear. Who was this mystery woman? She must know Rosings Alpha male well to be greeted so. The arctic wolf felt a natural curiosity to investigate, wanting familiarize herself with the woman's smell as she did the other members.

Liri held back from doing so,sensing the somber mood of reunion. "Of course we would help her! She's close to Aaron or he would not treat her with such respect,"she snapped at Anna, wondering why the woman was so callous towards Emily.
probably best if no one else joins <3 order is emily > liri > aaron > amara > faramir > hosannah

Amara arrived and quickly evaluated the situation. She ran to get herbs, and in this moment Aaron was more in love with her than he'd ever been. She'd questioned nothing, and did everything she could to help-- no complaints or sour faces. He thanked her with a soft kiss upon the cheek, then turned to the pale wolf at his feet. "Eat, Emily," he commanded his sister. More arrived, but he ignored them briefly as he focused solely on his beautiful wife and sister. He was about to introduce the two when a voice that was less than helpful sounded.

He would have snarled and chased her from the site, but Emily and Liri spoke first. He nudged Liri, finding her in the group with pride and appreciation, then looked to Hosannah. "She is to be helped," he says firmly, his head raised with pride and his tail high behind him. "If you do not wish to help, do not, but do not waste space here." Rosings was in no condition to chase off members-- this he knew-- but he was less than happy with Hosannah now and was no longer pleased with her presence. He prayed she returned to the territory-- or at least shut up. He turned to the rest of the pack, gaze falling on Faramir and then Liri.

"She needs to the territory. My den is not far off-- if you have no problems Amara I would greatly appreciate it if she could stay there," he says to his wife.
I am going to archive this since we've lost a few members and it's becoming stale =D Onward to bigger and better things!

The world was a techno-colored mass of faces, mostly unfamiliar, that ebbed and flowed into the consciousness of Em's presently feeble mind. She ate when prompted - her state of being had her being atypically subservient - and gagged as the bitter juices trickled down the parched lining of her throat. But it helped...she was able to rise and stagger forward on bony legs that trembled like the autumn leaves just moments before they fell to earth. Strangers helped her, jostling her to stay upright, and it was with only scarce awareness that the femme registered her long journey to the home of her brother and his wife. It was upon her arrival that she settled to the ground and fell into deep sleep...the hours following her rescue spent in fitful, nightmare enriched rest.
