Nova spoke to Grace upon her return to the shore, spent a full day with her adopted daughter, but the day after was the day she went to the borders. She could care less she missed the last pack meeting, and that fact alone proved that she no longer belonged here. There was no loyalty towards the willows nor those who led it, and it felt as if her home was filled with strangers: and neither of the groups wanted anything to do with her. So, as much as she'd wished to teach pups and  share her knowledge, she could not stay. Not feeling like a part of the family, only having a friend in Grace and, maybe, Trick. It was only for her daughter that she had stayed at all, but now with a new purpose before her, the golden elder knew what she had to do.
Phares' words had broken through to her, made her feel the true weight of her sins and the things she'd done. The golden queen would be reborn, helped, healed by the light of Him, and already had told the red man that today she would meet him. So, over the borders she went. A few feet after, she stopped, howling into the Willows her goodbye, her leave of the pack and making it clear she would not return. 
Gone the golden ghost was before any could find her, but she knew it was fully possible that someone would follow her to Phares, come to the marsh they were meeting it, but none of it worried her. She was a lone wolf once again, but would never be alone at heart. She had Raas now, she had Phares, and always would Grace be here should she ever need the russet girl again or vise versa.
