for @Aeronwyn ! he's on shadewood side of the river, for reference c:

His search for watermint — a medicinal plant said to soothe stomach aches — took the sea witch to the southern reaches of the Teekon Wilds once more. Though he did not venture as far south as King Elk Forest where he assisted the Silver Creek elder — a fascinating woman that he half had a mind to venture down further to pay a visit to, to check on how her paw was doing, of course — but instead stuck to the wood closer to the coast. It was still quite the trek to and fro Stavanger Bay but his trusted piece of curved cedar bark was proving to be invaluable for transporting his medicinal plants ...and his poisonious plants. For what was a sea witch without a darker side? He was not a saint, nor a martyr and was not beyond resorting to poisons to deliver a suffering and painful death to the enemies of the Leviathan, Skellige.

It was a fine line to walk, admittedly. Most of what could cure wolves in a high enough dosage could kill them so it was a thin difference between what made a medic and what made an assassin. It was a line that Riptide was willing to toe.

At the eastern edge of the Shadewood — Riptide was pleasantly surprised to find — was a river. Just on the other side of it was what appeared to be lush and rolling hills but the territory within the cusp of the river held no interest to the sea witch whom, instead, was only interested in the plant life the river had to offer him, and with his bark set to the side upon the bank he waded into the cool waters, fiery, red-orange gaze searching for the purple puff balls of flowers that marked themselves distinctly as watermint.
