Anyone, but he's here to talk to the leaders, @Scimitar or @Goldhawk :)

Ezekiel was planning on making this the shortest damn trip he'd ever been on. It's be the first time he's actually left home in a couple months, and while it did feel good to roam from the Silvertip borders, he felt guilty leaving them unprotected. Of corse Steady and the others could handle it, but Zeke always felt border patrol was sort of his duty, and he felt he was leaving his pack unsafe by of being there. Plus he was supposed to be there for when Valette returned. That was only all the more reason to get this over with.

He stopped at what seemed to be pretty clear borders. He stepped back a bit, a large stoical male like him might not look like a friendly greet if he was up too close, so he kept his distance. Once he felt he was a respectable length away, he sat and howled out for the leaders of the pack. He hoped that Stoic would be here, but he had his doubts. But he was doing this for Adeline, so he would bear it anyway.
It was rare for any of the children to escape the watchful eyes of both parents, but somehow this one did. Not only was it strange to be without her siblings, but it was strange by virtue of this being Eimear, the daughter that was afraid of her own shadow, the girl who needed her sister Szabala to be nearby at all times, or her father's great and sweeping shadow, for comfort. But she had been awake for too long without the others, and the outside world had been a fun place before, so why not again?

It was with a strange sense of adventure within the youngster's mind that Eimear slunk out of the den and away, her tiny taupe body slinking between the shadows and occasionally catching beams of summer light; the dust that danced in each sunbeam made her laugh, and she vaulted through them, snapping and giggling, as if she were trying to catch something of importance. When this game became too much for her, Eimear began to look for a way back to the den - but she didn't get far before a strange figure caught her attention.

The girl became instantly nervous. She crouched against a tree trunk, coiling her hind legs beneath herself like a cat, with eyes wide and luminous thanks to the shifting of the light through the boughs; she saw this stranger and did not recognize him, nor his grizzled pelt, but did not give up her game of staring him down — before long he'd probably spot her, being a brownish-gold blob among the trees and bushes.
Hallo~ ^_^

Goldhawk was padding along the borders, minding the business on the horizon (was that a falcon?), when he heard the howl. Feeling it different to the usual call from those seeking acceptance into the pack, the Beta was precise in his journey towards its owner, who he guessed was a male around his own age.

All at once, he saw a stranger in the vicinity of one of Neverwinter's youngest. Seeing Eimear's fear, Goldhawk sprang protectively in front of her and his golden fur bristled. You'd best explain yourself fast, bucko, he warned the male. Striking fear into the hearts of Neverwinter's little beauties is not a sin fast forgiven, wot.
Lol this always happens to poor Zeke xD

Ezekiel noticed the pup, slinking along the tree line, before she noticed him. Once she did see him, she flattened herself, clearly frightened. Zeke's ears flattened to his skull as he scowled. Pups always seemed to find him intimidating, all except for Adeline. He surely hadn't meant to scare the girl, but he figured trying to talk to her wouldn't make her feel any better. Instead he'd wait for another to arrive. Luckily he wasn't meant to wait for long. A very brightly golden male appeared on scene. Defensively at that.

Ezekiel sighed and bowed his head towards the other, hopefully showing that he didn't mean harm. It wasn't his fault hat he was a big guy. And yet somehow he was to blame for scaring that little girl? This pack was gonna piss him off if he had to stay for much longer. Just get it over with, was all he could think. I mean no harm. I didn't meant to scare her either, she umm. Never mind. He said, cutting himself off. Why bother? He knew that trying to explain any more would just sound like an insult, and this guy seemed a bit quick to conclusions. It was better to just forget to rude entrances.

My name's Ezekiel, Gamma of Silvertip Mountain. I'm here on a mission from my alpha. One of our pups has gone missing. A young brown male, goes by Stoic. Seen him? He asked, staring blankly at the golden male.
I guess it was more like a cameo lmao.

The girl remained scrunched down against the tree roots, as if their bends and shadows could hide her away, until someone came to her rescue. The problem wasn't with the strange gray man entirely - he was new to her, and big, and quite scary yes - but Eimear was just as flummoxed by the appearance of the second wolf; his golden tones caught the light and she oohed softly when she saw him, her heart-flutter, but then the realization hit that this was also a stranger, to some degree. This wasn't dah, or mama, or her siblings, and those few entities were her whole world. While the new arrival tried to be a protective force, Eimear let out a small squeal and recoiled from him — then, as swiftly as she'd slunk upon the scene, she was away again, dashing for home with a small cry falling from her lips.
Goldhawk didn't blame the pup for fleeing post haste — after all, she knew the Beta about as well as she knew this complete stranger. But it took him a moment to notice, and he double-took at her retreating figure before returning his eyes to the stranger. Who, incidentally, made no move to run after the child... but nor did he seem to care much that he'd scared her.

When he explained his mission, though, Ezekiel earned a bit of Goldhawk's sympathy. The bard stood up from his defensive position and withdrew his bared teeth. Hm. No, afraid not. I haven't met a Stoic, brown or otherwise. He paused, and felt a twang of pity for the pack that had lost one of their dear little 'uns. Tell you what, I'll put the word around Neverwinter, let them know to look out for the little fella. His home's up at Silvertip, you say?
Ezekiel found it slightly ironic that the beloved pup ran away from this golden wolf, and a flick of his ear gave away his slight amusement. He did feel a bit bad for scaring the little girl, but it seemed her protector had done the same. He watched her small tail disappear into the forest until Goldhawk spoke again. And just like he'd thought, Stoic was not here. His shoulders dropped, as did his hopes. He had his suspicions, but he had still wished that Stoic would be here. He would hate to see Adeline's disappoint when he returned, it would break his heart. He was her protector, and he didn't want to let her down. But now he had to choice. He nodded to the beta at his proposition.

Yes Silvertip. Thank you, I appreciate your help. He dipped his head respectfully then turned for the trek home. It would take him some time, exactly why he wanted to begin now.

Last from me, thanks for joining <3
