@Sabriyah

Blue Willow woke with a heavy sadness on her heart. It still pained the healer that a young mother had lost her life. Life was often not fair, and it still to this day bothered her, though she was trying hard to come to terms with unfairness. Her father had always told her that there was no such thing as unfair and fair...that fairness just simply meant that everyone may not have what they wanted, but they got what they needed as long as they made good choices. A lesson she tried to hold dear to her heart, but one that she did not always agree with.

She supposed that despite the dark lining there was a silver one, being that Pied's two pups Saina and Pura had lived, beautiful little babies they were too. They would do well as Hawkeye and Peregrine's newly adopted pups.

She stood and stretched and nosed her way towards the borders, she would reinforce the borders as she hunted for some game to put into the caches, it always made her feel better to run and some prey that could run would do her heart some good.
I found it!

Every day that passed with her being a member of the pack showed her that she really had made the right choice. She really liked it here. Even though she hadn’t yet met very many of her fellow packmates, she truly felt at home here on the plateau. It wasn’t that she was antisocial. She really wasn’t. It was a matter of getting used to actually socializing with others. It would come with time.

Two more growing mouths to feed meant more hunting sessions to keep Hawkeye well fed for the best milk production. Sabriyah wanted, very much, to earn the job of Gamekeeper, and that meant she needed to hunt as much as possible to prove herself. She did as much of that as she possibly could, making sure to not push herself to the point of exhaustion. It would clearly not be a good thing for her to push herself that hard.

The young female had already left the small spot that she spent her nights curled up entirely by herself. It was a new day, and as such, it meant another day of hunting. Honestly, she was growing tired of catching rabbits, raccoons and squirrels. What she really wanted to do was find someone to go hunting with her and help her bring down something bigger. Granted, with only one other she wouldn’t be able to bring down a large animal. But perhaps finding a fawn or calf or even a wild pig.

Movement caught her attention and she stopped her prey search. Lowering her head, slightly, she flicked her ears backward to show respect to the other wolf as she came into clearer view. Soft bark was emitted to alert the other of her presence.

Sorry it took me a few days with new baby and then college started back up for me on Monday as well. :D

Blue Willow's gaze alighted onto the much smaller female that had barked a greeting. She offered a small smile in return. Her heart was still very heavy from the loss of her fellow pack mate. "Hello you must be new I am Blue Willow, the pack healer. I apologize for not speaking to you the other day in our pack's moment of tragedy. Blue Willow recognized the other from when they had all met in a moment of grief outside of Pied and Kisu's den.

Blue Willow shifted so she could speak more freely and she didn't seem so standoffish. "I have decided to hunt for the little ones and Hawkeye today, and reinforce the borders. Would you like to join me?
