This was it.
Eden treaded slowly along the borders of the fen. Her hind leg ached from walking for so long but it had been worth it, for now she had a chance. She had been a lone wolf for a year at least and she figured it was time to find a new home. She sniffed the air, carefully picking at each scent it held. She thought to herself for a moment before quickly gathering her courage. Her snout was lifted and a small smirk broke across her lips before. After a moment of peace, she released her howl, wild and hopeful, to let an alpha know that she was there.

@Sebastian
Sebastian was quick to hear the howl. He was curious what it was for. He hoped it was a lone wolf asking to join his pack. After a few members left they were lacking wolf power. The young male knew it was not his fault for them leaving. The young alpha trotted forward towards the sound of the howl, which was to his border.

The male approached and let his presence know with a chuff. His appearance was friendly yet dominant. His tail was carried high, but slightly wagging. His pale eyes not looking angry but curious. "Welcome to our borders. This is Broken Antler Fen. You called for me?" he asked.
Eden was startled by the voice that seemed to erupt almost immediately. She turned quickly and saw the other; a male of reasonable size. She assumed it was the alpha she had called for and began. "I'm Eden, and I'm in search of a pack. Are you the alpha?" Each alpha she'd come across had been different in their own rite, from her father to each stranger. But this male in particular seemed truly unique. He didn't seem to carry the hostility she expected. She stood still before him, her posture cool and neutral, as she awaited his response.
Sebastian stood before her with confidence but it was not arrogance. The grey male nodded. "Yes, I am. I am Sebastian. I lead this pack with my mate Pearl," he informed her and then smiled lightly. Normally wolves were straight to the point but this one seemed to make sure. So he labeled her as a more careful character.

Sebastian however was a patient man and was not one to interrogate her. He politely waited for what she wanted to tell me. She didn't smell of a pack, but who knows, maybe she was a messenger traveling from far away.
Eden took in his assertive air and showed her respect in her own posture. She took a moment to gather herself and quickly announced her intentions: "I am here to join you, if you would have me that is." She breathed lightly once she'd finished her statement and stood patiently, not knowing what was to come next.
Sebastian smiled kindly. "We have some room here for a new member. But for that I do need to know what you like doing. Like helping with hunting or patrolling the borders," he explained to her. "Maybe you are more into nature and like being a healer or work with plants?," he suggested. He was not sure what she liked.

"Also, this is a wet area, so it is almost a must to like water," he chuckled to the new female that liked to join.
Eden breathed a shallow sigh of relief. She considered her options; she had a great sense of self and her surroundings, and she was no stranger to a hunt. Because of her size, she'd often been chosen to help in her home pack, though the kill made her cringe. She was only a hunter when necessary. On the contrary, she was very knowledgeable about the world around her and the things it carried. She had considered medicine in the past, though never pursued it, and now was her chance. "Medicine. That's my trade."
Sebastian noticed she was a woman that didn't talk too much. The male quirked up his lips a bit and nodded. "Oh perfect. I am working on being a medic myself. I could always have someone help me," he spoke with a smile.

He looked over her. "Well, I am sure you would fit right in! We are a family based back. We sleep together in the Cove. It is a clearing in the woods. You will smell it. The food is there too. I'd say do introduce yourself to my mate Pearl," he spoke with a smile. "All are very friendly wolves. I'm Sebastian. Welcome to Broken Antler, Eden!," he hummed.
