Judas was utterly confused. He had taken a path he thought was east. He knew from the name it would be in the mountains. But now, he had ended up lost. Had he known the name of where he was, he would have extremely hopeful, having found the right place. But he didn't. Somehow he ended up on a mountain pass, going through and around them.

"Just..my..luck!" The coywolf couldn't have held in his frustration any longer. Going alone, it was stupid of him. But he couldn't have burdened Pyx like that. If only he had heard Heldi in that meeting with Charon. If only..."I shouldn't have gone alone" he murmured to himself.

But it was too late for that. He took one more shaky step forward before deciding now was the time to rest. But there was no shelter. So he sat there on the side of the path. If it rained, so be it. He understood his mistake now. All he could think about is how he would return without news of Charon's uncle, Mordecai.
Avannon was exhausted. She was Fed up 18th running, Fed up with the problem nature had given her. She scurried along, her wandering had led her into the mountains. She flopped down on the ground taking deep breaths through her nose when she smelled him. There was a male nearby and she would be lucky of he hadn't already picked up her intoxicating scent. She stood up and looked around, cobalt blue eyes falling upon a coywolf some off feet away " I assume you are lost?" she spoke hesitantly as she tucked her tail against her lower region's trying to mask the scent that pooled from between her loins. She wished she had stayed on Ryujin territory where she could have gotten help if needed.
Judas felt like something slapped him in the face, shifting his mood in an instant. There was a tingling feeling deep within. He had felt it before, and he had an idea of what it was. That idea worried him and his rational mind. The voice in his head relished in his inner turmoil at the scent.

His eyes followed the scent's direction with help from his nose, and there his gaze fell upon a female standing there. She threw a question at him. It took much of his willpower to fortify himself. "Y-Yes. I'm looking for someone. His name is Mordecai."
She could see the battle within him and hesitantly took a step back her inner voice groaning with disappointment. She nodded, eyes still wary though he was being civil. She looked him over once Immediately realizing he wasn't full wild though the fact didn't bother her at all. " I've never heard of him unfortunately. I'm rather new to these parts although this area is now my home" she said and offered him a quick smile. " is there anything I can help you with despite my lack of knowledge?" she offered tilting her head to the side inquisitively. She had been in heat before but had never really come across those of the opposite sex while suffering from the symptoms. She couldn't lie to herself, being in front of this male made her want things she would usually rather reserve for the one she loved. She cleared her throat using the wound to draw herself back to the moment " I am Avannon" she introduced.
Judas' struggle intensified as she took a step closer. The scent grew stronger. Wants and needs conflicted. He had to keep going, not get sidetracked. And she helped with that by diverting to that subject, taking his mind temporarily off the wafting scent.

His tail fell low hearing this news. Once more, no such luck. "Well, thank you anyway." He didn't want to trouble her anymore, but when she asked what else, he couldn't resist asking for more help. "Actually, there is something. Are there any other packs nearby?" He could start by looking at nearby packs, since Charon had said it was over Sunspire mountain. And these were mountains, so it must have been one of them. Maybe Mordecai had moved to one nearby. Judas knew he should at least check before moving on.

He bowed his head formally at her introduction. "Judas."
At the question of nearby packs Avannon's ears perked and lowered as conflicted emotions swept over her "Ryujin. My home. I came from there. I can being you to my leader Asterr,  but I am unsure if she knows anything" she said glancing at the ground she placed her injured leg down for a moment forgetting the injury that had been bothering her and let out a shrill whine as pain shot through the inflamed limb "I think it's infected.." she gasped looking at the oozing and puffy set of bites and the cut from where she had pulled away. She gave a shuddering breath and glanced at Judas "do..do you know anything of healing?" she asked nervously.
Avannon mentioned she came from a pack nearby called Ryujin. Information that would be useful, but not the kind that would help. If she was a part of that pack and had not heard of mordecai, he doubted he would be there. So he would have to keep moving. But that would have to wait.

Judas' gaze flicked to her injured leg. It looked bad. Really bad. Luckily for her, Pyx had taught him some things. However finding such things, that would be tough. What he needed was Marigold and Oak Leaves. If he hadn't met Pyx, however, he would never have known how to apply it to another.

"I will be right back. I"m going to get some herbs to help it." The coywolf bolted off, going to look for herbs.
Avannon merely nodded and slowly lowered herself to the ground as she watched him run off. She breathed in the mountain air closing her eyes for a moment. She scolded herself for not cleaning the wound enough. She briefly remembered her mother. Her mother had known herbs and plants like she knew her own borders. A smile hinted on her face as she remembered her mother's eyes, the eyes that had became her own. Avannon hummed a sweet tune to herself, wondering if Judas would return at all. She was a stranger to him after all.
Judas hurried around, almost forgetting his previous mission. Until he was a distance away, the voice popped in, ridiculing him for being so 'good to others'. He was about to snarl at it like he used to, but it had a point. He had a mission, and he had gone out of his way for someone he did not know. Surely her pack had a medic. But then, if they did, why was she not treated? More and more questions rose up in his head.

But they all went when he caught sight of a very small group of marigold. Barely enough. Not wanting to look any longer, he went with it and took that clump in his mouth and hurried back, chewing it to a paste along the way so he could apply immediately. Soon, he caught sight of her and approached, not speaking due to the pasty plant in his mouth.
Avannon's eyes lit up when he came back, and she sagged her tail gratefully "thank you for coming back...I wouldn't have blamed you if you left" she murmured. She shifted her position and sat up holding her injured leg off the ground. She momentarily forgot about her heat as she waited almost too eagerly for Judas to begin treating her wound.
Judas went right to it, trying his best to ignore the scent as he applied the now-paste plant to her wound. He hoped it would help with any infection on it. He remembered to be careful about it, using his tongue to move the paste around to cover and spread across the wound.

Once he was done, he stepped back to look over his work. "Try not to move as much. It'll help and hopefully won't start bleeding again." He wanted to keep moving, but something kept him there. Perhaps it was the scent. Or perhaps wanting to make sure it was okay.
Avannon winced but held still as he applied the paste to her wound. She remained silent until he was finished and then gently put her paw down. "I want to go back to ryujin..but I have to wait out this fanned heat. And it's horrible...my instincts tell me to ...I'm sorry I shouldn't be talking about it...you are probably suffering enough. If there is anything I can do to repay you just let me know" she said embarassed her eyes glancing at the ground.
Judas shifted his gaze and nose away from her. He already knew of her heat. The best thing he could think of doing was leaving. It would help both of them. "I think the best thing is for me to leave." He started to continue on his way, not looking or turning back despite the wanting he had deep inside.
Avannon dipped her head "as you wish. Thank you for your assistance Judas. I wish you luck" she said softly grateful for the male's help and the fact that he was a gentleman. Yet for some reason she yearned for him to stay. Blue eyes blinked once and watched him walk away.slightly hoping that he would turn around. She swallowed the hope quickly as the image of a coal colored make crept into her mind. For him she needed to stay strong...but it was hard. Maybe he would forgive her? No. She had to fight the urge!
Mature: Getting a bit 'heated'

Judas kep going. Until a voice in his head came along. "Come on, you're not a little bit interested?" He had to admit, it was hard to resist. But he had to, he just had to. "Well, too bad. I want some fun around here."  The coywolf felt a twitch in his nether regions. As if a change was happening.

All of a sudden, he felt different. He glanced back, a grin he had not had in a long time. The wall had thinned. And now, it was broken.

He headed back, his tail swaying behind him. "Actually, there might be something." He approached Avannon, stopping short. "I can see it in your eyes." He licked his lips. Despite all his 'good side' tried, nothing cloud break the trance.
Avannon noticed the change in the kind male and stood up keeping her tail tucked. she pretended not to know what he wanted as emotions warred within her " what is it?" she said her eyes watching him as an eager feeling began to full her chest. jolon...remember jolon... hher mmind raced. As her nose picked up the scent of his arousal she fought the urge to approach him and make the first move.
Judas faked a pout as he took another step closer, just one pace in front of her. Close enough to almost poke her face with his nose. "Really? I thought you would know" he said as he began to circle. The cruel look in his eyes. His tail swayed more and more as he got closer and closer.

"You can't trick me, you know what you want. Why, saving yourself?" The 'good side' tried to breach through, but now the scent was affecting both personalities of Judas.
A whimper almost escaped her maw as he free closer his breath tickling her face as he spoke. He knew she wanted it, and she Could feel the warmth spreading in her nether regions as he circled her in a predatory way. She took a shivering breath but spoke calmly " yes I'm saving myself." she said softly turning before he could position himself behind her. Her eyes remained on the male filled with both fear and desire as a war raged, instinct against logic.
Judas rolled his eyes at her, letting out a light laugh. "Who? Are they even worth the wait? Don't you want to experience it as soon as possible? Know what you are walking into, or wait till your next heat?" Despite saying all this, all the bad side of the coywolf wanted was to make torment for the other side, to ruin a life. If he had a middle name, it would be Torment. Though it was rather different to that. He dared to come closer so his muzzle was at her ear, and he whispered, "What do you say, Avannon?"
Avannon listened to Judas's words, the enticing sneaky little things they were. She did want to experience the pleasure she had heard about but never felt, and wait until her next heat? Why would she want to so that? His words had intoxicated her, made her nether regions ache in a way she hadnt felt. Then she remembered he had asked who..and in her almost drugged trance she couldn't put a name to him, it was a him..black flashed across her mind and a voice calling out to her...a voice she ached to hear again.."jolon.." she whispered and then as Judas whispered in her eat his voice so sweet and alluring...tempting she snarled backing away from the aroused male trying to gather her sensed " his name is Jolon. And he is worth it, every minute of this aching is worth the years I may spend by his side" she growled. Cobalt eyes flashed a warning and she lowered her muzzle " stay back Judas, I really appreciate your help but my heart remains elsewhere" she said sternly while she slowly backed away. She would fight him if it came to it, but she didn't want to hurt him. She knew it wasn't Judas speaking . or at least not the Judas who had fixed her leg.
Oh this thread's getting so good! The temptation

Judas felt almost angry at her denial, snarling at him. But he would not attack. He still had fresh memories of what happened then. Both personalities did. Instead he only chuckled. "Your heart? Please. Is your heart the one that drives you to hunt? Or your instinct? And it is your instinct that drives you. Your heart may keep you alive, but it is your instincts that let you survive. So tell me, what does your instincts say? Why not listen to that for a change?" He narrowed his eyes at her, daring another step closer. "Because all your heart does is get in the way. Your emotions cloud your thinking."

"And besides, you said if there was anything you could do for me. I helped you. I could have left you to die."
Both parts of Judas knew that was true. The dark side of him would have probably ended the suffereing, but not without adding more pain. The light side was trapped.
Who did he think he was, still trying to persuade her? She growled a low warning though she stepped back no further. He was slightly heavier than her and maybe a but bigger in height as well. He could take her in a fight. She knew damn well what her instincts were telling her yet it now became a matter of principal. " my instincts are telling me to flay Your flesh from your bones" she replied in a sickeningly sweet voice her eyes flashing. She stared directly into his eyes challenging him to call her bluff. She stepped forward and yelped immediately as she placed her paw down wrong and collapsed forward rear in the air as she struggled to quickly regain her footing, eyes wild with fear.
Judas grinned menacingly, starting to like the fire he saw in her. If Mitanni had been anything like that, It might have actually wanted her more. And he did not doubt for a moment that she could do that. Until she fell over. Eyes gleaming, he saw his chance. He went behind her, and climbed atop her. Once in position, he reached his muzzle down toward her ear.

"You want this. You know that." And then he started thrusting.
Avannon gasped muscles tensing immediately as he mounted her. Her eyes widened and she froze for A split second mind going blank in shock only registering facts he mounted me. He's ...he's forcing me! She thought and tried to bite him, swinging her head to snap her jaws. The position prevented her from reaching him so she tried to pull herself away from him claws digging into the soil as she trembled from both unwanted pleasure and immense fear. She realized it was no use and let out a wail calling out for the one wolf she wanted most "help...help me. Jo...Jolon!!" her voice was shrill and panicked as she panted, fighting the part of her that wanted to give in to the moment.
Judas suddenly stopped when she called out for help. Knowing her pack was close by, he had only one course of action. Stay and keep going, but get killed, or run. No matter how much he wanted to rip her throat out for doing that, he was sensible and knew his life was most likely at stake. After all, he had done what he wanted to do.

"I hope you liked that, sweety" he whispered into her ear with a sick grin before dismounting. Then he went right by her, mocking her with a flick of his tail alongside her and in front of her nose.
