Aspen darted through the trees of her territory not a care in the world where she would end up so long as it was anywhere but the tunnels right now. Her paws carried her closer and closer to the borders until she was over them. Yet even then she didn't stop. Not a care in her mind where she would end up she kept on running across the land until eventually the queen tired and the weight of the pups caught up with her. Come to think of it, all that running probably wasn't doing anyone any good.

Aspen sighed and found a tree to sit by where she sat catching her breathe as the first tear finally broke the banks and rolled down her face. Reality began to set in. Everything
that had happened earlier with Alder. Telling him about the puppies, finding out about Heartha. Just everything, began to weigh her down.

She stared out over the horizon wondering what on earth she had done to deserve this. She wasn't angry, she was just hurting. A lot.  She shifted on her paws as the sun began to dip below the horizon, perhaps this would be where she spent the night. She nodded as if to agree with herself. There was no way she could return to her den tonight. She just couldn't.

Right outside the borders. Set on the 23rd of August @Aeronwyn
She had never expected to find this woman in her place. The foolish queen, the false queen. But here she was, looking rather upset, to be truthful. Her optics swiveled atop her head, eyes bright as they scanned the clearing, but there was no one else here. Had her arrogant mate finally abandoned her? Her false pack crumbled beneath her yet? If not, these things would come to pass sometime. Feeling no fear of the woman, but no anger either, the pale woman stepped forward, revealing her position and eyeing the woman neutrally, silently. She understood that her past actions had been foolish, the act of someone enraged not with the Glade, but with herself for not being fast enough to save Vassago from injury that fateful day.

Not to say she didn't dislike the stuffy, arrogant court. No, just not to the point that she would blindly attack this rather pathetic looking woman.
Aspen quickly became aware that she was in fact not alone. Though she knew this was not pack territory, so perhaps it was just a lone wolf. Aspen's gaze shifted to face the wolf, only to realize it was in fact not a lone wolf but a wolf Aspen hated with a burning passion.

Aspen felt a faint growl rumble in her chest though barely audible. She gave the female a hard stare before opening her mouth. "Go away..." she muttered. "I don't need this...you... right now." She remained seated where she was hoping that the wolf would change her mind and let the queen sulk in peace. Could this night get any worse.

Sorry its short x.x
Of course, the woman put up a weak protest to her presence, however, it was not delivered with the velour that she expected.  She watched the other with a slightly curious expression, obviously not feeling the same amount of dislike as the other felt. Her hate for them had been foolish. If they wan't to play royalty, then let them play.

"I do believe that you are the one sulking in my favourite abode," she said, settling back on her haunches as she regarded the woman, gaze indifferent, and yet curious in the slightest. She did not seek to further the divide between herself and the Glade, for it was never wise to create too many enemies.
Aspen sighed long and hard as the pale female explained that Aspen was the one sulking in one of her favourite abodes. "Well how was I supposed to know that, last time I checked this was no man's land," Aspen spoke rather sarcastically and with an emotionless tone. Her gaze returned over the lands in front of her.

Though her mind was empty. She was tired. Emotionly drained and pregnant. All things that never bode well together. Perhaps this wolf would leave, though based on past experiences with her, Aspen was in for a long night.
Well, this was no fun. The woman was sulky, and was neither a friend or one that interested her. Should she wish to sulk here, so be it. She eyed her a moment longer, wondering if she should stick around to make sure this woman came nowhere near Arthendal. But that would be a waste of her time, this limp rag of a wolf was rather uninteresting. She had no desire to spit cruel things toward her, that having been done in the past a side effect of her anger at herself. So with a final cool look, she spun on her heel and slipped back into the woods. "Next time, chose a better place to sulk." she said stiffly, slipping back the way she had come.
