"COME BACK, YE SLIMEY BARK-DOGS!" murgash snapped, his voice a crude bellow over the thrumming waves. he was galloping, fur and drool flying in a majestic display of impropriety; even more comedic and equally grotesque were the fleeing seals he was chasing. they floundered in large wormy-steps, their fat slapping the sand and the cellulite of their smooth hides vibrating like a quiver with each impact.

he stopped, having nearly been steam-rolled (trampled? flattened? what is the adequate term for a living bulldozer?) by a bull intent on making it to the water. "WATCH IT, WATERCOW!" he roared, issuing a snap at the bull's retreating fins.

with a rush the entire herd had sunk into the water and they watched him with doleful eyes. murgash was convinced they were mocking him - they stood just tantalizingly out of reach in the shimmering shallows. murgash swung his body towards the sea and faced them, his expression contorted in a sneering retort. the grimace was not unlike the expression a twelve-year old would wear when mocking his older brother. "stupit salty-dogs. THIS IS WOT YE LOOK LIKE," murgash brayed, slackening his jaws and contorting his face in the best imitation of a overdone lackwit dullard in rebuke to the seal's blank stares.
so sorry for the wait!

The spectacle may have passed for amusing, yet as the woman watched, her expression was one of distaste. Some sort of...creature; who she could neither identify as wolf, coyote nor dog, screeched crude things and ran after a gathering of fat seals. It was frankly disgusting in a single scene, this mange thing chasing after blobs of fat, drool and fur flying as if trying to escape the vile creature. All the while, the beautiful coyote stood to the side, silent, noticing and yet not noticed. Yet.

She did not scent the bay on this one, though even if she had it would not have stopped the words that flew from her maw. "What in the gods are you?" she shouted over the sound of alarmed seals and a shouting male looking even more like some sort of deranged lunatic as he pulled the oddest expression over her face. Her features were set in chastising distaste, slightly disgusted. He was like car crash, should she have had any idea of what such a thing was, horrific, and yet one was unable to look away.
he glared after the seals, which by now had lost any semblance of fear or respect for him. idly they swam away, one by one -- until the last cow was left looking at him, expression blank as a stone.

stupid thing, he thought ruefully, staring daggers as she too slipped under the waves and disappeared.

he turned back to the shore, only to be greeted by a query. sharply, the mangy wolf looked around him, his torn ears splayed and one eye reeling until it fell on the form of a coyote. unfortunately for artemis, murgash had a thing for beasts of her stature and ilk.

it wasn't a thing. it was a full on perversion. nothing seemed any more erotic to him than the svelte form of a female coyote.

"oi'm a murgash," he half-stated, half purled, canting his hips seductively in her direction. "wot gods put ye here and blessed me wit your presence, leetle ladee?" he fluttered his eyelids coyly, a grin plastered on his lips lewdly.
looking at the male before her, the first thought that came to mind was a natural eww. yet many questions followed, wondering if this...thing...was truly a wolf as it's stature and general form suggest, of some weird sea-creature yet to be discovered. he, for she had decided it was such, spoke with a garbled and most decidedly odd accent, words...seductive? the murgash swung his hips in an odd fashon, words following the action could have made a woman blush. if, that is, they were said in an entirely different setting and from a different individual.

yet her interest in this murgash grew, if only in an entirely different respect then his interest in her. she pad closer, searching for a better look, but allowing quite a distance to remain between the two. ignoring his question, she asked a blunt and rather rude one at that, words somewhat echoing awe. "When was the last time you bathed?"
