*whumps with week two of prego*

Even though she hadn't experienced this before, she knew she was probably pregnant when she was awoken in the early morning with a seering headache and a stomach demanding to be emptied of everything at once.

Slipping from the group, she moved away to heave up her guts somewhere else, where it wouldn't disturb anyone. Hacking bits of prey from yesterday onto the ground along with the bile that stung like she'd swallowed poison, the thoughts came pretty fast of 'What in the actual hell is this what the frickity frick frack is going on why' , 'how long is this shit going to last' , and let's not forget the doubt of 'how was this ever a good idea why'd you do this'.

The first week had been relatively smooth, aside from the random bouts of diziness, where she had had to take a break from whatever she was doing until it passed. Pearl was pretty sure that she was pregnant then, with all of the sexy times going on it was bound to happen at least once. But this? She was not at all prepared for this.
Eden had been wandering alone, as per usual, when she came across Pearl: the alpha she had yet to meet. Being born to alphas in her birth pack, she had seen others approach their leaders though it was never something she'd had to do herself, and definitely not in a situation like this one. When she turned from behind the trees, she saw Pearl heaving alone, and considered her options. She could walk away and act like she hadn't seen anything, or she could use the awkward situation as a gateway to an introduction. Being the wolf she was, she chose the latter.

"Are you okay?", she asked. She kept herself as low as her stature would allow so as to not insult her superior, but remained far enough from the ground as to not insult herself.
sorry for the wait xD

Pearl looked up startledly when an unfamliar voice reached her ears. She sharply looked back to the wolf that it probably belonged to, and relaxed once she saw she was one of the newer recruits. Then she realized it was early morning and she was standing beside a puddle of nastiness. Probably not the best impression.

"Um, yeah, I think so," she paused, wondering if she should tell the new girl. Screw it all, why not. "I mean, I think I'm pregnant, so that might have something to do with it." She gave a small smile before another wave of nausea hit and she was back to staring at the ground.
Eden hadn't meant to startle her superior, but despite that it was worth it. She'd found out something wonderful and her wide grin showed her enthusiasm. She loved pups, and to learn that soon her alpha would have a litter of her own was amazing.
"That's wonderful! I hope you feel better, but it'll be worth it, if you are-you know." Her excitement made it hard for her to get her words out but she tried against it to remain composed. "As for the nausea, I think I can help that." In fact, she was confident she knew exactly what to do. As a traveled wanderer, she'd helped many wolves; morning sickness was nothing she couldn't fix.
Pearl grinned widely at her packmate's enthusiasm, and her eyes reflected interest when Eden said she knew of something that could help with the morning sickness. "Really?" she nearly shouted. Anything at this point would help with this insanity that was currently her pregnancy.

She rather liked this new wolf, and hoped she would stay. But that certainly wasn't the case lol
