@Grace I hope the poor flirt doesn't scare her away ^_^
Lennox had found himself wandering alone more and more recently, and figured he could use a break from the silence. He continued his strut with his tail curled and raised above his back while he lifted his snout and tried to pick out any stray scents the wind might've picked up. Of course, there were several, but one stuck out to him so with a smirk, he decided to rest.
He sat and admired his paws, the coloring and lean build, before looking around himself and chuffing his presence. If the wolf was nearby, perhaps they would hear him and approach. If not, he'd be on his way again, looking for a decent meal.
Grace, per usual, was out scouting for new herbs and plants to add to her garden - the roots were taking nicely, but the yearling worried the Winter would wipe them out completely. She'd been tracking the scent of fresh lavender for about a mile, and each step brought her closer - it was with great excitement that she limped into the little clearing, tail wagging as her golden gaze scanned for the purple bush.

Her heart skipped a beat when she found not the plant, but a male facing right towards her - much larger than she, but perhaps not really all that big compared to some of the brutes she'd seen, like Warbone. She froze, not moving a muscle but tensed to take flight should he prove aggressive. Her pelt was slicked bakc in fear, making her scars more than highly visible - but she held her ground for now.

                 "H-Hello?"
Lennox smirked, seeing how nervous he made the female. He tilted his head to the side a bit, and puckered his lips. You're a pretty thing, aren't you now? He stood and began to walk around her to see exactly who he was talking to, and picked out each of her scars, examining them as best as he could. For fear of scaring her away, he stopped his stalking for a moment to take a seat. I'm Lennox. You are? If she knew others around these parts, perhaps she could lead him to them and he could find a place to rest for the night.
But if not, at least he had a toy to play with for now.
You don't have to be nervous sweetheart. I'm not gonna hurt you. He laughed at the end of his statement; it was something he'd said to quite a few wolves in his past.
The male toyed with her, but he didn't seem aggressive - nonetheless, for the steps he took closer, she took one back, not allowing him to circle her. Her hackles prickled but stayed low, and her ears fell back - his compliments did not hold the same kindness that Archers did. She was confident enough to mumble out her name, all the while telling herself that should this meeting go sour, Zaavier and her other packmates were close enough to call to.

                "G-Grace."

He told her he wasn't going to hurt her, but the russet girl wasn't sure she believed him - she gave a half shrug of one shoulder, not allowing her eyes to roam from his face.

                                          "H-How do I l-know you aren't a l-liar?"
You don't, he chuckled in response to her question. Her stammering made him all the more curious. That's what makes all of this so fun. He strutted out in front of her with his tail curled above his back and his ears pointed forward - an obvious show of confidence, and moreover, dominance. He truly didn't intend to bring her any harm, but so long as she was acting like this, he would continue pushing her forward.
You can relax Grace. I make sure not to hurt the pretty ones. He tilted his head back and released a devilish laugh at his own statement. If there was anyone who could make Lennox laugh, it was undoubtedly himself. Are you from around here? I surely haven't seen you. He approached her slowly and whispered in a warm tone, I'm sure I would remember a sight like yourself. He released another hearty chuckle and sat back waiting for the game to continue.
Lennox didn't even try to make himself seem innocent, claiming it was fun - Grace immediatley dissagreed in her mind - and stepping closer. He was dominant, proud, and came closer, daring, and Grace's own tail curled over her back. Her pelt prickled, and she took a step back, her lips twitching and ready to bare her fangs should he come closer. Despite her stutter, her voice was demanding, cold - but shaking in fear.

                      "S-Stay away f-from m-me."

Again, he told her to relax - this only served to make her shudder and shake out her pelt, and his laugh made her toes want to curl. She wasn't sure she wanted to tell him where she came from, but she decided to be vague - if only to make him realize that one call would bring her friends running.

                                            "I-I'm part o-of a fl-fledgling pack n-not far f-from here."
At this point, it was obvious that what he'd been looking for had come to the light. There was a pack nearby, which meant there was somewhere to lay down for the night and possibly a meal to snag. Alright, a pack? Sounds like what I'm looking for. He'd dropped his facade and was now ready for straight talk. If he could keep her on edge, and keep her cute stammer a-go, then all the better.
Could you take me? I swear, you don't have to worry about me hurting you sweetheart.
Lennox did not come closer, but Grace's stance stayed frozen between agressive and fearful. He seemed to want to join a pack - and, in honesty, he didn't seem like someone she should turn away seeing as they needed people. If he had skills, wouldn't @Zaavier want to decide for himself if he was trustworthy?

Before saying anything, the yearling tipped back her head and called for the alpha. It was lined with urgency, and the usual note of nervousness that was always in her voice - but she hoped that realizing she was out of the borders would bring him coming swiftly.

                    "W-What're you g-good at?"
Lennox stood a respectful difference from the woman, not that he much fancied having to do so, and waited for whoever she'd howled for. I'm good with information. I can swoon anyone out of what I want to know. She smiled at the she-wolf, knowing that she was still slightly on edge, and playfully lunged slightly forward. Boo. He laughed at his joke, and sat back with his dominant posture gone in preperation to meet the alpha.
Large ear flicked back upon his cranium as Grace's voice found him. It came from behind him, and Zaavier's immense head turned to look. The nervousness in her voice sent him into a fit of urgency as he took off towards the entrance to his valley. He was protective as always for the girl he had gotten to know quite well.

His paws pounded on the earth, ceasing only when he reached the scene. Grace's posture flickered back and forth between fearful and aggressive, and Zaavier's murky eyes rested on the stranger. He lunged at Grace and slunk back in a playful stance, but the man didn't take that lightly. "Watch it," he growled, eyeing the other man and coming to stand beside Grace.

Zaavier was much taller than this other wolf, although just as lean (if not even more so). He glanced down at him with curious yet hard eyes. "What is your business here?"
Grace was not shy in baring her teeth fully at his lunge, but didn't move. She didn't like it, but she recognized the play - even if she didn't join. Calming, she listened to his skill - was manipulation a skill? If it was, what did it fall under?

                       "I-It's not m-my place to j-j-judge."

In the next moment, Zavvier burst into view - Grace loosed a sigh of relief, body falling into a more relaxed stance and tail giving a couple of friendly wags as her savior came to her. The yearling was happy to stay presssed close to his flank, her ragged breathing soon slowing, but her ears were perked in curiosity. She didn't comment at Zaavier's question, seeing as it was clearly for Lennox, and only turned to see what the stranger had to say to her alpha. Grace hoped he was just overly playful, but his show of dominance was far to prevalant in her mind - Zaavier would better assess this man.
Recognizing the fact that he was now outnumbered, Lennox put away his games and got straight to the point. I need a pack. Sweet cheeks here says you have one, a fledling pack? If that's true, you'll have a lot of competition with other packs around here, and you'll need someone like me, he said with a slick wink of an eye, to go around and get information in case trouble starts. Or, if you'd value it more, I'm good on my feet. If you need a hunter, I'd gladly take the position. At this point in his journey, Romeo would take whatever he could get if it meant a free meal and a place to sleep. Though he knew it wouldn't be that simple.
Speaking directly to the she-wolf once more, he started on a half-felt apology, And to you, sweetheart, I didn't mean to scare you. I just like to have a little fun every once in a while. No hard feelings? He laughed lightly, but was careful to keep his stance a safe distance from the two, and low to signify his need and submissiveness to the male.
10.18.2016: I'm assuming this is a dead thread(?) Lenny's going guys, but thanks for threading!
sorry for such the long wait!

Zaavier eyed the man carefully. He seemed to arrogant, he didn't like it. So despite the show of submission towards him, Zaavier shook his head an growled again. "I'm sorry, but not today." He told him with a flick of his tail. "You best be far away from here within the hour."

with that he turned away and trotted up the slope, inviting Grace to come along with him.
No problem! Im gunna go ahead and archive this.

Grace didn't buy his lazy words, shaking her head and taking a step back. Zaaviers rejection was a breath of air, and as he turned she limped over to the lavender bush, nipping off as many as she could in a couple of seconds, cramming them regretably into her jaws; tucking up her leg and bolting after her alpha, she didn't spare Lennox a parting word or look.
