Following the wind that blew west through the trees, Tivona began to exit the king elk forest and neared the silver creek pack territory. She didn't know this, and so when the scent of others came to her opposing the wind; it stopped her in her tracks. It almost startled her as she had been day dreaming through the forest. The first pack grounds she had come across and she wasn't quite sure what to do. Did she want to join a pack? Would it be so bad if she did? She pondered this just a few steps away from the border. Tracing her claws into the ground making various shapes of the stars, and flowers.
Early that morning Spring had gotten up and started a patrol.  It was mostly because she needed to just have time to think about the Amber situation alone.  She missed her sister even though she did not entirely approve of Amber's decisions.  So when the scent of a loner caught her attention she paused, scenting the air once more before continuing to go see who it was and what they wanted.

Soon enough she came upon the sight of a loner and her tail flagged with domiance to show she was the Alpha around here as she approached the female.  "Hello."  Spring called out to the loner and then once she was just a few feet away she asked, "are you interested in joining Silver Creek?  If so what is your name?"
While Tivona was deep in thought thinking of a rather simple question a voice called out to her. One from beyond the scented border that lied before her. Interupting her thought and tracing of the ground she looked up a bit shocked. She say a female present herself with her tail held firm, high ranking. Tivona's tail already hung low, but now she was intent on keeping it that way. Before waiting for a follow up greet the female came up to Tivona only a few feet away from her, and asked if she wanted to join the pack.

In her pondering she couldn't quite think of anything really compelling on either side of the spectrum. She was neutral and so she agreed. "Hello..." she started shyly "My name is Tivona."
Her question wasn't answered, but Tivona did give Spring her name which had been a part of her question, yet still not the whole.  So a little confused, and deciding to double check things, Spring asked once more.  "So does that mean that you are interested in joining then?"

She then proceeded to study the girl making a few quiet notes in her mind on Tivona.  Spring hoped that Tivona would eventually get the point that if she didn't answer Spring's question about joining or not soon she would mine as well not be here at all and chased out.  Spring would give her another chance though to reply to her question or not.
He answer was confusing, she thought as the female proceeded to repeat her question. Sticking with her decission she proceeded to say "Ya, if you guys are looking for a naturalist." she paused and reprased realizing how that also didn't necessarily answer her question. "I mean, Yes. And I am a naturalist. I hope I can be of some use."
Finally Tinova gave her a straight answer and for that Spring was grateful, because they needed more recruits with their lowers numbers at the Creek.  It would be good to bring in more members, especially to have a naturalist as she didn't believe they had any.  Plus perhaps once Tivona achieved this skill she could teach it to the pups once they got older.  Give them a little education if they were interested.

"I don't believe we have yet had a naturalist Tivona.  Yet I must say I would love to have one among Silver Creek's ranks.  If you'd like to know our joining system, it's unique.  You will slowly integrate into our ranks by the border (three successful archived threads) until one day I will come to you and allow you entry which should happen within the week."  She eyed the other curiously.  "Are you up for this?"
It seemed as though the pack was interested in having a wolf with Tivona's skills. Which was really all she would have to offer at the time. Tivona would be intigrated into the pack little by little and for Tivona that was fine. Without a strong drive to join a pack she was fine with it taking a bit longer then needed. This would also be the second pack she would ever know, and the first time joining one.

It was a bit vauge though and so she questioned. "Ya that sounds good. I'm ok with it being a steady process..." she paused as she introduced her question. "So should I come back in a few days? Is there aanythign you want me to do while I'm gone?"
She gave a nod to Tivona's words.  She basically had everything right, but she didn't have to come back to the Creek in a few days, she could hang around now if she wanted to so Spring decided to point that out.  Otherwise though everything sounded great.

"You are welcome to stick around the Creek's borders starting now if you'd like.  You just need to become a little more aquainted with everyone around here (this thread + two more at Silver Creek) then you will be allowed in."  She gave the female a small, formal, yet friendly smile.
The female answered Tivona's question. Saying that she didn't need to do anything other then get more aquainted with more member of the pack, at the border. Tivona nodded and was about to turn away a leave thinking she might meet up with Olive again in the mean time, but the idea of getting th know the pack members more made her think.

"Oh. Before I go. I never caught your name." she said figuring one of the best ways to get to knwo someone was to at least know their name.
Tivona asked for her name which was pretty fair because after all Tivona had already given Spring her name so it would only be fair for Spring to give Tivona her own.  After all if one of the other members of Silver Creek wanted to know if Tivona had actually met the Alpha then it would be good for Tivona to be able to tell them her name.  So with that Spring gave it.

"I'm Spring Ciel," she told her, "it has been a pleasure to meet you Tivona and I hope to see you amongst my ranks soon."  Then with that Spring began to turn to take her leave, but she hesitated just a little bit in case Tivona had anything else to add.  Otherwise she'd leave.
