Estelle was trying to ground herself, find a way to speak with her gods, yet nothing seemed to be working. The Court was too new and yet the Wilds themselves were too vast, thus she was left to roam alone beside her own devices.
It was dangerous for a blind woman to be alone in such an unfamiliar space, but Estelle knew the risks, and still she proceeded.
"You are a long way from your glade"

she drawled as she slipped between the trees. this woman was far too close to her home; and from the reek on her pelt she came from that cursed glade. her hatred only grew, from that shallow Shalon, the their  weeping mess of a queen and the arrogant, thick skilled king. and now, one of their blindly obedient subordinates so close to her home...

her gaze glinted steel, familiar calm settling over has as she stalked closer. "Last I encountered one of your "court", I near ripped her throat out." She spat, eyes narrowed as her fangs were made visible by her silent snarl as she stalked ever closer.
Estelle froze at the sound of the woman's voice.
God, not now. It's too early, it's too bright...
Why can't this wait?
Because she hadn't been a part of the Court for long, Estelle couldn't see how their past issueshad anything to do with her. She was quite far from home, this was true, but as far as she knew, Estelle wasn't near any other borders.
Then came the threat. Estelle tensed and raised her hackles, a low rumble brewing in her chest. She tried to pad backward, away from the threat, for the sun inhibited her sight more than she liked. I didn't mean to intrude, she said through clenched teeth. All she wanted was to leave. No fights, no blood, just home.
Excuses. Stupid, stupid excuses. "And yet you have." She mused, focused on the other, drawing closer. those words were all she said before she struck, driven by rage, jaws a steel trap searching for a grip on the other's face or throat, darting forward with the speed of an adder.

battle calm settled over her, disturbed by anger that steadily grew, determined for vengeance for the many ways the court had wronged her, knowing not that this woman had had no part if that.
Estelle gave under the woman's weight. She felt her teeth slide beneath her skin and into the sensitive skin along her throat. She winced and moved away from the pain's source, trying to detach herself from her opponent's grasp. Immediately after squirming from beneath the woman's weight, Essie whined and limped away, blood pattering on the ground beneath them.
Her only hope then was to run, and that's exactly what she did. Estelle tried her damnedest to keep her paws going despite the lethargy washing over her. If she could just make it home, just to the border...
Jaws ripped flesh and the metal tang of blood filled the warlords maw, gratification shining in her gaze, feeling the flesh give beneath her grip as the woman twisted and ran. but she was a far ways from home, far too close to the woman's own for her liking.

this she gave chase in an instant, not to kill but to inspire fear, to bring justice to the hatred she felt. she taunted the other with snaps at her retreating backside, not enough to do serious harm should they land back to wound still. she would drive her until she was gone from even the ajourning territories of her home, then she would halt, to watch until the woman ran back to the shit hole she had come from, until she was gone from her sight and she returned to her Isle to wash the blood from her silver pelt.

easy.
She didn't know where she was running. Essie was too out of it to be able to pick up the scents and track her way home, let alone try doing it with the enemy at her ankles. All that she could think of was Eden.
No matter what happened, she had to get back to Eden.
So even though she was dizzy and couldn't see straight (what else was new, though), Estelle pushed onward with only her family on her mind.
