@Bonnie

Avannon had once again been moping though she found that her spirits had lifted a bit more. She did long for Jolon painfully so, and sometimes she would gaze at the stars and speak to him as if he could hear her wherever he was. It was one of those nights where the sky was full of millions of stars and a huge, spectacular moon. Lifting her gaze she spoke softly so as not to wake anyone if they were near. "Jolon...its been lonely without you. I'm frightened for you my dear though I know a strong man like you could handle him. The moon is beautiful tonight, I can almost imagine you here by my side. Asterr's daughters are magnificent little girls, one of them is so fierce."  she laughed softly as she recalled a moment with Airi. Sighing gently she rolled onto her back and stared into the sky.
Coming onto the scene (Bonnie had been lapping up the cold waters of a nearby creek before hearing the whispers of Ava), Bonnie was careful to chuff her appearance so as not to startle her friend. Howdy then, Ava. What're ya up to? She was concerned for the woman's state, but she knew better than to blurt out such inquiries. Bonnie approached quietly and laid down beside Ava, her head turned up in the same direction.
"Hey Doc. Um..not much. Really I'm just talking to Jolon..I do it often when the skies are clear at nighttime" she had looked over at Bonnie with a welcoming smile and a flick of her paw. She watched as the young woman walked over and settled herself down beside her, also turning her gaze to the stars. "it must be hard to listen to everyone's problems all day and not have someone to talk to yourself. Even if you like that sort of thing, that's a lot f weight on your shoulders. So I think I'm going to ask you....what up Doc? For real. There must be something worrying in that young mind." she spoke kindly her blue eyes sliding over to give her a comforting look.
Bonnie smiled at the concern of her friend but couldn't bring herself to think of a response. Ava was right; Bonnie rarely ever spoke about her own internal troubles. She was always too concerned with everyone around her, but routine was routine and she liked it that way. I wish I had something interesting to tell ya about, she began, but there isn't much to say. I left home on a whim with my sister and we got separated. I think she's still around the Wilds, as a matter of fact. Her name's Esther.
As her sister's name rolled off of her tongue, Bonnie choked on it and had to hold back an unexpected sob. Luckily, she was used to restraining her own reactions so no emotions were revealed, but it still shocked her to...feel.
Avannon nodded and looked at Bonnie with interest "how did you get seperated?" she inquired, her voice conversational and friendly as her blue eyes studied Bonnie. The girl had a sibling somewhere in teekon? If it were her sister she would want to find her.
Bonnie sighed as Ava continued to pry, but she didn't mind for long. After all, this was how she prodded during their first encounter too. She and her mate had a litter. Once Esther gave birth I chose to leave them. She promised she'd come find me but it's been a while. Bonnie looked down at her paws and took a deep breath but this time, she couldn't stop the whimper at her lips. I just hope she's happy, wherever she is.
Not being able to provide a good piece of advice for this situation she scooted closer and placed a paw on Bonnie's shoulder while giving the girl a warm smile " that's all you can do, right? Its better than despairing over the unknown." She said softly her gaze softening as she tried to comfort the young girl.
I suppose yer right, Bonnie agreed, though she was having trouble accepting that all she could do was forget. That's what all of this wolf eventually lead to, right? Bonnie would move onto bigger things in life, and she would have to forget about Esther, just as Esther would have to forget about Bonnie. While she shared a smile and a comforting laugh, Bonnie knew what she had to do. She had to find Esther. She wouldn't let herself forget.
Avannon studied Bonnie with a serious gaze and shook her head "I know a fake smile when i see one dear. I also believe that we should do whatever we think is right for us, and for others. So whatever you're planning on doing, make sure you know that it is the right thing in your heart" She said softly. The words were not only for Bonnie, but they were wisdom for herself as well. She had just confirmed within herself that she would fight for Jolon, and their love. It was right to love him, it was right to be with him despite his wrongs.

She loved him, and despite what others might think of her decision for doing so, she would never change how she felt. "Bonnie. Thank you. You've helped me, figure some stuff out. I still have a ways to go, but i think you set me on the right track" she said gratefully.
