You are fully encouraged to assume/pp that Arturo held a small, behind the scenes Family Meeting to tell them that he found Furiosa's body, that she was murdered and that patrols have tightened and that everyone is to be on high alert at the borders. :-) @Isley , @Olive , @Palisander , @Chusi

It was as dawn broke across the bitter cold morning that Arturo found her. His patrols had started out like any other. They did not stay ordinary. It was the scent of stale blood and Furiosa drew him to where her corpse lay, the hungry cries of the ravens like screams in his ears. He snapped at the birds, chasing them from her corpse where they had already begun to pick at her. At first, he was in denial though the hungry scavengers were tell-tale enough, followed by disbelief. Surely, the pallid and scarred corpse was not Furiosa's. She had been so commanding and so fierce that Arturo had let himself believe that she could shake even death to it's very core. She had bled out her throat, he saw as he pushed himself to investigate the crime scene. It was not a natural death and his hackles bristled with his grief and his ire. Whether it was premeditated murder or an act of war Arturo did not know. His grief threatened to upset his placid demeanor but he took a steeled breath of the cold air, closing his eyes for a moment to maintain his composure. Furiosa's was not the first corpse he'd ever seen but she had been Family and though grief (and the winter winds) froze him to the marrow of his bones the fire of his ire burned fierce within the seething embers of his gaze.

His red herring had fallen, and the culprit was long gone. He wanted justice. He wanted to avenge his Póilín. The Ceannasach looked down to her lifeless corpse once more knowing that even if he'd have found her sooner there was naught he could do. If he'd have been with her when she'd been attacked ...maybe she would live still, but he hadn't been. He paced back and forth, drawing in the stranger's scent, deducing that they were injured and wondering if sending someone out to find them was a wise decision. He could not go in search himself with Furiosa gone. And Arturo found himself ...hesitant to send any of his small Family out in search of the beast that had stolen Furiosa's life. There was no guarantee that they would return and that was not a gamble that Arturo was willing to make.

Patrols along the border would tighten and any outsider would be greeted with the hostility of The Family, unwelcome and seen as suspect until proven otherwise. Loathe as he was to leave her corpse there, to the ravens, he had to seek the Family out and tell them of his discovery (and his chosen course of action) and hope that he could wrangle some help in burying her body within the forest to ward off unwanted attention and predators. He made to gather his Family for a small meeting to relay the news and recruit whom he could to aid him in her burial.
