Set squarely where the Deepwood meets the Sentinels meets the dotted line for the Pasture on the map.

Travel from the quarry was difficult due to her dampness. She tried shaking the majority of it off, but it was as if the cold had seeped through her thick pelt and in to her very bones. The wolf headed north (against her better judgement); at first the trees seemed like a good place to hide out and recover, but the shadows they cast were more bone-chilling than the billowing wind. Miyax was not accustomed to being this cold. She was adapted for such things but with her pelt compromised, with the afternoon wearing thin, and the perpetual dark of the wood — well, it wasn't going to warm up anytime soon.

She stopped for a rest when the scent of burning became overbearing. Then, as the winds began to taste of brine, she knew she had to make a decision. If Miyax stayed hidden among the trees then she might very well freeze to death. But if she followed the thinning of the trees to the east, she might find open space — leaving her exposed to the elements, but better able to navigate and orient herself. For a handful of minutes she was stuck with the decision, pacing around a cluster of elm trees to keep herself warm and well circulated.
