The lonely woman had tried to stay along the water as much as possible, but quickly the vibrant white sand had turned to darkening mud and teetered off into the green grass she was much more accustomed to. Although the sounds of the ocean remained her faithful companion she had stumbled upon a rocky cliff, which only pushed to enlighten her further. Her surrounding were ever changing as she marched through the unknown neutrals she hadn't had the chance to explore previously. Although Shalon refrained from staying in any area for long, in fear that she would be left with her lonesome self. It was almost tragic that she had come to depend on her pack so much. She could remember a time before when she had been disgusted with the idea of needing to find comfort in others. Even when she had been part of the Court aside from Alder and Aspen she had felt like an outsider, aloof from the others. Prefering her own thoughts, than the company of her small family. However know that she could not seek them out, or was more unwilling to feel the shame of facing them, Shalon found that there was a sharp pain of loss deep within her being.

She had been lost in thought when she found her paws once again sinking in the sand. Pausing in her journey, she realized she had found a rather quiet beach. On one side there was a dark forest, and the other a field that bleed into another set of cliffs. Once again in awe of the surrounding scene Shalon was distracted from her thoughts.
Weary and near empty-bellied, Neako continued to trudge onward through the sand, his bright curious eyes peering around at the secluded beach that he now found himself roaming. Travelling quietly, the brute couldn't help but notice how the place was nestled away between the rocky cliffs to the east and a darkened forest to the west of him, gold stare observing the vast fields that spread out before reaching the forest. The wolf had journeyed far and his paws were gradually beginning to revolt against him, his tough pads stinging some as he finally slowed to a stop, a drawn-out sigh escaping his mouth as he finally slumped himself to sit upon the ground. Neako's aching paws had decided that this would be the place he'd rest and regain his strength, for now anyway.

Letting out a groan, black ears twitched a top his large skull as he listened to the sound of the water to one side of him, head turning as he brought himself to face the dancing waves of the sea and as he did so, the sight of another wolf within the distance stole his attention. The ebony male shifted his paw in the sand as his nose twitched slightly, the dark brute raising his head some as the salty aroma of the sea , along with the unique scent of an unknown female ahead, drifted into his face by the warm breeze. Quietly, the male stared down the beach, unsure of what to do as his bright orange eyes remained watching the woman, his head tilting as he gradually allowed his aching body to unwind.
