With her fur all poofed and prim, Cuicatl felt as though she looked like a million bucks. She sashayed proudly around the borders, humming a song to herself as she marked the fresh line with her own scent. Her ears remained cupped and alert, should anyone wander by, but she was overall relaxed and open to conversation, especially with one of her packmates.

A bend came around where the soil had been turned to mush, allowing Cuicatl's paw to sink in up to the joint. She cried out in disgust and yanked her forearm back, shaking away the mud. She had just come from bathing, and now she would have to go back! She decided that she would finish her current round before heading back to the pond, though she slowly began to feel more sluggish with the added insecurity.
This will be fun, since Mawk only knows English lmao

Mawk was patrolling once again, since he still wished for both the Scout and Mecenary trade. His task was, however, halted as he saw a stranger. His first instinct was to raise his hackles and approach with caution, and he did so. Though as he got closer he realised that a faint trace of Gwen lingered on her pelt. It was that alone that made him stop and think.

"Hello?"
Illecebra had no intention of stalking Mawk, but as she was patrolling from the opposite direction they both arrived near the stranger at the same time. With a goofy glance at Mawk she turned her attentions to the woman, her fur puffing up as she didnt recognize this woman at all, except for the faint trace of Gwen on her fur. The scent meant nothing to Cebra, Gwen and this woman could have just met by chance and then seperated on different paths.

Moving to go around the woman she stood next to Mawk, their pelts brushing briefly before she stepped away, deciding that affectionate gestures could hold off for now until they learned about this woman.
Hello, Cuicatl replied with a slight bow of her head, though her accent was thickly accented. Unsure of whether or not she could respond in this common tongue, but using Gwen as an example for the rest of these wolves, she decided to continue in Spanish. Usted vive aquí, ¿verdad? Soy uno de los nuevos reclutas de Gwen. Cuicatl could tell that she'd smelled these scents before, whether it have been during her initial joining or during her journey around the borders, so she thought it would be safe to assume that these were a pair of her packmates.
