south she had gone, with the intent to explore a little further. she had anchored herself quickly to a pack, and much of these lands went unexplored- a fact which she did not like in the slightest. being ignorant in such a manner did not appeal to her, and such she headed south- to the opposite side of the valley, in fact, until mountains rose not quite so far away.

the burbling of a stream sated her thirst as she passed it by, and the clear waters gave life to its banks- banks, should she explore further, ought to reveal something interesting. perhaps some plant buried, till now, by winter's snow- or new shoots of a notable plant.

There was something about the north that kept Keelut coming back for more. The air was different, or maybe it was the way the trees smelled... Oh! Perhaps there were brighter colors of maybe even darker shadows! Could that swallow's timbre be more perfect? Was there even a way for the plants to be more interesting?

Hey you! he barks, speeding up at the sight of another perhaps just as curious about the place as he was. He trotted through the meadow, jumping over the flowers with his gazelle-like gait and blessing the panorama with his elegance.

another's voice turns her head, and her gaze falls on the pale, graceful form of a boy. his fur is the thick, northern pelt of an arctic wolf, and shadows encircle his optics. she pauses, looking to him. "Hey, boy."  she echoes, though there is little lightness in her words. she finds herself tiring quickly of the cheerful, soft facade she hides very well behind at the Bypass. here, she sees no reason to keep it up in the slightest.

Dull and cold is her response, but neither of those aspects is strong enough to diminish Keelut's joy in the slightest. He pads his way to her, elegantly flaunting his assets as he slows down just before her. Isn't it an amazing day to walk in the rain? he says out of the blue with a big smile painted all across his face while looking up at the perfectly blue sky. It was not an introduction, not a serious comment, but simply a remark that occurred to him. What rain? Probably none, but it was quite the perfect moment for a bit of it.

Do you know where I could find some Sneezeweed? he asks suddenly, remembering why he'd even approached the female in first place. Then, fully indignated he adds: I've been told they grow vastly up here, but haven't had the luck to come across any!
