Sky wondered why she loved one of the creeks she found so much. She slept ate and just sat there. She never knew why though. She was born by a creek or a river but she never knew where. She needed someone to tell her. She was restless though and needed an adventure. But who would take her? Surely some wolf would come and help her out. Even if death was in her path she needed to go out.

Sky sat by the river waiting each day for someone to come. She waited for the right wolf to come.
He hadn't been in his new found home for long -- having been accepted in to the ranks, the cinnamon male was once more reserved to the fact he would need to work his way up the ranks.. and hopefully, this time, joining an established pack would promise longevity from his leader.

He loped past the borders in the morning, his eyes scanning the area with a stoical mask. His strides were leisurely, though he was quick to come across another. She sat along the edges of the creek, unmoving. His bright eyes regarded the pale yet stark ivory of her pelt. Uttering a low 'woof' of greeting, the new Creek wolf moved closer, his figure held neutrally as he took in her scent; a pack mate.
Sky turned around to see a wolf. She barked back. He was older than she, but the first thing she saw was his eyes. A unfamilliar color to a wolf like Sky. She went over to say hello. She took in his scent and remembered it. She introduced herself first. "I'm Sky, I dont belive we have met."
His eyes regarded her as she moved forward to meet him – a pale creature, with eyes as vivid as the skies above them. More interesting was the strange marking around her eye, though rather than stare in intrigue, the male settled his eyes upon her cheek.

She introduced herself, stirring a small twitch of his lips as he held back a gentle smile. Sky. How fitting. He offered a small nod then, his figure shifting as he canted his muzzle slightly. “Scimitar,” he offered in return, his muzzle giving a nod to the waters she had moved away from. “I hope I’m not intruding.”
Sky knew he did see the swirl and the dots."You're not intruding, I was just looking for an adventure." Sky felt like he could feel she was restless. She didn't sleep for the last two days. Sky was hoping he would take her someplace, a change of scenery.
He wasn't quite expecting the words that slipped past her mouth -- the open honesty of it was somehow whimsical as if he were speaking to pup that was yet corrupted by the world. It was a sudden reminder that he was older than many of the wolves he had come across thus far in the Creek, and somehow this thought perturbed him -- was he so swiftly passing the prime of his life without any accomplishments?

Scimitar was never one to dwell in pity, though, and amusement pressed to his muzzle in form of a smirk as he canted his muzzle slightly. "Looking for adventure sitting by a creek? I don't think you're going to find much there, darlin'," he spoke, his tone a gentle rumble.
Sky had thought of that before, but she was mostly hoping a swiftcreek wolf would had taken her to the adventure." I know I was hoping a Swiftcreek wolf would had taken me." Sky looked at the wolf trying to see how old he really was. She saw maturity and responsibility in his eyes. She guessed three years old. And she was exact.
He was starting to consider the possibility that turning tail and having left her to her thoughts would have been the easier route -- somehow, demanded adventure and appeasing his new leaders did not seem like something that would mix.

He almost didn't want to ask. "And what kind of adventure did you have in mind?" Yet he did it anyway. Rolling his shoulders back, Scim stretched leisurely, prowling forward a bit more and closing even more distance between them. Veering off to the side for a moment, his muzzle stretched down, his tongue lapping at the cool creek waters as he awaited her response.
"I don't know, I was hoping the person would take me to lands of the unknown, the unexplored." Sky was ready to stretch her legs and run. She wanted to see other packs. Swim in the ocean and others.
Pan had been watching the wolves intently, concealing himself behind a rough bush nearby. He crouched down and listened to their talk of adventure. Pan too had an itch for an adventure, and he guessed that spying on a pair of very strong wolves was adventure enough.

Just before him he spotted a small field mouse grooming itself. He didn't know if the wolves could smell it but he crouched even further and wiggled his butt, intent on catching this field mouse, even if it meant the wolves noticing his presence. The field mouse was chewing on a small nut when Pan decided to pounce. He grabbed the field mouse between his teeth and froze when he finally saw the two wolves, noticing how big they were compared to him.
No, it was definitely a mistake having asked.

Another grunt escaped him as he lifted his muzzle then, water droplets forming upon his chin as he cast his eyes back to the direction of the lands the Creek pack had claimed. "If you want an adventure why not go to Fox and ask permission to explore the surrounding lands?" There was a small pause before his eyes drifted back over her, once more settling upon the intricate marking around her eye. "She doesn't strike me as the type of Alpha that would approve of her members simply disappearing for a period of time without warrant or notice," he decided then, finally pressing his haunches back to the ground as he sat. He certainly wasn't looking to piss her off -- she was a small little thing, but he did not doubt the spitfire nature that he had caught sight of upon his initial meeting with her.

About to suggest they simply explore the nearby lands for now, a rustle in the brush caught his attention. Within moments, the large male was upon his paws, his hackles bristling as he regarded the shadows for a moment. No bird flew out to the trees above, and no squirrel or rabbit dashed away in fear. No, this was something else.

The wind was not in his favor, but he was not one to take chances and simply shake the unknown creature out. "Show yourself," he responded smoothly, taking a few paces forward to block the brush from Sky. "Or I'll drag you out by your tail and keep it as a souvenir for my den." He didn't have a den yet.. but whatever had been spying on them did not know that.
Pan emerged slowly, the field mouse still dangling from his mouth, it's small legs twitching. He dropped the mouse to the ground and stood tall and proud. I'm Pan. He said confidently. I also want adventure. He laughed inside to himself at his sheer boldness of attempting to befriend these two very large wolves. He smiled brightly anyway.
Sky bristled her fur. She had never seen a fox before. She just knew they were thiefs and liars. She had heard of some foxes stole and ate prey and then denied of it even though their mouth was stained of the blood. She approached Pan slowly. She sniffed him to remember his scent. She then backed away and went to drink some water.

She had never asked Fox anything about exploring she went over to her and asked Fox if she could go with Scimtar if they could go on an adventure.
Not.. sure what to do here since Sky pretty much.. exited when searching for Fox, who isn't even in this thread? Exiting Scim. Sorry he's an ass. ;)

The fox crept out from its hiding place, causing the cinnamon male’s eyes to narrow slightly. It dropped a field mouse at its tiny paws, boasting the inclination for adventure as well –leaving Scimitar with the very conclusion that both creatures before him were crazed in some fashion.. perhaps it was the creek water. Cringing inwardly at this ludicrous suspicion a she recalled his drink only moments before, te agouti wolf could only hope he also was not inflicted with the childish whimsy of grand adventures through rolling fields and hills.

Ushering a snort, he was about to dismiss himself when the she-wolf moved forward, inspecting the fox with slight distaste. Without a word, she slipped away.. back to the territory. Blinking, Scimitar gave a light shake of his muzzle, once more riveting his gaze upon the smaller beast before him. “’Scuse me,” he decided with a rumble, his muzzle bowing slightly mockingly. “This is my chance to escape the two crazies.” Without another word, the male loped off, in a very different direction than Sky had slipped away to, and far away from the neurotic fox that had boasted such bravery near his jaws.

Already he was wondering what in the world he had walked in to when promising his loyalty to Fox and her pack.. especially if these were the kind of members that floated within its ranks.
Bahaha. Loved his exit. :)

Pan shrugged and proceeded to tear the flesh of the small mouse and enjoy the meal quickly. He trotted back near the creek in search of more fun. He liked the large wolves and he was happy his neck was still in tact. However, he hoped they would be more enthusiastic. Afterall, Pan would be an excellent exploration companion. He was brave and funny and intelligent and quick...his egotistic thoughts ceased when he spotted another field mouse. Seconds! He said cheerfully, crouching into position again...
