Libra had gone off to hunt a few days ago and had ended up coming across a large feline of some sort, the name of the species unfamiliar to her. She had been beaten and bloodied so bad she had been unable to walk back.
She tended her wounds by washing and placing moss on them, but she still had infections in the large claw marks on her shoulder, and her missing ear was oozing a bright yellow pussy that stank too high heaven. Once she felt strong enough to walk back she limped to the borders and howled for
@Valette. She hoped the woman would take her back or at least give her some medicibe to tend herself with.
I had to create a quick reason for Libras absence and this is what I came up with xD
Valette was glad when someone howled at the borders. It gave her something to do. It wasn't like the female didn't have anything to do but talking with someone else would give her a distraction. She hadn't been too familiar with Libra to recognize her howl, but she did recognize her the moment she stood at their borders. She was battered and broken. Valette wondered where she went.
"Libra!," she let out in shock.
She saw the injured shoulder and winced. It made her think of Steady. Though she looked better than he had. He died after all. Valette instantly howled at
@Krypton. She was a healer and much needed right now.
"What happened?," she asked worriedly.
Libra was relieved to see Valette answer her call, and promptly sat down taking a few breaths before answering the question that the alpha had spoken "I went to go hunt out of borders, and ended up being the hunted." She said in her usual soft spoken voice. Her shoulder throbbed again and she winced shifting her weight to the other leg.
"Some kind of big feline. It attacked me and got some good shots in before I fought back and it decided I wasnt worth the effort. I cleaned my wounds in a stream and placed moss on them until I was strong enough to come back" she explained further. She ducked her head and flicked her ears back "I am sorry miss Valette, I didn't mean to disappear" she finished casting her eyes down.
The howl of Valette caused the beast to hurry out of her den after making sure Aurora was in good hands before setting off. The tone of urgency made Krypron push herself into a quick and long stride lope towards her. Traveling through some trees and grass, the burly woman finally saw two in front of her, one of which she recognized as Valette, the other as Libra who smelt different.
Kryoton made her way over before taking a closer look at Libra, noticing her wounds and such. She eyes her with a worried glance before tossing a look towards Valette. She didn't catch their conversation as she made her way over, but all she knew was that Libra needed to be treated and quickly.
"Libra, what happened?" She asked quickly before stepping closer and looking her over.
Valette hushed her softly. "Of course you are welcomed back. Don't worry. I understand why you were away," she assured the female. She had the feeling stress wouldn't really help the other. Luckily Krypton arrived quickly. "Ah Krypton! Libra got hurt by a big cat and her wound seems infected," she explained. Even though the female had licked it, the wound didn't look good.
"Can you treat it? Do you need my help?," she asked. Perhaps Krypton needed an extra set of paws and mouth to help this female. "Don't worry Libra. Krypton is a very good healer," Valette spoke. Hopefully, this female would be healed quickly. She disliked that she was attacked by a cat. Her mother died from such an attack.
