This is my IC Joining thread. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Alyss padded towards the scent of the pack, with the same, mischievous glint on her eye. She paused when the scent got stronger, taking the sign that she was at the border. Quickly making sure her pelt was in order, she tilted back her head and howled. Hello? Anyone over there that I can talk to?

Lowering her head, the small, white wolf produced a stupid grin on her face.
Jace heard the howl and the dark shadow kissed male loped towards the borders. He knew Njal and Bazi wouldn't be far behind him, but he didn't mind meeting the new recruits he could put names to faces that way. He made it there in record time, mostly due to the long legs he wore.

He slowed to a walk when he saw the white wolf standing there. What was with it and all the white wolves in the area. She was tiny compared to him, granted most were, but she was more so. He nodded at her I'm Jace What can I do for yo ufriend?
Bazi spotted Jace only moments after the howl reached her ears. She finished the patch of fur she was presently working on, and jogged to catch up with her pack-mate.

The wolf that had summoned her was waiting obediently at the line that separated Swiftcurrent proper from what was technically 'neutral' territory, but the wolves of the Creek were more possessive than that. Duck Lake in particular was a hotly contested area, and Bazi was twitchy about strangers in Wapun Meadow, too.

This wolf was even smaller than the diminutive Beta, and utterly dwarfed by Jace. She was white and blue-eyed like Bazi and Sky, and it made the former wonder if the entirety of the north was migrating through the Teekon Wilds. Perhaps the sickness had spread further, beyond her own pack.

Channeling Fox's no-nonsense approach to border meets, Bazi nudged the dark Gamma's shoulder and strode into the stranger's personal space with head and tail held high, sniffing curiously at her face and ears. There was no hint of wrong in her scent - only wolf. Satisfied with that, Bazi stepped back beside Jace and fixed Alyss with a curious stare. "More importantly, what can you do for us? I need a few extra scouts."
The happy-go-lucky wolf's grin grew wider as two wolves approached. Quickly, she immediately dropped her tail. "You can call me Alyss, and if it's scouts you're looking for, I'm a wolf you can count on!"

Her mischievous glint softened. "I'd like to join your pack, if it's at all possible..."
Jace gave Bazi a smile but averted his eyes and dipped his muzzle in respect to her. Hunting is always good too. he just murmured that part quietly. They were down a hunter with Tuwawi being with pups and Njal was good too, but Jace didn't expect him to be 100percent perfect wtih the hunting with his impending fatherhood coming.

He just waited and watched waiting for any orders that he would get or if he was just to an observer today.
Jace really was the model pack-mate. Had he claimed the Beta position before her, Bazi would likely have struggled to hide her jealousy - but he took it in his stride. Everyone served the pack, of course, and she knew that, but doing so from the top was rather more satisfying. In that sense, she was a lesser soul than he - for all the darkness the trouble Gamma claimed to possess.

Bazi angled an ear in his direction, but failed to catch the murmured words. Something something good? "Jace, what say you we introduce this one to Scout?" she said, moving in a tight circle around the pale loner. They looked very much alike, and that bothered Bazi on some vain level - she prized the uniqueness of her coat in the south, but the Creek was now flooded with white, blue-eyed girls. Similar physique, similar bright, sweet personality.. at least, that was what Bazi the Beta had originated from. She was harder now, and less bouncy - more like her mother every day.

She stopped at the petite wolf's shoulder, facing Jace. "They can prepare for that coast trip together. Do you want to come, by the way, my great and handsome guardian?" This was accompanied by a toothy grin - Jace had proven himself useful on the road, and this time he wouldn't have to carry anything. Alyss would presumably be thrilled to earn her place, and whatever opinion she had of the suggestion was not taken into account.

I'm going to title you and send Alyss on her way to find Scout with Jace as a 'first mission'. :D
Alyss grinned. "Scout? That's an odd name, but in a good way. A coast trip too, eh? What are we gonna do? Little bit o' adventuring?"

The smaller female chuckled. "I have no choice to accompany you, if that's what it takes to prove my place among the pack."
Jace listened he raised an eyebrow at Bazi and her comment. Really waht was going on with these females they were all going crazy. Sky had sobbed into his fur the other day, Athena had stared into his eyes and had a funny look on her face which was fine, it was just strange for him and now Bazi was calling him handsome.

He smiled at her with his lopsided grin trademark Okay I'll come with you. I'll take her to see SCout too if you like.
Concluding! This is my last post - welcome to SC. :D

Jace gave her a confused look, but Bazi only smiled slyly at him. To Alyss, she said "I suppose you don't. And yes - a bit of adventuring. You never know what manner of useful things we'll find out there. Off you go, then - find Scout."

With a bark to punctuate, Bazi wheeled around and trotted back towards the center of the territory, leaving Jace to deal with the newcomer. There was scarcely a soul in the pack she trusted more with such business; no wolf would go up against Jace without first considering their odds of getting out alive very, very careful.
"BYE!" she screeched loudly and playfully after the white wolf. She turned to the dark contrast, shaking herself of any dust she picked up.

"Alright. Let's go meet this Scout, hmm?"
*jace last post*
Jace gave the small white female a grin and motioned with his muzzle. this way Alyss." he started a slowv walk towards the center of the territory. glancing back to make sure he wasn't losing her with his stride.
