I checked Pacific Northwest snakes, this is TECHNICALLY a snake that could inhabit Teekon Wilds... Don't hit me >.<

The charcoal marked wolf had had a stuffy morning making pots, organizing her personal cache and supplies, and cleaning the den. She felt she deserved a brisk walk. While she did so, she patrolled the border in her free-time, just to do some extra pack work for someone who would have to do it at some point.

She had just renewed a marked border when she began taking a step. Her paw froze midway in the air when she heard the soft rattling.

Her breath slowed down as her heart began to beat with primal fear. Slowly, she lifted her tail to warn others of the danger, should they happen to pass by.

With slow movements, she turned her head to pinpoint the sound.

There it was, under a bush not a few feet in front of her, was a Western rattlesnake, coiled and ready for a warning strike.
OOC: Hello! Since Tyrande is going to have to heal Majesty at some point, I give you full permission to PowerPlay!

IC: Majesty chased blindly after his breakfast that morning. A grey-furred hare bounded swiftly ahead of him, trying desperately to get away. But he was determined to catch it and eat it. He hadn't eaten in two days and, despite being a wolf - who could go a week at a time without food - it was starting to affect him. He really wanted that rabbit.

So, he continued the chase. He was focused on moving forward, that when the rabbit suddenly veered to the left, he wasn't prepared for it, and crashed straight into a bush. His face smashed into the bush's foliage, and he yelped when he suddenly felt something sting him on the paw. He stumbled past the bush, now on only three legs, and suddenly came face-to-face with a very surprised Tyrande Nightshade. He opened his mouth to give her a greeting, and then let out a pathetic whimpering sound instead, looking down at his paw, which was already swelling up.

He looked around for what could have possibly caused this wound, and saw, to his utter dismay, a snake slithering away from the bush he had just crashed into. "Oh no…" he murmured, feeling light-headed. He had just been bitten by a snake.
If Tyrande ever had an Oh, shit moment in her life, it would be now. She was startled as she heard the beating of fast, heavy footsteps.

The snake must've been startled, too. As soon as Majesty landed on top of it, it reared, and with lightning fast speed, struck out at the male. she watched the fall happen while the snake took the confusion for an escape route.

As soon as she realized what happened, she immediately grabbed Majesty's shoulder with her teeth, muttering, Stand perfectly still. Don't move, don't panic, and don't raise your paw above your heart.

She let go and frantically looked around the nearby forests. With relief, she began to find Rattlesnake Master. She found strong forest vines and she quickly ran to her den to grab her sunflower and her poppy seeds.
If there was one thing Majesty was good at, it was remaining cool under pressure, though the more time he spent at the Teekon Wilds, the more he began questioning this trait about himself. He didn't seem to be very good at it recently. But this was absolutely important - it could mean the difference between his life and death. So when his pack's toxicologist told him not to move, not to panic, and not lift his paw above his heart, he heeded her words like a man holding to a cliff with only one hand, desperately hoping not to plummet to his death.

He watched helplessly as she dashed away and hoped that he was getting help or supplies - anything that might save him. He forced himself into his meditating mindset, remembering to keep control over his breathing. He closed his eyes and began to recite his pack's history as a way to calm his mind.

"My father and mother, King and Serena, left their original packs behind to form a new one…" He continued reciting as he waited for Tyrande to return. He knew he might be putting his life into her paws…
aaeeei! Sorry, I've been VERY VERY busy lately!

Tyrande rushed back to Majesty in little time. She quickly spread her supplies out. She began tightly wrapping the strong forest vines around the base of his leg, effectively cutting down circulation to his heart.

She looked at him. This is gonna hurt

With that, she aimed towards the infected paw and bit down, opening the wound even more.
It's fine, lol. Majesty's just been standing here, dying of a rattlesnake bite for a few days. No biggie. ;) Lol. BTW, have you seen my pledge thread for you yet?

Majesty howled in pain as Tyrande's teeth sunk into his paw. If he had been anyone else, he might have asked her what the hell she thought she was doing. But his mother had been a Healer, so he had some idea. She was probably opening the wound so that she could suck out the poison, or something to that effect. It still hurt, though.

He waited for her to continue, hoping she would do it quickly, whatever she was doing. And he hoped the would heal quickly, too. He really didn't feel like dying of rattlesnake venom today. He laughed bitterly as he thought about how that would definitely put a hamper on his plans for a new pack. Which reminded him, he still needed to get her pledge so that they could all move forward with it.
