OOC: @Lecter
IC: Majesty sat on his haunches in the Heartwood, looking around with a heavy heart. His conversation the other day with Jinx's mate had left him feeling uneasy. He didn't often lose his temper and snap at people like that, and so that day's events pressed down on him like a raincloud. He was usually quick to apologize when things like that happened, so that's what he was planning on doing now. He tipped his head back and called for the wolf, hoping he would get the message, as he didn't know what name to use. He had never caught it.
As he waited, his stomach churned in anticipation, so he bent down to chew on some grass. This reminded him of his mother, and he smiled fondly as memories raced across his mind. He thought of his father, King, and those days as a pup spent memorizing their entire pack's history. He could still recite most of it by heart even now, years later. With these good memories in mind, his heart calmed a bit, and he waited.
Hi! Sorry this is so late. I've been busy/slow lately... >.<
Majesty heard Lecter's warning growl and turned to face the male. He noticed that the white wolf's hackles were raised, but he also noticed that Lecter didn't seem to necessarily be in attack mode. He seemed to be somewhere in the middle. He knew he would have to speak quickly, or the white male would stop listening. He gave a friendly bow, and began.
"I... Well..." He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry... about what happened the other day, between us. I... said some things I'm not proud of, and apologize for it." He kept his voice calm and honest. "I hope you'll forgive me. I hope we can be friends." He knew this was a long shot, but he was never one to put the past behind him without doing his best to reconcile it. Anxiously, he awaited the white wolf's reply.
Majesty saw the open hatred of him in Lecter's ice-blue eyes. He sighed. He had known this probably wasn't going to work. But still - the blatant shut-down irritated him. In all honesty, he was tired of dealing with this puffed-up male's ego. He suppressed the growl that threatened to spill into his speech, and said something he never thought he would say in a million years.
"Fight me. I am tired of dealing with your insolence. So fight me. Now." He stared at Lecter, the challenge obvious in his eyes and in his stance. He would not back down this time. He would not put up with this shit from anyone anymore. He was tired of constantly being nice. The anger he had been suppressing seemed to boil over finally and he couldn't control it anymore. He waited expectantly for something violent to happen, bracing himself. He knew that whatever happened next, he would not be part of this pack much longer.
So... sparring thread? I'd rather it be a sparring thread so that each of us has an equal chance of winning or losing. Either way, Majesty is going to leave the pack regardless, I just wanna see if he can beat the shit out of Lecter first. ... <3 If you don't actually wanna fight at all, that's fine too.
i'm gonna have to decline, only because this fight would mess up a lot of timeline threads for me, and bc majesty would totally kick lecter's ass, haha. however, i'm not gonna try and powerplay majesty's reactions to lecter ;)
The dark male put forth a challenge, and Lecter watched him for a moment, and then laughed. Majesty was worth nothing, and as before, he gave the other a scornful look before turning his back, not deigning to soil his paws tangling with the fool.
It would have been foolhardy of Majesty to pursue, to attack, but Lecter was doubtful of the sable male's intentions. His body tensed, but he maintained his stance and moved away in direct flaunt of the other's demand.
Um... Could you tag on an ending after this just so it gets to ten posts so I can actually use it for something?
Majesty snorted in anger as Lecter simply walked away from him. This apology had gone completely south of what he had planned, and now he was angry. For a moment or two, he contemplated attacking the disgusting creature, but then thought better of it. Why waste his time with this filth? He had better things to do.
Mainly, those "better things" consisted of going and meditating on what had just happened. His encounter with Lecter had left his nerves on the fritz. He needed to go calm himself, before something bad happened to him. With one last glance at Lecter, he turned and went farther into the Heartwood to find a good spot to lie down...
