He had not expected the philisophical words, and he was, in a way, stunned into silence by it. He bowed his head to her, and he indeed hoped so. "I hope we do...you have a good singing voice, and I hope to one day hear it again" he said. He waited a bit more, hoping to hear one last time before leaving. Then he turned away, going off again. But not without giving her one last glance, then giving a charmed wink.
ah, perhaps she had not quite failed completely. a compliment, and a wink, were thrown her way, and the smile grew in the slightest, the woman glancing once more at him before turning on her heel, picking her way through the snows. Her departure was not, however, silent; the humming began as she made her way away from the red furred man, the singing a moment later.

"go to sleep, you little baby-"
