she tracked her brother's scent south. it had been somewhere near here she had met dauntless and her thoughts went out to him — she wondered briefly how his younger siblings were settling in for surely they would have been born by now.
but she does not have much time to linger on these thoughts. the maplewood smells well-frequented and if she is going to find alarian she must move through it with haste.
