So this post got magically deleted too.. anyways this was meant to be the thread where Galileo claims his den.
Replies are welcomed if not it'll be a read-only thread

A million tiny flashing light blinked at the world, like tiny cameras flashing capturing every single second of the lifes of every single creature below. Galileo did not need a camera to remember that moment, what was going on in his life would be forever inscripted in his memory and carefully stored in his heart. The 4 year old male finally had a place where he belonged.

He could finally have the tranquility to sleep without fearing being ambushed or attacked in the dark. He now had the security of the pack to back him up if he ever needed it. After 3 years living almost on his own he finally had the oppostunity to interact with others, to share his laughter and his sorrows, there would be no more endless nights of crying to the moon.

----

As happy as he was Galileo knew he had to get settled in, but before calling it a night and going to sleep under his loyal companions -the stars- he decided to get to know his surrounding a bit more. So he began trailing along the famous creek that gave the pack it's name. His paws moved swiftly along the edge, while his dark ears swiveled like little radars. While he paced parallel to the rushing water a funny looking tree sitting on a small hill caught his eyes.

With curiosity prickling in his chest he approached, noting that there was a tunnel hidden behind the roots. He peered inside always keeping caution, since one could never now what sort of creature lived around. All scents coming from the burrow were stale so Galileo decided to go in. Slowly he crept down the tunnel that led him to a well dug den, with a dusty slab of rock in the middle and a couple of animal skins in the corner.

Galileo sniffed every single item on the den, coming to the conclusion that in fact the den had once been a home to a wolf, but was now abandoned. The senior male looked around feeling comfortable inside the den he suddenly decided to make it his own. Quickly he began to rub against the rock table and the walls trying to impregnate his scent onto the den, he even rolled over the skins just to be sure.

Then with his heart thumping inside his chest, he crawled out the tunnel and placed the cherry on the top of the cake by making a point to get the tree to carry his scent as well. He sniffed its trunk and urinated over its roots sealing the deal and making the abandoned den his.
