Ypres had returned from her nightly patrol, and needed to report any unusual or displeasing sightings. It was her duty to do so, and she took pride in what she needed to do. The newly appointed Delta padded forth towards an upper rock and called out for Majesty. She had not so pleasing news to deliver to him when it came to the neighboring pack stating that they had better keep off of their lands when it came to hunting. And that of a few other things she had taken note of around here.

Ypres was not overly thrilled to have to be the bearer of bad news, and she hated to have to rat out some of the pack wolves of displeasing behavior, and the interloping of the disrespectful Silvertip Mountain wolf. Ypres had a good mind to rip her throat out for her distasteful reaction to her just doing her job by looking out for Silvermane, and making sure borders were secure. However Silvermane declared the wolfess his friend, so therefore Ypres did not drive off the offender.

Ypres was not a happy camper about all of this, and wondered what the hell Majesty was going to think or say, or even do... Only time would tell upon his arrival...
Hi! For future reference, you can tag me inside the post instead of in the title. Just use the @ symbol and then type in my name right next to it. No spaces. Like this: @Majesty. If you do that, it'll auto-send a PM that tells me I've been tagged and gives me a link to the thread. You can do that with any member of Wolf at any time. If it works, when you post the thread, the tag will be blue. If it doesn't work, it'll be black. All you normally have to do to fix that is click the Edit button at the top of your post and go to either Quick or Full Edit, don't do anything to the post, and then click Update Post on the bottom and it should work. Also, I'm going to assume that's it midday. Is that all right? Also also, I'm marking this as private since you tagged specifically me.

Majesty was organizing his den with all of the new medicinal herbs he had brought back from his trip along the coastline when he heard Ypres calling for him. He was happy to have promoted her to Delta, as she had recently shown much initiative within the pack and he hoped she would stay. He had every intention of telling her that she was doing a great job, so he happily loped across the island to her when he got the howl. But when he arrived on top of the rock she had chosen, and saw her face, it disturbed him. She did not look happy.

Worriedly now, he approached her. "Ypres," he said, bowing his head in greeting. "What is it, friend? You look troubled. Is everything all right?" He sat down before her, ready to hear whatever it was she had to tell him. He had always made it clear that there was to be no secrets between pack members, so if she was having a problem, he was all ears.
ooc: Oh awesome! Thank you! I knew I was forgetting to do something along those line... Oopsie me! lol :-)

Ypres awaited the arrival of Majesty, he did indeed arrive sooner than she anticipated, but after all he was Alpha, and Alpha's had no time to bide when it came to reporting an issue that a member may have thought to have had. She watched as he hurried towards her and greeted her with a dip of his skull. She too bowed but lowered her bow more to show she was accepting his dominance upon arrival; and that she acknowledged that she was that of lower rank still. He then spoke asking her what was troubling her.

Majesty my friend, I have come to report some urgent news.

She watched as the Alpha sat down before her, and she too comfortably sat facing him, as she wrapped her tail around her hind limbs.

Three Messengers had arrived from Horizon Ridge to claim that we picked our home base too close to their borders. They state that Ravensblood and Totoka river are their hunting grounds and we will be chased from them if caught hunting on those grounds. They are increasing border patrols too sir... They also say that we should be staying far away from Silvertip Mountain's hunting grounds as well.

Ypres shifted her weight with discomfort as she looked down to her paws. Should she tell about Silvermane's behavior? She decided to let Majesty know about it, due to the fact that one could get hurt or be taken out by another pack's members due to vulnerability. She lifted her eyes back upon Majesty and frowned.

And I'm worried for Silvermane. He was acting quite strange.. He states that he had ingested Poppy seeds and it seems to take some sort of ill affect on him.. I believe he was left vulnerable to another wolf from Silvertip Mountain. The two claimed to know one another, but I'm weary about this girl, her calling is Cara. She's highly disrespectful, and to see a higher ranking male such as Silvermane to act accordingly makes me doubtful of his position.

She frowned and bit the bottom of her lips feeling nervous that she had even told on a fellow pack member. As for the other wolf, she didn't care for. As far as Ypres was concerned, she was not welcome on these lands.

I caught the two over at the shores by the mainland border.

She added. She awaited to see what the Alpha had to say for himself, and what should happen if another wolf from Silvertip Mountain should arrive; and what she can do about it. Leave it be, or chase them off... Ypres was soon to find out.
Also, to do this small grey text, which is OOC text, write this "[*ooc]" Then write text. Then do this "[*/ooc]". Just take off the quotation marks and the stars.

Majesty listened intently as Ypres spoke. She brought up three things that worried him. One was that, apparently, three members of Horizon Ridge had come to warn the wolves of Wheeling Gull Isle to stay off of "their" turf, claiming that Ravensblood Forest and Totoka River were their hunting grounds. Majesty could understand Ravensblood Forest being theirs, but he believed that they should be able to share the river, seeing as it split directly down the middle of Sequoia Coast.

Ypres also spoke of Silvermane, and his apparently getting high off of poppy seeds. And she spoke of Cara. At the mention of his previous pack-mate, Majesty became worried - though more confused than worried. "Cara?" he repeated, brows drawn together. "What was she doing here? Come to think of it, I thought I scented Silvertip Mountain during a border patrol the other day... I thought it might have been..." He shook his head. He wasn't sure whether to bring Erika up here or not. Though with these three troubling things swimming in his mind, he knew it was high time for another pack meeting.

He looked at Ypres, focusing once more on the present moment. "Thank you for telling me these things. I shall... meditate on them. For now, I'd like you to double your patrols of the borders. My policy on allowing other wolves to come and go still stands, as long as they are not trying to harm anyone, but if anyone does show up, come and tell me immediately, or summon me to you. Is that understood?"
The message from her Alpha was Crystal. She knew to summon him if anything; it was protocol to do so. Ypres nodded her skull as she looked her boss over.

"Yes. I understand my leader."

She thought back to when he mentioned that he scented Silvertip Mountain wolves. She wanted to question his words, but decided against it. It was not of her business, she was only Delta, not Beta. She stretched gently as she was getting ready to leave. Did he have anything more to say? Ypres meant business. She often stayed a short and brief period between meeting wolves and finding out what was going on. Also a wolf who bore few words. She was the observer and learned by watching.

"I must get back to patrolling sir. Unless there is something more you need to tell me. "
I'll have this requested to be archived now. Feel free to write a last response.

Majesty shook his head when Ypres asked if there was anything else he needed to tell her. "No," he said. "Go on about your day. And Ypres? Keep up the good work and I might promote you to Beta."

He grinned at her. "I've been very impressed with you. You haven't been here very long, but you've moved up the ranks quickly. I think you're a fine member of this pack, and I appreciate all the hard work." He bowed his head to her, out of respect, and then looked up. "You are dismissed."

With that, he stood and walked away.
