@Majesty Lets do this! I'll solve my problems with Malcom later.

Naya got up early that morning... She had been thinking of going to look for her brother for days now because it had been weeks since she last saw him.. She couldn't stand being part of a pack and being safe while her brother was out there alone.

Still dark and cold, stars glowing in the sky, Naya came out of her den and went to a nearby pond to get some fresh water before leaving, and then she headed the coast. The waves crashed softly in the beach and the gulls screamed in the background. Naya allowed herself to just stand there in the sand and listen for a moment before departing. It could be days she'd be out there, alone, before she found him, if she found him, but she was determined to do it.

The tide was low and so the sandbar was in its best moment to be crossed. Naya took a few steps forward, with her tail pointing the sky and her eyes fixed to the mainland, to her brother.

Majesty was out early that morning, having awoken before the dawn and not been able to get back to sleep. He was patrolling the borders, freshening the scent markers around the Isle. He had just gone around to the shoreline facing the mainland when he spotted Naya stepping out of water onto to the sandbar. The water was... oddly low this time of day. It did not normally reach low tide until the middle of the day, but he shrugged it off. It might have had something to do with the strange weather that had been having. Lots of thunder, not much rain. He didn't know what to think of it.

Curiously, he called out to Naya. "What are you doing?" he asked her, loping forward at a quicker pace to reach her before she left. "Where are you going at this time of day? You should be asleep still." He had caught up with her at this point, and was standing beside her on the sandbar. The water went up to his ankles, and it was cold enough to make his paws numb. He was beginning to fear that they would be trapped on the island during the late fall to mid spring due to the temperature of the water. But those concerns were not important now.

He waited patiently for Naya to give her answer.
lol Sorry about the tide thing, I still don't know how that works...

Naya was focused on going forward and nothing was gonna stop her now, she had already got to the sandbar and she was determined to cross it, but a voice in between the soft crashing sound of the waves made her stop abruptly; her ears pricked towards the voice and she turned her head to identify its owner, it was Majesty. Sh*t!- she thought. Naya didn't mean to escape the island or anything, but she didn't want to worry anyone in the pack, nor she wanted anyone to stop her, so the morning was the perfect time to depart.

"I.. umm... I'm going.." Naya tried to think of an excuse, but then she remembered Majesty's rules -No secrets- "oh f*ck.." she mumbled lowering her head "I didn't want to worry anyone Maj.. But I need to find my brother, and I need to do it on my own" she didn't actually want to do it alone but she thought Malcom wouldn't take anyone as friendly as she did, and still somewhere deep in her heart she hoped Majesty would come with her, she felt safe around him..
Lol it's fine. I actually have no clue how tides work in real life, so I'm going with something simple: high tide is at midnight. Low tide is at midday. So since it's right before dawn, that means it's somewhere between high tide and low tide, which means the water should be up to your mid-legs, about (a wolf's mid-legs). At low tide, it's around your ankles, at high tide, it's up to your shoulders. And also, just remember that this only means anything when talking about the sandbar. Anywhere in regular water, just use common sense.

Majesty sighed as Naya told him what she was planning. He shook his head, suddenly feeling like a father. "Naya," he said. "I'm disappointed in you. You aren't thinking very clearly right now. Why would you ever go on this journey alone?"

Now, he wasn't one to talk. He often went on runs halfway across the Wilds without anyone else and thought nothing of it. However, he was much bigger than Naya - he was much bigger than a lot of wolves - and he knew he could hold his own if he was forced to fight. Naya, on the other hand, had probably never had any training in fighting, and she was fairly small. This was not a trip to be taken by herself. Majesty knew there was only one real solution.

"I'm coming with you," he said. "No arguing. I'm not letting one of my wolves go on a journey that could take days or weeks by themselves. So," he stepped up onto the sandbar beside her, "where to first?"
Majesty spoke, questioning Naya's decision, not that she didn't expect it, she knew it wasn't safe. Naya stuck her tail between her legs and lowered her head in an apologetic gesture "I know it's not safe Maj, I just feel like I owe it to him, I left him alone, that was selfish of me"

The Alpha spoke once again, "I'm coming with you" Naya raised her head and her ears sticked up "No Maj, you have things to do here and..." Majesty didn't let her finish and stepped up beside her, insisting in coming along.. there was nothing else to say, she had to obey her Alpha, and she actually felt relief for not having to go on her own.

Naya stared at Majesty's eyes for a couple seconds *sigh* "Ok then..." she barked rolling her eyes "I don't think he'll be too far from where you last saw him, he's probably still looking for us but somewhere he can hunt easily..." she stopped for a second to think of possible places he might had been "I'm thinking river maybe, or a lake..."
I guess I only thought I responded to this already... lol. >.< Also, I kind of sort of power-played by having Majesty touch Naya. Tell me if you want me to change it.

Majesty bumped his snout against Naya's chin in an attempt to get her to lift her head. "It's all right, Naya," he said gently. "There's no reason to stick your tail between your legs like that. I was just worried about what might have happened to you out there had I not caught you in time."

He smirked at her as she began to protest, and then sighed and said, "Okay then..." It would not have mattered what she said. He still would have gone. Besides, he had met Malcom once already. He knew that if anything happened to Naya, Malcom was probably going to come kick his ass. That was not what he wanted to happen.

When she spoke of him either being at a lake or a river, he hmm'd in thought. "Well..." he began after a time. "Last time I saw him, he was running out of Neverwinter Forest in the Great Bear Wilderness. Since he doesn't know where to look for you, he's probably somewhere there. That means he's either at Whitefish River, Big Salmon Lake, or Greatwater Lake. We'll have to be careful when we go looking for him. We don't want to alert Jinx or any of the other Mountain wolves. If they see me - or Malcom, for that matter - they'll be all over us and we may not make it back alive."

He paused, letting the severity of what he had just said sink in. "Stick close to me when we leave, alright? I'll protect you. And you have to promise to do as I say. If I tell you to run, you do it. Even if it means leaving me to die. Okay? You have to promise me, or I won't let you go at all. Do you promise?" He looked at her now, straight into her eyes, keeping his expression quite serious.
It's ok, I think that's really sweet of Maj :3

Majesty lifted Naya's chin with his snout, trying to cheer her up. There was no way he'd let her go alone, he wanted to protect her.

When Majesty listed the places he knew Malcom could be in, Naya felt stupid inside and thought to herself: why the hell would I have gone on my own!? I don't even know the lands!- And when he continued speaking of the mountain wolves and Jinx, she swallowed with an altered expression on her face -F*ck..-

"Stick close to me when we leave, alright? I'll protect you. And you have to promise to do as I say. If I tell you to run, you do it. Even if it means leaving me to die. Okay? You have to promise me, or I won't let you go at all. Do you promise?"

Majesty was looking at her with the most serious expression Naya had seen on him. He was waiting for a response, but Naya kept silence for a couple of seconds, staring back at Majesty's eyes; and then she gave her answer "Ok Maj" she said, still with fear in her eyes; but then her face turned into a more serious expression than majesty's, almost angry: "but you promise we won't get to that point"
Naya didn't wait for a response and rushed towards the mainland over the sandbar, shouting at Majesty: "C'mon Maj! lets raid those rivers!"

the most childish response ever.. xD also, sorry I couldn't get Maj's writing colours right :(
Majesty's speech color is the third one down on the second vertical column. Do you mind if I forward-date this a little, to take into account the meeting where I told everyone about Erika and Majesty? I'm going to set this after the meeting but before she joins.

Majesty laughed as Naya charged ahead towards the mainland. "No wonder your brother is always worried about you!" he called. Before he followed her, he sent out a howl to all members of the pack to let them know he would be gone for a while, and that he was taking Naya. He didn't want anyone to worry.

For a moment, he wondered if Arkham would be all right by herself, but then he shrugged. That wolf-dog was too stubborn to die, and he had been very specific telling her about the plants she needed to be taking. She would be alright as long as they weren't gone for more than a few days.

"You wouldn't last a day on your own!" he continued saying to Naya as he caught up to her. They ran side-by-side. "Stay close to me, remember?" he said.

"We'll go to Whitefish River first, since it's the closest, but that means we'll need to go through Ravensblood Forest. Horizon Ridge made it clear they don't want us hunting there, but if we keep quiet and don't bother anyone, we should be fine as long as we're quick. I'd rather face Horizon Ridge's wrath than Silvertip Mountain's."

Majesty stopped for a moment, and sighed. "You seemed to be the only one at the pack meeting who didn't want to tear my head off the other day. Do you... do you think that I did the right thing? Everyone seems to be questioning my skills as a leader, and... I'm beginning to think I'm not fit to be leading a pack - any pack." He padded along slowly, looking at the ground. "I'm beginning to think I've made too many mistakes that I can't make up for..."
I thought it already was after the meeting.. xD no problemo
Also, I'm confused about when they stopped running so I'll suppose it's when they reached the end of the sandbar..
btw did I get the colors right this time? :D

Majesty followed Naya down the sandbar "No wonder your brother is always worried about you!" Naya knew she often got in trouble, and now she felt nothing but guilt for leaving her brother alone, and knowing that the mountain wolves wanted him dead only made it worse.. "He loves me, Maj! he has to protect me..." she panted for a couple seconds, for the running, and then continued: "and he can't do that if he's not with me!" she shouted to make sure Majesty was hearing, as he was running behind her.

Majesty then howled to let the pack now they were leaving, and caught up with Naya "you don't know what I'm capable of!" she knew that majesty was right, she didn't even know where to start looking and the threat of two packs that wanted their's vanished didn't help at all. Now running side by side, Majesty reminded Naya to stay close to him, and in response Naya barked teasing, but in agreement.

"Where should we start then, Maj?" Naya took note as he answered: Whitefish river; through Ravensblood; avoid Ridge wolves; be quick. Noted.
It seemed a little complicated but she hoped she'd be ok with Majesty, she trusted him.

They ran until they reached the sandbar's edge. There Majesty stopped; Naya turned around to him, he looked concerned, and sad. Naya had never seen the Alpha like that; she tilted her head to a side "What is it, Maj?" she barked softly, "are you ok?" Majesty told her that he was concerned about the meeting they had the other day, that he felt he wasn't a good leader and that he made a lot of mistakes. Naya knew that some of that was true, but she also knew that she didn't know anything about packs.

"Y'know, I'm not an expert on being part of a pack, nor do I know anything about being and Alpha; but I do know that you're doing the best that you can Maj, I trust that you never meant to hurt anyone, I know it. Maybe you chose a bad place to find your mate, but if you truly love her then I guess it's worth it, isn't it?" Naya stopped for a couple of seconds and just stared at Majesty's eyes, then she lifted his chin with her snout, just as he did with her before.

"We can work things out Maj, everyone makes mistakes and those who stand by you will forgive you; I forgive you..." she then offered a smile and a soft wag of her tail, and after a second or two she raised her head and with a cheerful voice she barked: "Now, lets go find that bastard before he gets killed" she waited for majesty's response, wagging her tail...
Yeah, the colors are right. Also,...??? YOUR NAME CHANGED. It used to be Simon! What?! Also, I'll make this kinda short, and make it the last post and then you can start the new one in Ravensblood Forest.

Majesty chuckled slightly when Naya used her nose to lift his chin. He supposed he deserved that, having done it to her earlier. It just felt silly that now she was taking care of him. But that was what pack wolves did, wasn't it? Look out for each other?

"Thank you, Naya," he murmured. "Your faith in me makes me feel much better. I will do all I can not let you - or any of the other pack members - down."

"Now, lets go find that bastard before he gets killed," Naya barked, wagging her tail at him.

He laughed. "Yes. Let's!" And they were off, heading towards Ravensblood Forest.
