It was one of those fall days where the sun kept you warm but the breeze was nice and cool and hinted the promise of snow to come in the months ahead. The air smelled like crisp leaves and the dying of plants around them, the air chilled enough to feel icy as she breathed it in. She loved it!

Wagging her tail she begun to roam around at a leisurely pace, taking her time as leaves fell around her. Suddenly a rotting fruit type of scent grabbed her attention except it was weird because it wasn't sweet like fruit. She tracked it down and spotted a small undergrown orange thing that oozed out stringy orange stuff. She sniffed at it and jumped as a loud thump behind her startled her. She turned to see a squirrel, laying on the ground and struggling to get up. When it did finally manage to get upright it hopped forward as if trying to run, but only made it about half an inch at a time. "What the hell?" she grunted and wasted no time in springing on it, killing it. She smelled it to check for sickness but found only the scent of that weird fruit around it's paws and mouth.

Turning back to the fruit she wondered why it made the squirrel act so strange. The prey hadn't seemed distressed, more goofy and playful then anything. Hesitantly she began to lap it up glob by glob and wrinkled her maw at the taste. Gross! Snorting she poked at it and decided to just carry her catch back.

*fifteen minutes later*

She had dropped the squirrel at the cache when she noticed a strange floatiness in her head. Her balance was all off and as she tried to step forward she leaned to the side and stumbled, laughing loudly as the whole world tilted and her mind was dulled. "I'm the squirrel now" she said aloud to herself and stumbled around, failing and flopping over bursting into another fit of laughter. She felt great, forgotten was any bad feelings she may have been harboring.
Vespera wondered through the trees, she was enjoying the fall weather for it was a step closer to her favorite season winter. The fall breeze was cool, and it carried the scent of moisture and coolness, the dry leaves that got picked up into the wind after they fell from their branches, flying freely throughout the air. The young female wondered some more, but her journey ended when she heard the phrase, "Im a squirrel." Vespera stopped herself so hard that her paws dug into the dirt and she almost tripped over herself. The young female lifted both ears and quickly scanned the area, she had hoped she was hearing things. Vespera stood there silently for a good moment thinking to herself of what she had just heard. Uhm... I swear I hope I am hearing things, however her thoughts were interrupted with the echo of uncontrollable laughter. She thought that two wolves were joking around or something else. But she frowned and thought that it couldn't be it, so she decided to investigate by following the sounds of echoing laughter.

Vespera trotted to a halt and could only stare at the female in front of her. She observed her movements and taking notes on her appearance. Vespera began to think that this female might have been an intruder since she hasn't seen the female before. However something about her was...Odd... She was stumbling around laughing uncontrollably and there was a strange aroma in the air. She put that on the back of her mind and tried to think of what Valette would do in the situation. She thought that puffing out her chest and trying to walk all proud would work. So she puffed out her chest and held her breath, instead of walking with pride, her movements were stiff and awkward as she approached the female. She approached the giggling female, she couldn't hold her breath any longer and her chest deflated, but she had enough breath to ask her, "Who are you? Are you a trespasser? And what the hell is wrong with you?" She couldn't help but slip that last part in.
In the short time before Vespera showed up she had rolled onto her back which was a bad mistake. Her legs flailed and body rocked, all her limbs feeling so heavy and clumsy but also loose and floopy at once. It made it hard to control anything. The sudden voice, demanding and authoritive and.....young startled her and she stopped flailing legs sticking straight out in the air at awkward angles as she stared at the girl. "Illecebra. Cebra. Been here for....a year." she slurred. Her eyes narrowed for a moment in thought. Had it been so long since she had marked her scent that she had been unknowm by anyone new in the past few months? Shoot. "Nothing is wrong . Saw a squirrel acting odd, found a strange smelling fruit, ate it and now I feel happier then ever and...my body is all floppy" she said and snorted as she resumed the struggling to roll over looking like a turtle on it's shell.

After a few moments she succeeded partially. She rolled over and because her body was all out of sorts and loose, she kept rolling and flopped onto her side again, cursing. With more effort then should have been needed she lay upright and then stood, bow legged like a newborn fawn and then began to take itty bitty half inch steps forward "Want some? I'll show you where it is? There's enough for a few more people" she said.
Vespera's eyes widened and jaw dropped a bit. She watched as the female stumbled around and then flopped on her back with her legs flailing. The female who called herself Illecebra, had claimed that she saw a squirrel acting funny and something about a strange fruit and deciding to eat it. Vespera blinked in utter confusion, and didn't know what to think. She continued to watch the female to stumble and flail around, but the female asked her if she wanted some. Vespera seriously hesitated on the question, she felt herself sway for she was lost in thought. Should I? I mean look at this wolf, she is flat on her back flailing her paws like a turtle who can't get back on its feet. However, the female looked around, she made sure that no one was looking, especially Valette. Vespera lowered her head to the females face and her voice toned down. "Don't you tell no one." Her tone was almost menacing, but she made it so that only the female and herself could hear. Vespera raised her head and looked down, "Ah sure why not," Vespera's mood completely changed, but she went over to the strange smelling fruit. She gave a quick smell before taking a little bite. Nothing seems to be wrong..... Vespera hesitated for a moment, but then she took more swift chomps at the fruit. The female craned her head upward and looked around. Huh.. still don't feel anything wro- Her thoughts were interrupted by her head suddenly feeling afloat, she felt as though she was walking on clouds.

"Holy Sheeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttttttttttt....................." Vespera'a legs began to feel like wet branches and wobbled around, her ears flopped in different directions and one of her eyes was half closed. The environment felt light on her paws and changed around her. Vespera's legs wobbled and soon she tripped over a rock and fell forward flat on her muzzle, but her body weight fell on her so she flipped all the way over. "A double sheeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttttttttt." The young female was flat on her back and staring at the clouds. However the clouds morphed into threatening images. Vespera snarled, "I will Fight the sky!!!!!!!!!" Vespera tried so hard to get up but every attempt was a fail, so she just ended up looking like she was trying to dig up the sky.
