Night had rolled across the landscape and settled there, but Treason had come down off the slopes to wander.  She was technically looking for @Corvus (regardless of whether or not he's mentioned as MIA in another thread), trying to will him to wander out of the dark even though he likely wouldn't.  It wasn't a particularly risky venture, but it was one she felt she had to make, to interrupt her routines in order to make what might turn out to be a final attempt to find him and inform him of what was going on.  It wasn't like her daylight ventures had proven to be much luck aside from some snacks.  That was okay, but in all honesty she was looking for something for something that would be more interesting than a hare was filling.

She had gone at night because that was what he hinted.  It was cold down here in the Flatlands, where cold air had fallen to spend the night, and the broad flat expanse that stood before her and faded into blackness didn't leave too much to imagination.  Winter was crawling its way forward, currently showing itself by the uneven sprinkling of snow that fell and sprinkled upon her fur.

Treason could only keep looking.  Something would show up, one way or another.  Eventually.  It just might not be what she wanted.
