set a day after Aerasha's joining date
September 13th

After officially being accepted into Easthollow's ranks, Aerasha prompty took the time to stretch on one of the rocks and take a rest. She found the territory absolutely delightful for a nap fest, and couldn't help but act like a lazy cat and sunbathe. Though it turned into a full-time snooze, but she didn't mind at all. Felt pleasant to relax- as per usual.

A droop bicolored gaze slowly opened to greet the new day. Aerasha felt content with being unmoving, "How unusual.~" Though as she laid down on one of the fallen stones, the coffee cream dame couldn't help comment on the odd formation. She seen stoned and temporary claimed them for comfort, but never one with such corners. They claimed such an abnormal territory, she already felt satisfied on this Pack.
Brynn had spent her morning patrolling and was now on her way out of the territory to do some exploring. She had been doing that a lot lately, feeling less and less like Easthollow was her home. She wasn't really sure where this sudden feeling of not belonging came from, but every day the feeling grew stronger. She shook her head as though she could shake the thoughts from her mind, and continued her trek across the territory. The feeling would pass soon; it wasn't the first time she had felt out out of place, and she knew it wouldn't be the last time either.

As she neared the stones, she saw the cream and tan wolf lounging about. She guessed this female was new and wondered why she was here napping instead of making herself useful. She trotted over to where the woman was perched. Do you need something to do? Brynn asked disapprovingly. It was almost winter, so she knew there were plenty of things this wolf could be doing other than napping. She could be filling caches or patrolling, or something. She stared down at the new wolf expectantly while she waited for her response.
The cat nap came to a halt as she lazily raised her head to glance at a wolf Aerasha has yet to meet. She looked curiously with a bicolored gaze at this stoic-like wolf and gave a slow smile, "heeelllooo.~" she greeted first and foremost.  Most wolves she met seemed so serious, but she didn't mind. They tended to be a bit more interesting when you bring up certain topics...

"Mmm.~" well she wasn't really busy. The cream maned fae forgotten about the ordeal she actually had to do something now. Though she just joooiiinnned. Easthollow must be quite active to already make her get up and move. Where was the mountain ride @Greyback when she needed him?

Digressing her joining moments prior, "suuureee, buuut....~" Aerasha felt she wouldn't be able to get away with a 'nah,' as she was currently being looked at with a disapproving yellow gaze. She didn't mind this look, but had a keen inclining that she'd be dragged somewhere nontheless. The cream fae was a bit too sleepy to try and get out of it too. However there was also more, "isn't it... aaa niiice day?~"
Brynn offered only a curt nod in response to her greeting. She watched the female silently as she attempted to answer her question, but was a little irritated when it became obvious that her new pack member had no real answer to offer. The latte-colored wolf finally ended her response by commenting on how nice the day was. Brynn looked around before returning her scrutinizing gaze back on the woman. Then it should be easy to get some work done, she answered, raising an eyebrow. Soon the weather won't be so nice, and every member should doing their part to ensure that we're adequately prepared for winter, the gamma added. Sure, it was a little harsh, and she normally would try to be a little more friendly to their new members, but seeing this woman leisurely napping on a rock when there were things to be done ruffled her feathers a bit. It was nothing personal, she just felt like everyone should pull their weight, especially the new members who still had something to prove in Brynn's opinion.
Her speciality was lazing, causing others to be uncomfortable or generally irritated. In this case Aerasha was not pleasing the female, but continued her lax and playful smile, "kaaay,~" she responded like a child to a mothers instructions, "buuut,~" though as she was an adult, she had an arguement. "Isn't it aaaa day to smelll the flowers? Mental heaaaltth is impooortant.~" Once in a while have to stop and look at the sky and sniff some flowers.

Which Aerasha always does, "thooouuugh, what kind ooof work?~" Since she always does, what kind of work does Miss Serious have to offer?
Smell the flowers? Brynn didn't usually have much use for such things. She looked at the female, raising a disapproving eyebrow. I don't usually have that luxury, nor do I really care to, she answered curtly. To her surprise, her new packmate actually next inquired about what kind of work there was to be done. Relaxing her expression a little, Brynn replied, Well, we could patrol or hunt. There's a herd of deer that moves through the territory. Brynn had been keeping an eye on the herd lately, trying to learn their movement patterns and what they were doing during different seasons. Her hope was to become so familiar with the creatures that she could find them at any time. It required a lot of tracking and watching, but she didn't mind.
"Hmmm.~" She hummed, looking at Brynn with a cresent gaze and a soft smile. Aerasha was casually studying her, before dipping her head to the side and commenting on her diligence, "buut, isn't it peaaacefuuul?~" Easthollow seemed quite in a good spot, she was unaware of any water or prey issues, but they seemed in a state of peace with others. "Caring for youurrselfff is alsooo impoortant.~" In the fae's case she did it a little too much, but hey, she is enjoying life.

Her ears flickered at 'patrol,' but she interpreted in another way, "a stroll sounds niiice.~" While hunting a mouse or two was nice, she never found a care for going bigger. Aerasha preferred to watch them, or attempt to play as they flee from wolves. In some cases she is the one getting chased though, but gleefully as she laughs while being nearly trampled. Though patrolling! It sounded pleasant to walk and watch nature.
She stared blankly at the woman as she went on about it being peaceful and the need for self-care. Well, things only stay peaceful if everyone pulls their weight and keeps things running smoothly, she answered, uninterested in hearing anything else about taking care of herself.

Finally her new packmate agreed to go on a stroll. Let's go patrol then, Brynn answered, purposely emphasizing the word 'patrol' to imply it was more than just walking around. With a nod, she began to walk towards the closest border, assuming the woman would get up and follow along beside her.
So serious, what kind of work does this wolf do normally do? It seemed quite easy to guess; patrol. She quietly chuckled at her own amusement within Aerasha's thoughts as she playfully looked at this wolf, who seemed to not be enjoying her carefree nature. Though the tough personality won't change the cat-like wolf as she slowly rolled off the rock, and at Brynn's feet as the she-wolf started to turn toward the border.

"Can weeee," Aerasha startly to sluggishly followed as she bobbed her way on over, "take a strolll, near some meaddoowws?~" She was guessing if there was some around, but it was such a good day, there's gotta be some around to relax in. She was making it quite clear what her intentions were- stroll and take a sunbath.
Brynn sighed a little, growing slightly annoyed with the woman's carefree nature. Being easygoing wasn't inherently bad, but it did become a problem when such a wolf couldn't balance that with also being a contributing member of a pack. Still, she didn't know this female very well, and she was willing to give her more of a chance; she seemed nice enough anyway.

Um, sure, we can patrol near the meadow I guess, she answered, stopping her walking only to brush up against a bush near the borders to leave her scent there. The meadow wasn't too far and was close enough to the edge of the territory to be a productive place to patrol.

They walked for a little while until finally they neared the meadow. It wasn't quite as pretty now as it was in the spring since the weather had started to get cold, but it as still a nice place. She looked over to her packmate once they arrived. Here we are, she said, coming to a stop to see what Aerasha had to say.
Brynn was determined to call it a patrol, but Aerasha kept calling it a stroll. Weren't they the same thing, basically? Probably? Though she was with glee on getting a yes to visit the meadow, that she let out a small, "woo.~" Gosh she thought it'd be a struggle to convince the serious gal to let her visit, but she managed, somehow.

When the two arrived, the creamed and coffee wolf already started to wander away from their 'patrol' to venture closer into the meadows. There she literally slide downward to enjoy the fresh scent of the meadow and flowers, "how niiice.~"
Brynn watched, somewhat puzzled, as her packmate indulged herself in the meadow by lying down on the ground. The meadow was nice and all, but did she really need to be so dramatic about it? She let her do her thing for a few minutes before releasing an impatient sigh. Alright, we should keep moving, she barked before curtly adding, A patrol requires you to actually walk the borders of the territory. You can't do it efficiently if you stop to do--whatever it is that you're doing. It was a little more blunt than she liked to be normally, but Brynn was beginning to think that this particular wolf wouldn't really respond to much else. Besides, they still had ground to cover, and it was stressing Brynn out to think they were just sitting here wasting time.
"Okaaaay.~" While Aerasha agreed to 'keep' moving, she had a mischevious tone in her responds. The plush fae didn't move from her laying position, rather she gently used her backpaws to simply push herself forward. She was technically moving, but toward Brynn rather then the direction she should be going toward. The creamed mane she held was a bit disfigured by the slide, as dirt rubbed against her light colors, but she didn't care too much about it, and continued to have a lethargic-like smile.

"i'mmmm, patrolling the flowers.~" Her nose stopped right near Brynn's feet as she looked up, "it'ssss, impooortant, y'know? Proteccttiing naaature.~"  She giggled though, using small excuses to make the other stay at the meadow with her. She wanted to stay and enjoy the colors instead of wandering to wherever, because it smelled simply delightful in the area. She wanted to enjoy it.~
She watched as the other woman scooted her body across the ground much like a child might. Brynn released an irritated sigh as Aerasha came to a stop at her feet, stating that she was patrolling the flowers. Really? This wolf was trying her nerves big time, and she was a pretty patient wolf. At first, she merely stared down at the girl, giving her an are you kidding me look. Was this really happening right now? Okay you've had your fun. Now it's time to get going, she said, her tone full of irritation. She wasn't going to humor this wolf anymore; if she wanted to patrol, then she needed to stop stalling and actually patrol. this wasn't a game.
Despite the irritation setting within Brynn, Aerasha took no note of it and didn't change her attitude. She still continued onward with a breezy attitude, and with a lethargic smile as she enjoyed the grand meadows. Though the other didn't appreciate her pleasures, as she seemed to snap that the fun was done. But for one who was always in her own world, the fun wasn't over. She seemed almost in a laugh by the irritation that the other was getting from.

"Heeeey, youu thiink," Aerasha started, "thaat Easthollooowww, will remain peaceful?"
She was done with the other female's lazy attitude. Brynn had things to do, and she couldn't get to them until she did her normal patrol routine. Otherwise, she would worry all day that one of the borders might be left vulnerable; she wouldn't be able to fully focus on anything else. The horrible things her mind would come up with would flash in her mind at odd times, causing her to worry greatly. So, she turned to the female. I need to get shit done, so I'll have to talk to you later. She turned from the woman, adding a, Sorry, before turning to walk away.
