Murr, still getting into the swing of things with her. Didn't want to assume too much. But here she is! ^^ @Jace (or whoever wants to be welcoming party if Danni doesn't want to or doesn't mind)

She was getting close, she just knew it. There was a feeling that she just couldn't shake. Elated, she continued to run, staring at those gorgeous mountains that were coming closer and closer with each stride she took. Closer to some of the only family she had left and one of the only people she knew wouldn't turn her away.

Vienna had heard word that there were wolves out here, and through hearsay had heard of Jace's involvement in these parts. It had been by chance, but immediately she had departed, needing to see if her brother truly was here. Imagine it?! She hadn't seen him in ages and missed him terribly. They had parted in a sort of awkward state, but she was of the opinion that such a thing hardly mattered now.

She had been wandering for weeks searching for a trace of him and finally her search had paid off. A scent border, and among the wolves, there he was. It was a small trace but all she needed to throw back her head and sound a happy howl. As her musical voice rose over the lands, she hoped that he would hear and come. Surely he would, right? She couldn't be wrong... she was still his 'big' sister, and always would be.

Ferdie was now ever prowling the boarders more so then he ever had while a member of swiftcurrent but then that was his job, he marked and re-marked the boarder even if that meant nothing to the impudent wolves of swiftcurrent creek.

He heard the howl and moved quickly to intercept the wolf who had alerted the pack of her location. If she were an intruder looking to do harm this was not a good start. if she wanted to join the pack she'd had to show the proper respect.

Ferdie Von Pelt came out a yard above her and placed himself between her and anyway further up the mountain. His tail lifted his over his back he rumbled loudly, it wasn't a growl really but a warning nonetheless. He waited for her then to respond to him, he didn't need to speak yet, for it was she who had to explain her presence here not him.

she's actually older than him lol by about 40 mins

Jace heard the howl from his spot on the ground and he rose so fast he stumbled. He ran down the mountain as fast as his long legs could carry him. he made it to the ground and stopped breathing hard and fast. he pushed past ferdie without really thinking about it to get to her

His eyes traced over the scarred shoulder the mask and the white fur and a small whine escaped his maw as he stared at his sister. He didn't know what to say or how to act, so he just wagged his tail. vienna?
Ahhh fixed it!

Vienna's heart leapt as someone approached, then fell to disappointment when it wasn't her brother. Still, she immediately took a submissive posture. He was obviously of a high rank around here from the way he carried himself and she didn't want any trouble.

He was slightly forgotten, though, when a familiar black figure raced in, sliding to a stop a little ways from where she stood. Vienna? Her tail waved and she let out a happy bark. "Jace!" She almost ran over to him, but something stopped her... the presence of the other. Alpha? She guessed so. Unsure of what the proper protocol was here, she looked at the other wolf, then back to Jace. She supposed she should introduce herself, but at present, the words escaped her.

Ferdie quieted as Jace sped by him, his eyes narrowed slightly but he did and said nothing. Ferdie huffed softly, clearly they knew each other and his posture softened a little he trusted Jace, owed him his life even.

He did not appreciate being cast aside in the moment but this was a joyous Reunion by the looks of it and he did not want to spoil it, he wondered if this might be the sister Jace had once spoken of, her howl had been lovely indeed, Welcome home Vienna He used the name Jace had just given her assuming it was correct. Ferdie smiled and loosed a little howl a small song of welcome. Mayhaps one day the three of them could sing from the mountian top. For now Ferdie backed up a few paces and gave them space

Jace finally realizing what he had done turned a sheepish gaze towards Ferdie. I'm sorry Ferdie, He averted his eyes and then gave the older male a grin This is my sister Vienna Songbird.

Then without further adieu he rushed forward and nuzzled her muzzle and nudged her shoulder, she was not a small wolf, but he was still a little bit larger than her. I have missed you Vienna, so very much. he didn't even think about all the scars he wore now or anything really, other than the simple fact that his sister was here with him.
Jace's sheepish deferral to the other male cemented his rank more firmly to Vienna. She ducked her head as Jace introduced her, smiling shyly. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She hadn't meant to offend or overlook him... she'd feel badly if they had upset him.

When Jace came and nuzzled her shoulder, she returned the gesture, pressing her forehead against his shoulder. "I missed you too, brother," she replied softly. He seemed to have been through a lot since they had last seen one another... his pelt was crossed with scars where once there had been none. All she was worried about now, though, was the fact that he was here and in one piece. She could hear those stories later, if he was willing to tell. They would hopefully have time to catch up, that is, if she were allowed to stay here.

Lifting her head, she looked at Ferdie. Swallowing her self-consciousness, she addressed him directly. "I was wondering if perhaps I could stay here, at least for a while?" If they weren't looking to take wolves in, she didn't want to push her luck, but she hoped to make sure it was ok with him since he seemed to be calling the shots here. She didn't know what she would do if he said no.

You are welcome here for as long as you want. I'm sure Jace you keep you around as long as he can. Ms, Songbird

Ferdie smiled and turned away, he would get to steal Vienna to himself later but for now this was Jace's moment, and he would not taint it for his beta.

Once Jace gets you settled in, seek me out He trotted off to continue his border patrol

Jace turned ot his sister and grinned and then looked down at her shoulder, he had never forgiven himself for that and he probably never would, but he was moving on from it at least. Come on Vienna I'll show you around. You have got to meet Amekaze and Nightingale yet. He motioned for her to come with his shoulder and turned to lope off, thrilled with the days events thus far.
Gonna guess that's fin on this thread and go ahead and archive it =D

Vienna looked at Ferdie and nodded, happy that he wasn't going to make her leave. "I will." She made a mental note to go see him as soon as she and her brother had finished catching up. He was leader here, she would need to get her position on these lands and the rules to follow while here sorted out.

As Ferdie left, she caught Jace looking at her shoulder and bumped her nose against his side affectionately. As far as she was concerned it was all water under the bridge. True, she had learned to fear him that day, but he could control it now. That fear was long gone. Besides, she was hardly unable to defend herself now. She loved him regardless, and while he might never forgive himself, she had forgiven him completely.

"Sound great!" Her heart raced at the thought of meeting even more strangers, but it was a good sort of racing. She couldn't wait to meet the wolves who had been a part of her brother's life since he had departed.
