Looking for someone to give Khali some pointers for pups in the future so it can go toward his Caregiver trade! :)

After his run in-literally- with Ibis, he was quite concerned with how he would be with pups in the future. The way he was with Ibis wasn't bad but it could have went better. She cried because she thought he was her dad, it hurt him a bit if he had to come to terms with it. It hurt him because he couldn't help her in that way, he had met Terance yeah but it's not like he could be like 'yo man your daughter misses you and so you should probably spend more time with her' when he hadn't said a word when they were at Lost hollow anyway. So many thoughts and so little time is what Khali had.

Right now he wanted to work on his pup skills and he wasn't sure who would be good to talk to. The sandyman knew that Seabreeze had pups and Olive did too, but he was sort of nervous to ask about it. Afraid to pry about something personal such as their kids. He paced in front of the falls as a nerbous tick for a while contemplating who he would talk to and how they would react. Obviously it couldn't go as worse as Ibis had gone.
Luckily for Khali, Olive was not far from the falls herself and loved nothing more than to talk about her children — or any children, really. She had truly taken to this particular area and loved how the forest’s characteristic arbors thinned out but still their long, billowing branches swayed and traced shapes in the water’s edge — the willows were an ethereal spectacle, and Olive was delighted to spend more of her waking hours amongst such a beautiful milieu, but at times the energy of the place buzzed too loud and the druid found that she must seek asylum in a quieter place. That place, surprisingly, was the falls.

Olive had not revisited the spit of rock on the fall’s sheer cliffside since Delight and Mali’s reunion with Brilliance; she had no desire to, not even as a place to better read the stars. For the moment, the pooling water held her every attention. Olive delighted in standing amongst the tree’s billowing banners and spying upon the minnows that congregated near the shores. Olive loved to dip her paws in the cool water and wash her face and slake her thirst. She loved to hum and sing and not worry that others might hear, for the sound of the falls deafened all and left her soundless. It was perhaps the most alone she might ever be again, now that she found her place on a leadership council once more.

Olive departed from the place to relieve herself and when she returned, the woman glimpse the man Khali pacing back and force in front of the body of water. She watched him silently for a moment, wondering what agitated him so; but Olive was long past the point in her life where she made meaningless speculations — she much more preferred to confront the truth of things. Cooly, she strode forward and beside Khali, incase he did not hear her arrival and needed to see it instead. The shakti woman smiled at him, but said no more.
Olive must have read Khalis mind because as soon as he stepped from his pacing he saw the woman and smiled. Perfect timing. He knew that with Lily being his mate there was a chance they would be bearing pups this coming spring and he didn’t want to chance not knowing a little about pups. The sandy man took a seat a few feet away from the Shakti and then bowed his head in respect.

Olive, ironically I was about to go find you or Seabreeze. How have you been?” He said softly. Even though he had many questions and was nervous about it he decided to create some small talk before getting down to business. After all he hadn’t talked to Olive in a while, if at all, since they had moved and it was nice to share a conversation with someone new.
Olive was fond of the group of wolves that called themselves Elysium. It might have been the fact that the wolves of the broken boulder had already been a part of a sanctuary — and that the other half of Elysium was comprised of her family. Though Olive did not know much about Khali, she trusted him immensely as he had proven himself to be a man who stayed. He stayed through the change of leadership, through the change of location, and when things did not seem to bright. He did not let the unruliness of Delight’s brood shake him. Khali was a good presence, and Olive liked having him around.

“I have been good,” she acquiesced and bowed to Khali in mutual respect. In Elysium there was little to hierarchy — though she were on the council, and Khali a sage, they were no more important than any other member of the seraphim. Jade eyes traveling up the crashing waters, Olive commented absentmindedly “Lily found us the most exquisite home, did she not?” and finished with a sly smile, a sidelong glance.

“I can see why adore her so. What can I help you with, brother?”
Khali smiled a bit when she said that she had been good. It was great to know that the members of the pack were thriving here. It was like it confirmed why they had moved. I'm glad to hear that! he said with a slight nod. He also looked over at the waterfall as Olive did and admired it. The way it crashed into the pool and the clear water flooded out for them to drink, it was perfect. She did pick the perfect place it seems. the thought of Lily made him smile harder. She was just amazing..

The question of what she could help him with made him swivel his head back to look at Olive again. Well... when I went to interact with Ibis it didn't turn out so well... matter of fact she almost drowned. I mean she ran away from me like she was scared... I'm not sure what to do. he spilled out in somewhat of a cohesive thought what was wrong. And I'm afraid if me and Lily have pups that I won't be such a great dad and that really scares me a heavy sigh left his mouth after that sentence. It was a burden he was ready to talk about and have some advice about.
Khali did not beat around the bush and, Olive thought, was very forthcoming with his concerns. The shakti woman respected that, deeply. Though the mother was a little alarmed to hear that Ibis had almost drowned [this was news to her], Olive trusted the Khali had been the responsible adult in this situation, and Ibis had been the child. Sometimes, these things happened. Olive was quiet for a moment as she mulled over

Olive met Khali’s gaze, sincerely. These were serious concerns, and Olive did not want the rock of Elysium to become destabilized. The thought of fatherhood, and the fear of it, sometimes drove men up the wall.
“Ibis is… volatile,” she commented thoughtfully. Ibis was not the only one who was prone to these sort of outbursts — Eleuthera was also susceptible to them, and then there was Delight’s entire brood — so for Khali to blame himself was not a victimless crime.

The sylph took a deep breath, and then exhaled fully.
“Seabreeze and I have similar issues with Mali, so trust me. I hear you.” Olive took a step closer and, if she hadn’t been so petite and he hadn’t been so tall, she might have raised a paw to place upon his shoulder.  “Not all children are the same. We must treat them as the individuals they are — we, as their parents, cannot control that.” The woman tried not to sound pedantic, but Khali had come to the right wolf to voice these concerns. In the not-too-distant-future, Olive too would consult Lily on the exact same subject. It was cute, how genuinely these two wanted to do a good job raising their children.

“As long as you are present — in their lives — and genuinely wish for and seek their happiness, you can not be considered a bad father.”
