Her goal had been to study the forest some today, and all had started well. She found an interesting assortment of plant life in the forest the surrounded the creek, even with winter's imminent arrival. Her plans were halted, though, when her front paws sank into a small patch of mud in a place where the sun peaked through the trees to melt the snow some. An irritated sigh left her lips as she inspected her filthy paws, and she immediately began to make her way to the water to wash it off. She did not like to be dirty.
It didn't take her long to reach the creek, and she quickly went to stand in the freezing water, lifting and setting back down her front paws to agitate the muck off into the water.
