shadow pelted figure moved from tree to tree in the twilight, green eyes moved from the sky to the earth and back again. Tear tracks were evident in the blue downy fur of her face. blue strode on into darkness wearing a path in the ground. Her heart was heavy, and her head was bowed. A soul crushing sadness ate at her insides and it was evident in the green hued iris's set into her head.

standing still she lifted her nose to the sky and sniffed, hunting for a scent she knew she wouldn't find, but hoping none the less. The little child stolen from their midst left chaos and emptiness in her wake. Blue was angry and sad, she could not understand how if there was a god or gods or heaven and hell they could make them hurt so badly.

She lay down and lay her head onto her paws. What could she do to fix this how could she make her heart stop cracking. how could she eleviate this crushing feeling of hoplessness, she didn't know, but she was going to try and figure it out.
Really hope you don't mind I join. :) I am not going to fid a scent, so I hope this is rightly suited.

Fireblaze was trudging out in the forest, in hopes of finding a trace of Osprey, when she stumbled upon Blue Willow. "Hello," she said. "How are you?"

Fireblaze thought for a second, then asked "Any signs of her?" Sitting down, she wondered again, where does the river flow? "Blue Willow? Where does the river go? If she went down the river, we might find her scent farther down." Sighing, she sat down, then lay down.

"You know, Osprey reminds me of my younger sister, Firestorm, who was just born in the sanctuary. She wriggled around all the time, and was constantly loud."
Blue Willow stared at the youth and wanted to scream, well how did she think she was, junior was missing. What kind of question was that really. She realized soon enough though that that would solve nothing, and blue wasn’t like that anyway. She never yelled at anyone unless they deserved it, and hardly even then. Besides the girl had her heart in the right place. I am not good Fireblaze

Blue stared at her and spoke The river goes for miles, we would probably not find the end for months or days. And Lasher and I, and Dante and Atticus already searched as far as we could and then her scent dissipated. Blue listened quietly, Where is your sister now?

Fireblaze paused, in thought, then replied "My sister is probably running around somewhere in another territory, for she was spotted yesterday." Fireblaze sniffed. "I am just so upset about Osprey. I should have been watching for her.

"I am always outside of our pack, hunting, and I should have been more keen, because the pups will never listen until they are mature."

Fireblaze's eyes welled up with tears. "I wish I could have done something," she whispered.
Blue smiled sadly, but it was still a smile no matter how small. Family is important I hope you find your sister dear. It makes for a better existence when we have our family near. ANd just like that she was sad again at the thought of little junior somewhere, alone and scared.

Blue heard her words and bit her cheek until blood welled out onto he tongue. We all wish we would have done something Fireblaze, we all wish it was different. Now all we can do is work harder to try and find her.
"I know, I know. It's just so hard." Fireblaze whined to Blue Willow, "I am so sorry I fought with Nameless. It was my fault for barging in on you guys." Laying her head down, Fireblaze rested her eyes, trying to fall asleep.

Sorry postings been slow, VERY busy
Blue shook her head It's quite alright, thank you for apologizing. Nameless should not have snapped at you either, it was not fair of either of you. Blue did not like to reprimand, but respect and manners were a large thing for her and it irritated her when others had terrible manners and were disrespectful, it just wasn't polite.

She motioned Come we will look this way, before you fall asleep.
Last post for me on this thread. :(

Fireblaze lifted her head. "Okay," she said uncertainly. She was going to leave soon, so she would tell Blue now. "Blue Willow," she whined. "I'm leaving BDP soon. I wanted you to be the first to know." She bowed her head, waiting for the snap of irritation.
Blue strode forward intent to look for Junior. Midly irritated with the other wolf, but kept her mouth tightly closed. With a small movement she began to sniff at the weeds and the water, hoping to catch just a whiff of the girl. Her heart hurt at the moment and she was in no mood for anything really.
